The retcons of HT's Victoria to fit AH's could be a thread of their own.

I would be ok with a re-positioned Vickie. Artsy Vickie who just came back from Florence where she met newest bestest friend in the world Sabrina, settling for boredom life with Jeffrey Todd after that Khutna Hora nonsenseness with the thig killer and being nearly killed by a marshmallow at Clear Springs BUT only if the character showed some emotion whatsoever which isn't "I wonder what I shall cook for dinner?"

AH is just a (too) bad actress. Simple as it is. I tried to be aptient with her. Yet three headwriters alters she gets worse and worse.

That's what happens when TPTB let entitled fanbases run rampant.

Yeah, I gave up in April for this very reason. No soap should be held hostage by any fanbase.....I cannot watch this insipid drivel. I'm hoping Hogan will come in and start something! ANYTHING at this point would better than what the show is delivering.

I hope Victor is pulling a Victor and is now determined to marry Sabrina just so he can make her miserable since he knows he can't be the daddy. I found it interesting that he booked her in with a obgyn to make sure she really was preggers before going ahead with his plan. One of the telling things was Victor saying to Sabrina "tell me the truth" and she got this really panicked look on her face before asking, "about what?". She's hiding something.

If they are really going to write that Victor is the daddy then I blame Eric Braden just as much as the writers. Part of being an actor is having the guts to tell writers, "learn the history, my character had a vasectomy and my character sold his plane to buy a night club". Unless the actors are hoping the writers hang themselves at the expense of their characters.

That's a very interesting point. Eric Braeden is very hands-on when it comes to Victor. He's been known to walk off set when there's something written that he doesn't want to play. I'm sure he made it known that Victor had two vasectomies.

ITD. AH is a great actress and by far the better Victoria. (HT is great as Katie on B&B.) She gets way more criticism than is called for, as do CK (Lily), TS (Colleen) and VB (Heather). Personally I think all four of the actresses I just mentioned are better than Sharon Case. JMO.

I was about to say, can you all imagine a muted Dru? But after they diluted Victoria, Collen, and Lily, that wouldn't be so hard to believe.

How are they "diluted"? In all of those cases, the recasts (or "unrecast" in Lily's case) were a massive improvement IMO!

Sometimes, your posts are so completely opposite from just about everyone else's, that I can't help but feel like you're joking.

But you incessantly back TS like you're related to her LOL. To each their own, but I still find it jarring.

While most of these actresses that you enjoy are capable, you must admit they haven't been receiving the quality storylines of Y&R's good ol' days, you must admit that. Unless you think the Clear Springs/Carmen Mesda/Reliquary storylines were quality...
