House was robbed.

A black screen and she got bleeped out...LOL.

She didn't on my screen. She talked about the war, mothers, how happy she was to be part of that group, to bring everyone safely home from the war and that if mothers ruled the world, there would be no war at all.

^^^Thanks for clearing up what she said, from the last of what I heard her say she was going in that direction and then she was bleeped out. I just rewatched her speech, I think they might of had some technical difficulties as well when she was talking on one part there was like a double loop.

Yay for 30 Rock and for Jamie Pressley. She consistently makes me laugh out loud. So happy for her! :D :D :D

I taped Tv-guides pre-show and am watching now Lisa Rinna started to question sally field about plastic surgery and Sally looked like she wanted to choke Lisa and was about to get nasty with her. Lisa ended that interview quickly. Jamie Lee Curtis and Sally field are two broads you don't mess with in an interview they will diss you on camera. Here's sally's comment on Bleep-gate 2007:

Pressed to elaborate on her bleeping, Field again shrugged, "Oh well! I’ve been there before. Good. I don’t care. I have no comment other than, 'Oh well.' I said what I wanted to say. I wanted to pay homage to the mothers of the world and let their work be seen and valued. I really think that if mothers ruled the world we wouldn’t be sending our children off to be slaughtered. That’s what [brothers & Sisters'] Nora Walker is [about], she’s this mother and she sees life through that."

"I probably shoudln’t have said the 'god' before the 'damned,'" Field allows. "That’s life. I didn’t have a point to get across, I didn’t have an agenda. I wanted to pay homage to mothers, especially the mothers who wait for their children to come home from war. If they bleep it... oh well. I’ll just say it someplace else

So how many times did Ryan Seacrest pretty much insinuate he's gay...but still can't really say it? haha

I loved that Sally Field won! Rachel Griffiths (sp?) should have won too!

And what exactly did Sally Field say at the end of her speech??? haha

^^^^The whole teri hatcher incident pretty much convinced me that he is gay. Its very funny how the stalkerazzi knew that teri/ryan were on a very secluded beach and ryan just so happened to kiss her at the right moment and then he didn't give her the time of day after that.:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

Some great surprises: 30 Rock, Jamie Presley, America Ferrera, Sally Field and even Katherine Heigel..

But James Spader winning was just lame..and i wish Alec Baldwin or Steve Carell would have won...But Toups did you notice that Alec Baldwin wasn't onstage when 30 Rock won best show?

Ryan Seacrest was horrfic. AWFUL!

Apart from that the Emmys were okay. Hated all that Sopranos pimping but it was finally the last year. So I'm ok with it. For once I pretty much agreed with all winners...

SALLY FIELD; SALLY FIELD; SALLY FIELD!!! She also had a great acceptance speech. :)

The intro was awesome and so was Jon Stewart among other sidekicks/presenters.

But Fox did some serious screw-ups: Did they ever announce/show in any form who got best actor in a drama series? Don't think so. (Only Best guest actress walked on stage and they did no bother to mention John Goodman in any form) And what was up with those mixed presenter duos? It was just bizarre and odd: people having nothing in common, neither TV show or network, nor height blabbing sth. before handing over the trophy. WTF!? And as I said: I HATED Seacrest as host.

BTW: James Spader had me ROFL. He seemed so lost on stage and did not know what to say without his David E. Kelley-scripts...

Yay for America and Katherine!

Loved the very beginning with the Family Guy characters

Loved John Stewart and Steve Colbert saying they were giving the award to Steve Carrell and then SteveCar ran up on the stage

Yay for Sally Field. CTV didn't censor her in Canada! I loved her anti-war sentiment.

American Ferrara just plain rocks! She was so sweet up on that stage.

Apparently, the ratings were the lowest ever since 1990.... Who/what to blame?

Although Ryan Seacrest = Awful, I guess it's mainly because total tv viewership has declined over the last few years.
