Well today's show was actually really good, maybe it was Mareah's music in the background or something, but everything fit pretty good today.

I think for the first time I really did not have much of a problem with Liberty. So far Janet is very Iris like, which I really don't mind all that much, and I like how she was not on for most of the hour, like the premiere late in the show. Katie and Brads' non stop kiss fest and sex fest is kind of getting old though, they need to be doing something else.

The Paul/Sofie/Meg/Mike stuff was better then most days they are on, still so sick of most of it being about Meg and Paul though.

Really like the Carly/Jack/Holden/Lily scenes, NuLily is alot better then I thought she would be, but she is no MB. So glad Carly said G-man, it's been a long time since she has done that I think.

Also was great to see Lucinda today as well.

Totally agree with you about them needing to actually focus on the story itself more, because I totally agree I think the viewers need to feel more of what Noah is going through in regards to Winston, but with the way things are being told, we are not getting much of a picture of how things really are going in Noah's mind at all. Also agree I wish Winston was not cartoonish.

As for Youtube, I think the million hits was there first kiss, but that took like 6 months or more to get to a million, the other parts of the story usually only get 20-30 thousands hits on them, and I actually think alot of those hits are just people watching the scenes again, I know alot of fans watch again and again during the really long stretches when they are not on.

I agree on the spoilers it does seem like they are trying to change somethings in that regard. And I totally remember that puddle spoiler, it was so not how that played out, seems like alot of spoilers lately are either not many of them, or blown out of proportion with most of the characters.

I thought Noelle slipped right in to Lily's shoes. The only thing that irritated me (probably because it was SUCH a Lily thing for her to say) was when she realized the girls had been upset, and she said "I thought Holden would have reassured them." As though a couple of reassurances would have made everything a-ok, after that "tough year" they've had. Nat's pretty much a lump, but Faith's always had a lot of issues wrapped up in her parents' relationship.

It's now officially obvious Holden is crushing on Carly. And that she's clueless about it (I thought it was so sweet she used her wish for his happiness) and so happy Lily's home. And Jack being snarky jealous? SWEET.

Katie? Yeah...brags to Jack how "strong" her marriage is (which, honestly, he deserved after his infidelity..) but then turns around and spills all to ex-husband Mike. So much for her "private" marriage. *snort* I hope Janet and Liberty make her life a living hell.

Weird how Carly was all smoochy smoochy with Barbara of all people. I mean, I know a lot of time has passed, and Gwen is their family...but c'mon. I think it was more Maura/Colleen than Carly/Babs. KWIM?

Well I thought Noelle did a great job today, and it couldn't have been easy! Her scenes with Lucinda were great and with Carly and Holden as well. It was very natural actually. Me thinks Holden has a crush on Carly. And Carly doesn't have a clue....lol! And Jack was looking a little green today as well...with jealousy...love it. This should be very interesting.

Janet was interesting as well. They need to tone her down a bit but love the look on Katie's face. She needs some competition for "Bradley"...lol. Great casting as well as Liberty and Janet were very believable as mother and daughter. Brad and Katie are just great as a couple. Love the writing for them right now as well and think this storyline is one of the few on this show with some actual potential. Looking forward to tomorrow.

I'm shocked by how much I like Holden and Carly as a potential romantic couple. Lily definitely stopped Holden from making his move on a clueless Carly whose hair was very flattering. Noelle is okay, but she is playing another character not Lily. It is too early to make any strong judgments though. I had forgotten that she is so pretty.

The Carly/Barbara love was so inappropriate given their long history of animosity.

It's a really really weird feeling when Emily is being reasonable and talking sane. I wish nuCasey would stop freakin' me out. First, he looks like a Craig Lawlor clone with his spiky hair...today he twitches his eyebrows exactly like Roger Howarth, and he suddenly looks like PaulJr.

BWAAAHHHAAAABWWWHHHHHAAA...that's me laughing myself sick over Katie's perturbances dealing with "JuicyJanet". I almost died when she made that pointed remark about those handsome exhusbands at Katie's wedding.

The Carjack/Lilden stuff was okay. Lily, however, would never EVER call welcomehome lovin' "lust". Lily never gets banged, she makes love.

    • I'm anticipating most of the cast at the Nice location for a few weeks a la the Tuscan villa for Victoria and Ashland's wedding. I don't know why they bother. I'd rather see the money going into more regular home/office sets. This party has been a bust. No secrets revealed, break ups  etc. Ugly decorations and I'm going to slam the costuming again. Just the guests heaping praise on  Nikki  like she's achieved some magnificent milestone rather than just getting a year older.

In the loving arms of his wife, Dr. Marlena Evans, John took his last breath at the end of the June 2 episode, after suffering devastating internal injuries during a lab explosion. The iconic character went out as he lived — a hero. Sensing the fans’ devastation on Monday, Marlena’s portrayer Deidre Hall posted this simple-but-powerful message to fans on Instagram: “I know. I know. Hardest day ever.”

