I love the music, it starts off slow and than goes upbeat I think it is very classy, also I still say this is not a cheap opening and must have cost a hell of alot more than the old one to put together, plus this one looks like it will be easy to add/subtract characters when they need to. I think that is why this was delayed in the first place was to add Scott Bryce and the girl playing Alison into the opening.

I just totally love it, I have watched my DVR of it like 10 times and on Youtube another 15 times and I am not exaggerating, and each time I like it even more, I can't wait until tomorrow to see another version if there is another one.

ETA: My Mom also loves it

The music is awful. LOL

However, the logo rocks.

I do like the shot of NuAlison. She's growing on me.

I didn't like how 3 hot women (Carly, Katie, Meg) were all in the background. I'd rather see them in the front. :)

Ugh, I hate the opening, the music makes the show out to be some teeny reality show, that would air on MTV. It just doesn't scream daytime drama to me. Overall, the cast looks majorly depressed, would it have killed them all to at least crack something resembling a smile? Oh, and Van is looking mighty cute, I wish he'd wear his hair like that often.

Eh...I think it's a bit strange lol....

Why isn't Katie with Brad? I found that odd. Luke and Ali? Again odd.

Needless to say, I can't stand Dusty in myEm's shot lol....

And where is Paul? Replace Dusty with Paul and I might like it more LOL (biased :) )

Vienna's only recurring.

I was suprised they didn't put Susan in the front and Alison in the background.

Yes, I am troubled with the reasoning behind putting Meg and Brad together...but...Luke and Alison?

Oh...and can anyone tell what the scene is to the left of the Ali/Luke shot? I can't make it out.

I was expecting a sh-t opening but I think this one bulldozes the previous one to the ground! :o I really like the music. The shots kinda look all cut-and-paste but the overal idea is good. I'm also going WTF with the people they paired up with each show but that can easily be fixed in the future.

Austin Peck's show made me LOL. He does look confused! Haha.

It's nothing great. I don't like how people are paired with other people. What happens when the storyline ends (ie, Dusty and Emily)? The characters will be in different storylines, likely, and they're still stuck together in the opening. And then you have random pairings (Alison and Luke? Brad and Meg?). And I'm completely confused on the cornfield theme. At first, I thought they would transition from a cornfield, to rain or snow, and then sunshine, etc.

Whatever...

    • She did have a thing with him in the late '90s, before she inexplicably disappeared with no mention as to why, although I can't remember if they had sex.
    • I don't believe she did. She did sleep with Simon, believing he was a Spaulding.
    • -- If I ever get sick, please don't send me to Garland Memorial. That hospital is a YIKES. -- Soooo much activity around the main nurses' desk. Do they move dead people on a gurney past that desk, too? -- 8 months for Bill to recover from a "small stroke"? Uh....I don't think so. Is anyone researching this stuff? The hospital stuff is not coming off as realistic. -- It's good that Derek and Ashley are being integrated into other stories, but it's a real stretch to say Leslie was "stalking" Ashley. It makes Derek seem dumber than we already think he is. -- Ashley spends a lot of time having small talk while she's at work. -- Chelsea is embarrassing. Period. -- Tomas is supposed to pick up the slack for Bill, but he has time to have worthless conversations with Leslie? OK then. -- Kat is destroying the case against Leslie, but that's clearly the way to keep Leslie on the canvas.
    • 6-3   I almost let my system just delete the episode just like with B&B. I am now questioning if I should have. lol.   I just can't believe that Cole sat there and started to get sick and then only Victoria off and ran off and everyone basically went back to what they were doing at Nikki's birthday party. Cole was too much of a vet character for that. And now story back off-screen.   I did chuckle at how much Victor pay Kyle dust. And now Kyle with this deal and a promise to leave town if he hurts Claire. smh. As if Victor isn't going to make that happen.   It was lovely to see Ashley. And actually (misdressed and all) Abby.    And I liked Claire's dress.
    • Oh. That. I pretend that never happened.

I did think of another possibility. Did India ever sleep with Alan? They kind of toyed with pairing them up, but I'm not sure they ever became lovers.
    • While I do love the chaotic energy that is Kat vs Lesile, it is a bit extra. Sheltered, virginal Kat who plays it safe from her man to her wardrobe understands that Leslie is dangerous, but she's out here showing up everywhere and anywhere that Lesile is to be found and actively going to places where she is alone? I mean Kat doesn't even act a little afraid or intimidated by Leslie. Meanwhile, big Ole Derek out here begging for his and Ashley's life to Jacob.  As for Dani, I didn't see it that way. Dani and Bill were together for 30 years and shared a family. I believe there was real love there at one point. Bill is still an ass and Dani is still crazy, but realizing she may lose him and her daughter's may lose their dad definitely struck a chord.
    • Funny I randomly saw Kami’s lengthy post about the 44th anniversary of the Walton’s finale last week pop up in my news feed on Facebook. A few inaccuracies to her post but overall it was pretty insightful and interesting to read.
    • Well, depending on rewrites...Jennifer Richards potentially slept with Brandon and Alan. It does feel like we're forgetting someone, but then again, maybe I'm confusing that with brothers, which would include a lot more.
    • Maybe it’s me, and the fact that RC isn’t at the helm, but since Cwikly and Ford have taken over I’ve noticed the show doing a lot of things differently directing wise, and since the storyline of John’s demise began, the show has been using different scores, and dare I say better ones than this time last year. It’s interesting and I wonder if the any of it is Noel Maxam’s influence before being promoted.
    • I think Nicole is about to figure out what's going on between Andre and Dani.
