Question--does anyone know the story of how Shana's husband and child died?

I think I posted some synopses from SOD years ago, but from what I remember, they died in a plane crash. Shana was guilt-ridden because she was supposed to be on the plane too. She became determined to find out the truth, and I think she eventually found out that Cabot had unknowingly had something to do with it, which led to Cabot's "death," didn't it? Does anyone remember?

Yes your right about Shana's story . I always found Loving so bland and generic. But i did enjoy watching the episode. I guess it gave me a nostalgic feeling.

I believe that she played a rabbi on One Life to Live. 

The show's co-creator, writer, and (unbilled) executive producer has passed away.   She was Agnes Nixon.

Larkin Malloy, one of the actor who played Clay Alden, passed away on September 24 following a heart attack.   (That was his birthday.)

Watched the April 1991 ep.

 

Thanks so much. So rare to find Loving. Enjoyed this episode. This is the first time I've ever seen Ava's sister Carly. She's a good actress. And a bit of Paul and Ava too. They had real chemistry. And Joe Breen was so handsome. I like the way they handled the birth scene - muting out the usual screams that soaps do too much. Who was the man Trucker was buying the baby from? Tricia's distress was moving - I think some of the flashbacks were audio only because Noelle Beck had asked not to play Tricia's stillbirth scenes, due to being pregnant herself at the time.
