ITA with these. It makes me angry just to even read it. LOL

56. Writing females who think men are solely their lives (Emily, Katie, Carly....)

57. Not giving Maddie and Casey equal airtime like Gwen/Will

58. Having Dusty fall for a woman who chained him up like a dog and literally gave him food in a dog bowl

59. Bringing back favorite characters promising fans a good story and then going back on their word

60. Ripping off Paul/Ro scenes and giving them to Paul/Meg (travel brochures, barn stuff)

61. Making Paul a wuss with visions

62. Killing off Nick Kasnoff and everything connected to him

63. Writing Lucinda as a supporting character rather than protagonist

64. Screwing up Jade's storyline about being Rose's daughter

65. Firing Hunt Block

I can think of 100 more, but that's enough for now. Hopefully, I didn't repeat what was already posted.

Yeah, Lucinda is hardly back... quite the contrary. I'd rather see Lucinda on the backburner than see her character destroyed too. I mean.... at AMC with McTavish sure Brooke was on the backburner her whole tenure until she left the show. It was almost a blessing, at least Brooke's character wasn't ruined in the process ;)

Every female on ATWT has been dumbed down and destroyed. Just look at Lily, Carly, Emily and Barbara for prime examples. I was watching a bunch of clips on you tube from that Cabot/James Stenbeck storyline in early 2005.... at the time I kind of thought ok this is stretching it Hogan but compared to what Jean is pumping out that was amazing. That is back when Barbara was still a major focus. Rosanna working with James to get Barbara out of going to prison. Barbara is like why would this witch Rosanna wanna help me

Barbara :(

66. Bringing on the most compelling heroine I've seen in daytime in YEARS (Marie Wilson's Meg) and proceeding to decimate the character.

67. Lucking out with the wonderful Jenn Landon and the multi-faceted, layered Gwen, then JP up & makes her totally one dimensional and dull.

67.If she stays any longer the show will be cancelled. Seriously she's driving it into the ground.

68.The show has somewhat turned into a joke. Cleo, that wacky anniversary episode, her entire tenure at ATWT is one big joke.

69.Cuz Irna would so fire her in a second.

70.Where's Ben?

71.Missed the boat with making Jade one heck of a vixen.

    • A proper recast for Alex, who pulls the strings behind the scenes (and doesnt HATE Amanda like MarjAlex did) would be great..at that point I see her having her fingers in the pie just to make sure it all doesnt go to hell. My rival for Phillip would be my fan fiction of a kid of Ed and Ritas. Somehow Roger got a hold of him, made him think he was Alan's kid ( I would think Rita would push him as someone who could get a piece of the Spaulding) and secretly raised him to HATE Spaulding and work to take them all down...of course the truth comes out that he is Ed's kid, so we have a "bad" Bauer who is Phillip's match, and Rick is stuck in the middle trying to make a relationship with the brother who HATEs his best bud.
    • Does anyone know what happened to her post-RH? She seemed to evaporate after she left the show. Which is why I can believe she said negative things about the show--maybe it got her labeled as "difificult?" I thought she was a very good actress. I liked her performance as Siobhan. She had really good chemistry with Michael Levin. IMO, they were a bit gutless not to go for a Jack/Siobhan romance after Mary was killed off.
    • You might be going crazy and overthinking, because that's not how it goes.  Right now, it's the Hamiltons versus the Richardsons in the openings, with Alex Alegria/Buglioli/Ben Gavin with the Richardsons (Opening B), while Jen Jacob is with the Hamiltons (Opening A). Opening A: Brandon Claybon Timon Kyle Durrett Marquita Goings Jibre Hordges Jen Jacob Mike Manning RhonniRose Mantilla Arielle Prepetit Opening B: Alex Alegria Lauren Buglioli Sean Freeman Ben Gavin Trisha Mann-Grant Ambyr Michelle Colby Muhammad Keith D. Robinson By your reasoning, the opening should be (and would make zero sense): Opening A: Alex Alegria Lauren Buglioli Brandon Claybon Timon Kyle Durrett Sean Freeman Ben Gavin Marquita Goings Jibre Hordges Opening B: Jen Jacob Trisha Mann-Grant Mike Manning RhonniRose Mantilla Ambry Michelle Colby Muhammad Keith D. Robinson Arielle Prepetit
    • Oh yes, I still remember that. But I'm much kinder to David Henesy than you are overall.
    • I just finished the Locher Room Texas reunion.  I really enjoyed it.  I love that the actors have such fond memories of the time they spent working on Texas and with each other.  It is really special and unique.  Kin was being Kin.  He was moving the camera around or he was constantly moving, at one point he is completely in the dark, then you can't hear him.  lol.  He is like a hyper child.   And as I suspected Alan admitted he has not read Tom Lisanti's book.  It is lazy and unprofessional for him to not have done so before speaking with this group.
    • They were always meant to be short-term, I think - at least Mick and Lou.
    • No it's alphabetical between the two openings - the A-whatever is opening 1 and whatever-Z is opening 2. So in theory, if his last name started with an A, he'd be first in opening 1 and they would have had to remove Maurice (who was in opening 2), which requires edits to both. Unless I'm going crazy haha

    • All depends, really. Whichever opening had Johnson would have had to change; it's not like he was in both openings.
    • Well, it's alphabetical, so they got lucky with the actor's name fitting into place like that. Otherwise, if they stayed alphabetical, they could have had to change both.
