May 16, 200818 yr Member ^You never know, Toups. He could've. I don't see it as stupid at all. Hell, I've seen JER do much worse . Seriously, though, I see your points. I guess we just see this differently, which is not that unusual .
May 16, 200818 yr Member Id love to see a JER convo... JER: "then, marlena casket fly's to an islan d where everyone is alive!" Everyone in the world: JER: I KNOW! SHOCKING!! EITW: ummm... but how? JER: Those details dont matter. I can do whatever i want. The audiance is stupid anyways. EITW: JER: I know, Brilliant!
May 16, 200818 yr Member ^im aware of that... i just figure thts how all convos witht he man go... tat said i would love to see JER teamed with a man like Hogan or someone like Kay Alden.
May 16, 200818 yr Member Tamara was fab today. I didnt love todays show but i liked it. Tomorrow looks intersting. Also... idk what has happened to me.. somehow in the past few months i have become *gasp* a Bope fan! and no matter what i have always hated them (Bo+Billie!!) I think she is always fab. Now I've been a Bo and Hope fan for a while (however, I sure miss Billie). I'm glad that DH didn't push Ava into a cartoon character as she did with Mad Mags on OLTL. I'm really enjoying Ava and think she is a good addition. The actress is wonderful.
May 16, 200818 yr Member He forgot to take it out of his pocket? Come on, Tim, that isn't a stupid plot point? LOL In the DAYS writer's room: DAYS Writer 1: "How is Bo about to get evidence on Martino?" Dena Higley: "Ohhh!!! Ava's doctor's book!" DAYS Writer 2: "Okay, how does Bo get the book?" Dena Higley: "Martino's hitman has it!!" DAYS Writer 3: "Right, the hit man who killed the doctor. Hmm...why does the hitman have the book 24 hours after he killed him. Shouldn't he have got rid of the evidence?" Dena Higley: "Nope. He simply forgot to get rid of it! How brilliant is that?" You're insinuating there's even still a writers' room, Toups. LOL!
May 16, 200818 yr Member I've heard a while ago that only the two P&G soaps have conferences in the writers' room these days. The others soaps apparently do meetings via teleconferences or some other way. I don't know how true this is however..... Edited May 16, 200818 yr by Y&RWorldTurner
May 16, 200818 yr Member I've heard a while ago that only the two P&G soaps have conferences in the writers' room these days. The others soaps apparently do meetings via teleconferences or some other way. Which is a real shame. I think it's VITAL to a team to have that face time together, around the cliched conference table. Call me old-fashioned... Then again, there aren't even really teams anymore. Just two people really. And as far as I know, OLTL is still working on the old system as well.

In JER's Defense, I heard he was forced to write that crap because Ken Corday was afraid to make everyone stay dead!
