He praised how much he enjoyed writing those episodes. I don't remember him ever praising the actual decision.

I could be wrong though. But I thought it was more about the ripple effect it had, how he got to mix so many characters at the hospital, how it played out over the next few months, had so many different emotions to explore.

He's also said he hated the Colson story, but loved writing those episodes for similar reasons.

It's my favorite too. I couldnt get over the Wilson Philips version when I first heard it.

Nah...its not you. You know that. You are cool. I have no problems with you. :)

Yup...some people are stupid. They dont know what a good thing they have until it's too late.

I think you know what I mean. When a show is going well (like OLTL seems to be, and I am a HUUUUUUGE fan), anyone who legitimately doesn't see "IT", and is a longtime viewer of "the competition" gets a big kick in the ass. Nasty and uncalled for, because it can change on a dime. Just be nicer to us OLTL fans when ATWT is carryng the "best soap" torch in six months.

ETA: What I mean is, nicer than most of US are to YOU.

I doubt it lol. Dude was 50 something and Jebby is only and married. He was so drunk by the time I got their that he could barely walk and threw up on the sidewalk. And the only thing she could say was "I didn't know the rules" when I've told her at least 18 times before and after I hired her.

Oh come on! Any time you say anything negative about our emmy WINNER, I see how you are treated. I like him, He legitimately won an emmy for best wrting, imo, but he's not GOD.

Sadly I see him as the best there is, for now, and I emphasize "sadly"

If Pissant were to recieve a little shot of epinephrine, she might do as well.

    • She did have a thing with him in the late '90s, before she inexplicably disappeared with no mention as to why, although I can't remember if they had sex.
    • I don't believe she did. She did sleep with Simon, believing he was a Spaulding.
    • -- If I ever get sick, please don't send me to Garland Memorial. That hospital is a YIKES. -- Soooo much activity around the main nurses' desk. Do they move dead people on a gurney past that desk, too? -- 8 months for Bill to recover from a "small stroke"? Uh....I don't think so. Is anyone researching this stuff? The hospital stuff is not coming off as realistic. -- It's good that Derek and Ashley are being integrated into other stories, but it's a real stretch to say Leslie was "stalking" Ashley. It makes Derek seem dumber than we already think he is. -- Ashley spends a lot of time having small talk while she's at work. -- Chelsea is embarrassing. Period. -- Tomas is supposed to pick up the slack for Bill, but he has time to have worthless conversations with Leslie? OK then. -- Kat is destroying the case against Leslie, but that's clearly the way to keep Leslie on the canvas.
    • 6-3   I almost let my system just delete the episode just like with B&B. I am now questioning if I should have. lol.   I just can't believe that Cole sat there and started to get sick and then only Victoria off and ran off and everyone basically went back to what they were doing at Nikki's birthday party. Cole was too much of a vet character for that. And now story back off-screen.   I did chuckle at how much Victor pay Kyle dust. And now Kyle with this deal and a promise to leave town if he hurts Claire. smh. As if Victor isn't going to make that happen.   It was lovely to see Ashley. And actually (misdressed and all) Abby.    And I liked Claire's dress.
    • Oh. That. I pretend that never happened.

I did think of another possibility. Did India ever sleep with Alan? They kind of toyed with pairing them up, but I'm not sure they ever became lovers.
    • While I do love the chaotic energy that is Kat vs Lesile, it is a bit extra. Sheltered, virginal Kat who plays it safe from her man to her wardrobe understands that Leslie is dangerous, but she's out here showing up everywhere and anywhere that Lesile is to be found and actively going to places where she is alone? I mean Kat doesn't even act a little afraid or intimidated by Leslie. Meanwhile, big Ole Derek out here begging for his and Ashley's life to Jacob.  As for Dani, I didn't see it that way. Dani and Bill were together for 30 years and shared a family. I believe there was real love there at one point. Bill is still an ass and Dani is still crazy, but realizing she may lose him and her daughter's may lose their dad definitely struck a chord.
    • Funny I randomly saw Kami’s lengthy post about the 44th anniversary of the Walton’s finale last week pop up in my news feed on Facebook. A few inaccuracies to her post but overall it was pretty insightful and interesting to read.
    • Well, depending on rewrites...Jennifer Richards potentially slept with Brandon and Alan. It does feel like we're forgetting someone, but then again, maybe I'm confusing that with brothers, which would include a lot more.
    • Maybe it’s me, and the fact that RC isn’t at the helm, but since Cwikly and Ford have taken over I’ve noticed the show doing a lot of things differently directing wise, and since the storyline of John’s demise began, the show has been using different scores, and dare I say better ones than this time last year. It’s interesting and I wonder if the any of it is Noel Maxam’s influence before being promoted.
    • I think Nicole is about to figure out what's going on between Andre and Dani.
