Isn't it funny that sometimes life doesn't work out as you imagined/planed, but in the end, you're happier than you ever expected? It's nice to have someone who appreciates me for me, with all my complexities and flaws, thought I never thought much of this person initially. Life and the one person who "gets" you has no rhyme or reason, it just happens sometimes.

I seriously need to do my profile on MySpace, but I'm too lazy. So far, I've put some pictures of my family but I have no pictures of myself. Surprisingly, I've "reconnected" with some of my old high school classmates. However, I found it weird that an old high school classmate felt compelled to tell me that he was in prison for a year back in 2006/07. Not that he was proud of it or anything, but I don't know of anybody in my life who actually shares something like that. I'm not a snob- I just think it's weird.

Have you guys ever broke up a friendship with someone that was close to you because you felt in the longrun that it was better for you? I did that back in the year of 2002 and then all of a sudden, I get an e-mail on MySpace from the destructive person who just wanted to say hello to me and its been 6 years. I find it odd how so many years have passed by and how this person STILL wants to be in contact with me. I still want nothing to do with him and haven't replied back of course, but I begin to ponder what goes through another person's mind. Like- why can't you just let go? Our friendship is over and done with.

    • Leslie's outfit is giving evil Foxy Brown/Coffy energy. She's only drawing more attention to herself by going around trying to imply that Eva caused the accident. Also, I feel like Laura was slightly clueless and not acting afraid enough. She has never seen Leslie before so it seems like a more frightened reaction was an order considering a stranger randomly showed up in her room.

Noted for starring roles in blaxploitation films, he was also an original cast member of ABC's soap opera One Life to Live from its premiere in 1968 until he left the show in 1970. Born in Miami, Florida and a graduate of the University of Redlands, he appeared in many films and made guest appearances on television shows. He also attended some classes at Shaw University, a historically black university in Raleigh, North Carolina in the late 1970s. Notable blaxploitation film roles include Sidney Lord Jones in "Cool Breeze" (1972), Dr. Gordon Thomas in "Blacula" (1972) and Robert Daniels in "Willie Dynamite" (1974); he also was the assistant director of "The Slams" (1973). On television, he was known as Skeeter Matthews on "Sanford and Son", Ned in "The Autobiography of Miss Jane Pittman", Lt. Jack Neal on "One Life to Live", Bill Thomas (Raj and Dee's father) on "What's Happening!", and Omoro Kinte (Kunta Kinte's father) in "Roots". He also appeared on the first-season episode of "Saturday Night Live" hosted by Richard Pryor, as a priest in the "Exorcist II" sketch. On the Broadway stage, under his original name Jack Crowder, Rasulala appeared as Cornelius Hackl in the hit musical "Hello, Dolly!". He was a leading member of the all-black cast that starred Pearl Bailey and Cab Calloway. The Bailey company opened on Broadway on November 12, 1967 and was recorded by RCA Victor for a best-selling cast album in which Rasulala is featured in several songs. He also appeared on "Perry Mason", "Mannix", "The Twilight Zone", "All in the Family", "The Jeffersons", "Good Times", "Star Trek: The Next Generation" and "The Sophisticated Gents". His film roles include "Cornbread, Earl and Me" (1975), "Mr. Ricco" (1975), "Bucktown" (1975), "The Last Hard Men" (1976), "For Us the Living: The Medgar Evers Story" (1983), "The Boss' Wife" (1986), and "New Jack City" (1991). Mr. Rasulala died of a heart attack on October 9, 1991, in Albuquerque, New Mexico. His last film role was as General Afir in "Mom and Dad Save the World". He died shortly after completing his scenes, and the film, released a year after his death, is dedicated to his memory. He died two days before actor Redd Foxx, who also died of a heart attack and with whom he guest-starred on Sanford & Son.       LAST BLAST CREW     CHADWICK HOPSON   LA COLOMBIANA     Voice of Diego (E)   2017 DAYS OF OUR LIVES: THE LAST BLAST REUNION    Kevin Lambert     2019-20 DAYS OF OUR LIVES     Kevin Lambert     May 2025 and THE UPSIDE OF DOWN       Ryan        2013 ADOPTED       Joey Carpenter     2013 FRIENDLY ADVICE       Cam     2013; 2014; 2015; 2018; 2020 movies SOLE     Tucker    (Made for T. • Such a good interview. Looking forward to Ernestine interview.
    • Definitely. It's not bad at all, but yesterday was just an anomaly considering we haven't had an episode that bad before.
    • I caught most of the episodes during that time period.   Subsequently Bell or Alden (I forget which) revealed that Peggy's rape story was done for strategic ratings purposes.  Chris's rape had occurred earlier, before the show really caught on & was near the middle or the lower end of the ratings.  Bell had been pleased with the concept and wanted the rape story to play-out for a much larger audience.  By the 1975-1976 season, the show was near the top of the ratings and was extremely popular among high school & college kids.  He felt the time was right to re-tell the story.   When I was watching in 1976, I didn't find it especially "cruel" that lightning had struck twice in the Brooks family.  I felt it was more of a continuation of Chris's storyline, giving her a chance to continue dealing with the trauma of her own rape.
    • Dan being de facto HW explains a lot. It's clear the show changed direction on a dime according to his interests or whims.
    • Really enjoyed today's episode the whole way through. Having Drew and Nina as red carpet hosts was a brilliant move. You could really see Cameron Mathison channeling his own experiences as a TV host for shows like Entertainment Tonight, but putting a more sinister spin on the host's glib patter. And Cynthia Watros gave some amazing reaction shots during Drew's interactions with people like Carly, Joss, and Willow.  I also really liked the Alexis/Kristina scenes. I know a lot of us find Kristina exasperating, and she is, but Kate Mansi and Nancy Lee Grahn do a great job of portraying a very real dysfunctional mother/daughter dynamic.
    • The episode she got killed off in - which made Wendy a prime suspect in her murder (her car was spotted outside the house) and then Wendy mysteriously disappeared from town.
