I actually like the bitter rivalries ...not the oh we are friends bit....I always thought there was a bitter rivarly between Martina and Chris.......and John and Jimmy too....I think its in his book....I hear his book isnt too flattering on other tennis players..lol..

It doesn't feel like there are any rivalries of that kind in tennis right now. Maybe that's why it feels a bit boring.....

Back in the 1990s and early 2000s, when I was following tennis more closely, there was a lot more of that. Or at least it felt that way. It didn't feel like Sampras and Agassi were the best of friends. Sampras and Rafter had a few incidents as well. I always got the impression that Graf and Sanchez-Vicario weren't on the best of terms either. And of course Martina Hingis vs almost everyone.....

I know that pissed me off..ugh...the guy is ranked 70 in the world...Berdych had a good chance to make it to the final with all the seeds going down...eh....the top seeds always seem to lose early in Canada for some reason.

Most of the seeds are gone except for Nadal and The Joker....Nadal could have easily lost today as well.....Canadian Open has never been a fav of mine anyways even though it has a lot of points in it...funny thing is most of the top players really didn't lose points because they get the same result every year and some just dont give a damn when they lose early in Canada....I believe Roger hasnt played the Canadian tournament in 2 years even though supposedly it is mandatory...lol
