I tuned in during the last 5 minutes on SN and even that wasn't worth it.

The scene were Nikki cries at David was great because of MTS's acting but the explosion was crappily, crappily done.

I simply can't stand David....All I want to know is if he's going to go POOF at some point.

That whole set up with the pairs was interesting....

Now the question is who was in the know the whole time about the mess ups with the project.

Yes, that's the only part of the story that has me engrossed. Just how is Nikki going to bounce back from Victor's treachery? Business intrigue is the only area Y&R is flourishing in.

Lynn Marie Latham is officially the dumbest person alive! Here you have the typical soap stunt, but with a larger budget than most, and the idiot still screwed it up! WTF?!

Explain to me why you'd rent out a new studio, build huge new sets, etc. only to blow it up BEFORE the big gala event? Who cares about a couple contruction workers getting blown up?! I care as much as I care about Clear Springs (not much).

Here is our cast of characters in danger: Jack, Sharon, Nick, Victoria, Adrian, JT, Nikki, David, Paul, Maggie, Lauren, Katherine, Cane, Amber and Queen!Noah.

Is it just me or is that the most bizarrely random and dull group they could've come up with? They should've gotten everyone dressed to the nines at the huge opening party, THEN blown it up! It should've been a major turning point in the storylines that have been featured in recent months. They should've played up the sabotage (if that's the cause) and the connection to Nick's plane crash. Instead Clear Springs is the central focus, not the characters or storylines that have been playing out for the past few months.

One interesting trapped pairing that was missed is Jack and Gloria. Maybe he could find out the truth about the skin cream (never gonna happen), go to confront GloBag and then everything explodes, trapping them together.

I also have to wonder if anyone will die, as the promos suggest, or will this be a cop out? Of the characters in peril, I can't see LML killing any off. Just as I suspected, a cheap stunt which will no doubt boost ratings and secure a second Emmy win for LML and her team of hacks.

I loved Victor putting his snotty children in their place. At least that's been consistent.

I must echo the "WTF?"s about the collapse. It just seemed so random and tacked-on.

I enjoyed Fridays episode....but I'm wondering if this Out of the Ashes story will have any real ramifications. Like one poster said...I can't see anyone dying although I noticed that a recurring theme in Fridays episode was "Where is Noah". If Cassie hadn't just died a few years ago, I would have definitely thought Noah would die. Maybe he's going to go missing..and just like Cassie's death ripped Sharon and Nick apart, Noah's "death" will bring them back together.

I don't know what's going to happen, but this will all be a waste of time if there are no lasting ramifications.

Any SANE HW wouldn't kill Noah off, especially since Nick and Sharon lost Cassie a very short time ago. But, no-one ever said LML is sane, so everything goes.

Monday's eppy is way better IMO than Friaday's show. I agree that they should have had this explosion at the grand opening of Clear Springs instead of now. I mean they should have really waited until November and had the whole town in Clear Springs and then blow the town to bits. Phyllis, Michael, Victor, Gloria, Jill, Kevin, Colleen, Neil, Lily, Brad, and Devon aren't even in Clear Springs and the pairings that are trapped together now cause no drama. Imagine if Jack and Victor had been trapped together and both depended on the other to survive. That would have been more interesting that what we have so far.

Based on having seen Monday's, I suspect there is more to come later in the week... at least I hope so.

By more I mean special effects, pyrotechnics, destruction, blah blah blah

Maybe he could be revealed as the culprit behind the building collapse, and receive the spanking Ive been hoping to give him for ages.

Hahaha....I agree. Noah is such an annoying little kid. I cant stand the actor in the role. Whether he is happy or angry the kid annoys me to no end. And I saw Friday's episode and it did not impress me at all.

Nothing happened in the episode... All of a sudden you see JT inspecting the walls and he discovers the cracks and - kaboom... Pffffff... Good dialogue though, by Sandra Weintraub.
