Thanks Shawn for posting! The kid is saying the word "Blood", right? That is rather amusing and the little kid seems so concerned. Actor87- I'm sorry you're having a tough time. I hope everything will be okay! :)

Yesterday, I decided to go outdoors since we had pretty decent weather plus I wanted to drink a couple of beers and I was CRAVING for a Reuben Sandwich with no 1000 Island add spicy mustard and extra saurkraut. I cannot wait until Spring arrives. It would just be nice to lay out in the sun drinking alcohol and swimming in the pool.

GOOD NEWS!!! A company just called me and was quite impressed with my resume! Of course, I wouldn't blame them because it is quite impeccable! So, you guys wish me luck tomorrow at 4:00 p.m. and think of me! ;)

My cell died today. RIP my darling SX1... If SiemensMobile wouldn't be bankrupted/gone for forever I would them have it repair even though it is 5 years old.

Of course today was my first of my traineeship - which started off very nicely - and I'm quite far away from home for the next 4 weeks. So I had to drive to TWO T Mobile shops to get a new cell that I didn't directly hate (Who wants Motorola or Samsung which are horrific in terms of quality or ugly cells from Nokia?). Too bad I-Phone is not out with Vers. 2 yet but I have to keep my money together anyway because the next couple of weeks are gonna get pricey so...

Overall, a good new bad news day.

Great! I've got more drama going on with my family. Well, I'm glad this guy is not related to me but he's the father of my two nieces whom I both love very much, but this man is such a loser. He's wanted in Virginia for doing a couple of things and from what my niece told me, the sherriffs arrived on the scene during her grandmother's funeral. He's hiding out somewhere in North Carolina, but he calls her this morning and says that he has to move his things out ASAP because he's in trouble of some sort. I dunno. I don't associate myself with such vile trash, so one thing is going through one ear and leaving out the other.

However, I do have a problem with him affecting both of my niece's livelihoods. One niece is coming close to getting her house foreclosed with three children of her own and the other niece only has so much money because she's in college, so WTF? It just pisses me off.

But-- I'm preparing for the job interview today and doing a couple of practice sessions lol. The Director of Operations for this same company would like to schedule me for an interview next week as soon as he gets back from Canada. I'm just a hot commodity- what else can I say?

I'm feeling kind of down today. Forgive me for my mood. :(

"Sometimes You Leave"

All the raindrops

In the sky tonight

Can't compare with all the pain

And all the tears I've cried

But now I'm done

All the make believe

Locked in this picture frame

Is gonna stay behind

Along with all the burning rage

That's been tearing through my heart

It killing me slowly

Every beat, I was falling apart

Sometimes you give

Sometimes they take

Sometimes you bend

And sometimes they break you down

Sometimes you stick around

Trying to change them

Make them someone that they'll never be

And sometimes you leave

All this time I've spent

Staring at the door

I never had the strength

To pack my bags and leave before

But now I'm done

Lying to myself when it's clear

That you're not that one

Sometimes you give

Sometimes they take

Sometimes you bend

And sometimes they break you down

Sometimes you stick around

Trying to change them

Make them someone that they'll never be

And sometimes you leave

When there's nothing left

For me to leave behind

And you're already too far gone

To say goodbye

Sometimes you give

Sometimes they take

Sometimes you bend

And sometimes they break you down

Sometimes you stick around

Trying to change them

Make them someone that they'll never be

And sometimes you leave

Sometimes you leave....

Indeed... And a Virgo, too. What a seemingly contradictory statement... :P

I'm writing these bizarre posts and I don't know what's gotten into me...  Like that time (and it happened once or twice, I believe) when I quoted myself here on SON...

    • What Dan Curtis never seemed to understand -- and what Art Wallace knew from the get-go -- is that a slow, suspenseful build-up creates a far more satisfying episode than the constant "cliffhangers" that never amounted to much.  ("I'm going to kiillll you, Julia!" before every commercial break, lol.)

    • Watch and form your own point of view; even in its flaws, this soap is soaping.
    • The show is excellent in my opinion.  There are a couple of less-than-stellar actors and a couple of bad storylines, but otherwise it's awesome and I watch many of the episodes twice.  However, episode #55 from May 19 was really bad, which is where you popped into the thread, but it was the *first* really bad episode.  So 54 great episodes out of a total of 55 episodes is pretty good, in my opinion!  I haven't seen today (#56) yet, but I hear it's good.  Will watch in a couple of hours.
    • LOL!  Yes, very much so.  Better episode today than yesterday. TMG really is a gift.
    • Hopeful that Tracy can prove her innocence

    • I remember this being in the soap press at the time, they were going to be focused on rebuilding the Bauers, Reardons and Spauldings..and we saw they kind of just created a new Reardon (Chelsea when Nola was always supposed to be the youngest) a new Bauer with an offshoot of the main family,(Johnny) so I am sure they were going to do the same with Alan. New writers may have changed all that..(Long later brought  back Amanda for the Christmas episodes...leading into Alex/Phillip dethroning Alan.) I thought Poser should play an different character then Amanda...maybe an adopted daughter. We know Alan had a woman who he lived with in San Rios, they could have had her die and to pay her back for saving his life he adopts her daughter and trains her in all the ways to be a Spaulding. He pays a debt and he has a secret weapon to unleash on the family when he needed to so he keeps in his back pocket.

date: Tuesday, May 20 | Ron Carlivati, Cheryl L. Davis | Shelley Curtis Pack up your crap, Derek. And take that hideous chair with you, but don't throw out the food! We know you have a particular habit of doing that. Anita being nervous about Tracey's arrival is cute, and I love that Vernon joined her. I'm just hoping Sharon will join them soon. Tomas and Eva keep getting ... teased! I appreciate him filling her in on what happened with Dana and Katherine. Dana, what in the world are you working at?! If I saw you with your evil smiles in my hospital room as I woke up, I'd be questioning what nightmare I was existing within. I appreciate the continued evolution of Tomas' backstory and where he's come from. It sounds familiar to what I've heard from others, so it's nice that true history can be nodded to. Derek, there is no way in Hell Jacob and/or Naomi want your stank-gross behind crashing on their couch. Katherine better be careful; she keeps intercepting Dana at all of these places, and if she is not careful, she may become the primary target of her plans. Dante Greene? Is he the Barry Gordy Jnr of the story? I appreciate that Tracy has some genuine feelings towards Anita and their past history. But I appreciate that she is at least open-minded to reuniting with Anita on a personal basis; it'll be interesting to see how Sharon reacts when she arrives (I am guessing). Not the wig washing. Dana's personalities and wigs must be an ongoing gag. But good on Eva for calling her out about being falsely accused of running Laura off of the road. I've said it once, and I will say it again: Katherine should be a detective, because her instincts are sharper than sharp. Notes: Can we stop having the male actors on this show sitting on tables? It's such a pet peeve of mine. Like, chairs exist for your backside to sit on, not tables where we EAT! The top they have Tamara Tunie (Anita) in would annoy the frick out of me if that flower kept hitting me in my chin. I'd be pulling that crap off immediately.