    • Now coming into June...well...   I knew it was coming but I didn't like the start to the next round of Dani/Bill/Hayley. As the 3 A plots from the start of the show (The SilkPress storyline and Martin's Secret being the other two), it needed to be benched for a while to develop those characters and allow other characters and storylines to grow. 3 months in, Hayley is the weak link, Dani is still divisive, but not boring, and Bill has been making his mark with some plots faster than others. So last week seeing the story starting to loop back around to them with Hayley's potential pregnancy, I honestly had mixed feelings.   I get it. The SilkPress storyline is currently in aftermath/next turn mode, so it has to be moved into a C plot position. Moreso if we want to keep the very talented Miss Trish around. And I love how clever the writers are being with the storyline. They give us enough in the episodes and are still playing out beats to keep the appetite fed. I don't feel like anyone is being dumbed down to keep her around. And Trish is giving nuances in her alone scenes with NuTed. I shouldn't care for a clear psycho, but she be selling it. That said...I wish they had given us a little more of the Martin's Secret storyline in the last week of the month though I loved the game of cat and mouse Bill did on Martin and Smitty to keep the storyline alive and active after it had a nice build beginning of May and vanished for a week mid-May. And it appears like it's about to go back to the backburner as an A plot which of course leaves the A plot of Dani/Bill/Hayley.   I am probably in the minority as someone who is not anti-Dani here and even she annoyed the heck out of me last week. In character true, but I just felt like there was a way to get all of that across without it feeling like...as I've said before...one step forward, two steps back...and have it feel organic. I liked Hayley got a little bit of edge with her, but she still ain't no match for Dani. And it reminds to be seen if we should be going back to that well of a story yet.   Now about today's show...   And I thought Tracy was bad! lol. But YES. Sharon has been worth the wait. And so has Anita's story! Finally having TT in the limelight. This has been a nice slow burn for me and a nice B plot. And the actress is good. The wig is giving. And her holding what Anita's secret is over her head and threatening to tell Vernon....Ooooo...that is what I was waiting for.    And speaking of bad...I thought Eva vs Kat was a great rivalry. But I am loving the rivalry that is growing with 'Nancy Drew' and Silk Press Sheila! They both get good licks in and are so cunning with each other. And I definitely have liked that since the anniversary party, that it has been growing. Now that Kat has been proven right, she has not backed down. And neither has SilkPress. And we got a 'Ms. B@tch' moment, too? LOVE. Eva coming up with a trump card was delicious and so 90s Sami Brady. GOOD. And the coda with Jacob and the expert...YES. The Silk Press storyline has been the best paced on the show so I love that the aftermath of the anniversary party continues to be so...barring one flaw...well for me. Not enough Nicole's POV.   And I like the C plots on display. And by that, I mean Chelsea with Vernon. And it made me wonder what the writers have plan for her love life now that the throuple is over with. I was watching her and going awww.   And of course the mystery man around Martin. I am starting to wonder if he really even works at the country club given how he made a run for it. That would be a twist.    Speaking of Martin...good to see him in scenes with his father and mother.    I'm getting used to NuTed.    I felt the last episode of May was a bit of a letdown, but this was a very nice recovery.
    • Unless they cut him, I'd think he would stay. Surely, he didn't choose to return because he expected high quality. I figure he gets to work when he wants and spend a lot of time doing his own thing and being with his family.
    • The writing for Liz and Lucky is indeed terrible, but if JJ signed a one-year contract he may be gone in a couple of months anyway. Perhaps they’re just cutting their losses.
    • That would be his older sister Stacey. She was the center of a big story back in the day. Nola was out to snag medical student Kelly Nelson, who she thought would provide her with the life she craved. He was in love with a girl named Morgan. Nola plotted to get pregnant by him, but couldn't manage to get him in bed. So she seduced Floyd, who thought she was in love with him. When she knew she was pregnant, she got Kelly drunk and made sure he woke up next to her in bed. Kelly believed her when she told him he made her pregnant. They were about to elope to Las Vegas, but her mother ratted her out and Kelly abandoned her. She almost married Floyd, but jilted him at the altar. She went to work for Quint. When the baby came prematurely, Kelly saved both of them. She named the baby Kelly Louise to irk Morgan, who was now married to Kelly. When she fell in love with Quint, she had a change of heart over all the trouble she had caused, so she changed the baby's name to Anastasia Louise, shortened to Stacey. Quint was a devoted stepfather and Henry treated her like his own granddaughter.  After Quint and Nola leave SF, I believe Stacey is never seen again. Which is odd, you would think they would have brought her back with Nola and J, but they never did.
