except she is younger than Rebecca Herbst and looks it. The show really doesnt need any young females as they have an abundance of those

IA. I could defiently see her on B&B. She would make a great Amber recast bc I got sick of Adriene Frantz towards the end and definetly hated her Y&R run. The only bad thing here is that you'd only have to expect 6 months at the most here since that seems to be the average lifespan on this soap unless you are lucky

Really then why is it they only have like five to six women shown on GH consistently. Maxie, Carly, Lulu, Elizabeth, Sam and Emily while everyone else is chopped liver? I wouldn't mind her on GH. But I would rather see her on primetime or perhaps a edgy good cable show like "Dexter", "Nip/Tuck" or "Weeds". Doesn't really matter.

and theres Robin and Leyla now that NS is over and then Kelly and Lainey. Theres already too many and Id rather see those who get less airtime have some before throwing a newbie into the mix. I love Alexa and would love to see her on GH bc I watch the show, but she isnt needed. The show needs to fcous on the young women they already have

Ill miss Alexa but Im interested in seeing Amanda in the role to see what type of chemistry her Babe has with Richie. Ive never found Alexa to be sexy in her pairings. They were sweet and adorable but she came across as cute to me. I guess mainly bc of hte way the show portrayed Babe with a heart of gold but she didnt have hot passionate chemistry with her men. I think it might have been different if they kept her more like the trampy bitch she was in the beginning it might have been different. I like Richie and the pairing with Babe and his character doesnt really fit with Alexa's Babe. Maybe that will change with Amanda in the role. I hope they have her have more of an edge

I just had to laugh when after teh hug it was Amanda's Babe. I knew it was coming but I still found it really cheesy. And Oooooo a new opening. I missed half of it but saw Ritchie, Ava and Dre. Was the new Babe in the new opening too?

    • I saw a conversation yesterday with Liam with the 7 dwarves hat and Steffy -  I know she did not say re: Hope and Liam said - well look at Finn and you forgave him right?      I know I did not hear Steffy say “well but you can’t compare that to…”  For *uck sake someone call the bitch out!?     You’re right, we shouldn’t compare your forgiveness for the dude with devil spawn seed whose daughter locked you in a cage along with crazy stepmom/mom/Grandmother who has also SHOT YOU BOTH - and multiple murder attempts but you have to exist with them / Hope’s part in a takeover which you know was FAR LESS THAN CARTER BECAUSE HOPE IS NOT AN ATTORNEY…. Goodness no, no the same thing at alllllllll.   When they do Steffy’s absence at least let it be because they all find out what a manipulative ho she is in her own right.
    • I think a lot of us still agree with that. I do hope that the resurgence in the soap world with Beyond the Gates will push ABC to either bring back these shows or produce a newer one.
    • So, this was fun. Elsewhere, friendly to polls, a poll on what do you want to see at the Nurses Ball. The Gio reveal got 18%, for Blaze to return & sing also got 18%, for Jennifer Hudson to do a cameo & sing got 10% and for Lucy to lose various parts of clothing got 9% but the huge one was the reveal of Drew/Nina sex which got a whopping 45%!
    •   I liked the effect of the curtains closing. Yeah it was like the end of Act I.   Or maybe they are simply trying to emphasize the drama of the end of an episode -- instead of a random abrupt end that has happened in some prior episodes.
    • I posted this in the behind the scenes thread but I know this thread is busier so wanted to mention it here as well. During their instagram live yesterday, Daphnee Duplaix and Trisha Mann-Grant mentioned that they will find out this month if the show is renewed for another season. Just a heads up so we can keep an eye out for an announcement and keep our fingers crossed for a multi-year renewal!
    • They haven't explained the ownership of the Bistro, but Doug told Holly the other day he didn't get the job there. Basically Roman just hired Doug on the spot and gave him a room.  It was really nice of Roman.  I don't know if he knows who Doug is or that he stole Julie's necklace.  That was unclear-at least to me.
    • I'm not sure how I felt about it, but I do kind of like that it felt like the show telling us this concludes the first chapter of the series. Could be interesting if they only do it for big aftermath episodes. The biggest mistake with Martin is that it's almost hard to buy his anger because we've gotten no strong scenes with him and his parents. They've all been with Anita/Vernon. I can't even remember him ever even saying one word to Nicole, even in passing.
    •   Thank you! Agreed on both posts. And the comments about Mike Manning are nonsense.
    • I haven't watched yet, but did they explain the current ownership of The Bistro?  Because when RonC was writing, wasn't he applying for work with Sophia?
    • I think Brandon has gotten better in normal day to day scenes, but he’s very over the top when the character is meant to be angry or agitated. I did laugh when she started yelling at Leslie and then when he started to throw all those damn books, lol. He needs an acting coach to work out some of these kinks.
