I might take Viv & Sam off the list because they arent that bad.

Edna is really one of those characters who annoys me and is at times quite rude. Like when she kept accusing The King kids for things they never did.

Rhonda i just haven`t got use to yet.

Sandy does not do much.

Adele i also havent gotten use to especially when they paired her with Andy.

Declan`s character is also i never liked. Prefered the actor on Waterloo Road.

I think they knew killing off Jackson wouldn't have had the same reaction. The show has not done anything to make us believe Aaron cares about Jackson.

This isn't new for Emmerdale. Cain killed, I believe, two dogs, to try to hurt people. The Reynolds family dog, and then he poisoned Sadie King's beloved dog, Damon.

What bothers me is that this whole "let's kill someone off to make us pity the thug that cares about them" is so close to what American soaps do, like Todd on OLTL. Between this and the asexuality it's just tough to care about Aaron now.

Starting tomorrow, Vision TV (a Canadian basic cable station that's original mandate was faith based programming--whatever faith) will have a 6pm block of Eastenders and Emmerdale--Eastenders apparently picking up where it ended last Spring when preminum cable channel, BBCCanada stopped airing it. I haven't watched Emmerdale in years, since CBC stopped showing it, so it will be interesting to see where they pick it back up (and CBC airs Coronation at 7--so that makes a good 90 min chunk of UK soaps...)

date: Monday, May 5 | Christopher Dunn, Lynn Martin | Anthony Pascarelli Dana is certifiably insane. Beyond insane. And I oop... Anita is about to pop off on her, and this is where it gets good. Oh God, Deadbeat, stop while you're ahead. You are not one to talk with how you treat your husband and children. Settle. Go on, Nicole. Tell Theodore exactly who his busted ass is. Not Dana comparing herself to those she's compared herself to. Damn, Katherine is really putting Eva beyond the bottom of her shoe with her insults. Savage, but deserved, because she called out Eva the first day. She knew, and not a single person believed her. Oh, Theodore, how dare you try and play yourself on the same level as Nicole; it's completely different. Mama Anita is up to bat, and she's going to come out swinging. And she delivered it to Dana in the way only the matriarch of a family could. Nicole kicking Theodore out "day by day" is everything. She's not taking this anything but day by day. W H E W... Katherine telling Eva she's dead to her. Wow. That's got to cut. Dana locking Eva's ass out and drinking her wine in her robe is the ultimate villain. True villain. Notes: Anyone trying to sell that Brandon Claybon (Martin) has improved in his acting must be lying, because this is laughable and bad. Next up for recast: the role of Martin Richardson. Omg. It's so damn bad. This man cannot act. At all. He's got to GO! Daphnée Duplaix (Nicole) is showing how much she's been missed from daytime. Ambyr Michelle (Eva) once again gave an award-winning performance in her scenes. Outstanding, standout star! The montage with Tamara Tunie (Anita) singing "Amazing Grace" was a brilliant touch to wrap up the episode, and to allow us the ability of moving on on Thursday.
    • That ending was beautifully done. Anita took us to church.
    • Leslie is TRASH, locking poor Eva out
    • That !@#$%^&*]ed up for Leslie to lock Eva out
    • Haha - my bad

Beautiful rendition of Amazing Grace by Anita. Effective way to pull on our emotions, especially watching Nicole and Kat cuddle together on the couch.
    • The end of this montage would have been a good time to have an explosion inadvertently kill off Ashley and Derek in classic Guza style.

    • No it was the preview for this week lol
    • Wait, did I miss something - didn't last Friday's episode end with Eva arriving at a man's doorstep? But here she was with Kat the full time. Oh wait, was that the previews I'm thinking of? Haha, oops.  I can't believe Leslie locked Eva out of the damn house!
    • I'd crawl into a hole and die if Anita ever came for me the way she is Leslie lol
