Lisa Seidman is breakdown/assoc. writer, and Darin/Shelley are script writers. And Freiwald/Schreiber are writing partners. Aside from that, I believe it's all okay. Maybe Toups knows more about the position new writers will have.

It has taken me four days to wade through this thread.

However, I've loved every minute of it. Not only are you all very knowledgeable and respectful (and inside, I suspect), but you also are very witty. I have learned so much about the soap writing (and crediting) process through reading your responses. I look forward to reading and participating in the future, now that I've reached page 129!

Yeah, 22 writers is beyond ridiculous.

As the other shows downsize their writing teams, Y&R expands...I guess to keep the daytime writer pool in tact.
