You're kidding right? There are so many characters on Y&R that hasn't and won't pay for the things they have done in the past. Do you think Victor is gonna pay for having a man locked in his basement? DO you think Jack is gonna really pay for secretly owning Jabot and tricking his father into changing his will. Is Kay gonna pay for the baby switch? JT still hasn't paid for leaving a drunk Billy in the snow to die.

Serious as a heart attack.

Mhm.

Point proven. No need for further discussion.

What does Victor have to do with Phyllis, Kevin, Gloria or Michael?

Something which is ONLY a DIRECT RESULT of Gloria's shenanigans.

Which pretty much cancels out anything Jack did in the aftermath (no matter how OOC).

Terrible retcon & horrendously OOC.

And yet & still, what does Katherine have to do with Phyllis, Kevin Gloria or Michael?

Oh but he has. He had that thrown in his face several times, least of which was Michael.

But once again it's ok for Phyllis (or Gloria, or Michael or Kevin) to rape, drug, maim, steal, lie, cheat, kill and do whatever their sociopathic ass(es) choose to do cause they're "kewl".

The majority of Phyllis "fans" can't even discuss the character within context without tryin to invoke moral relativism to make their character's triflin ass look better by association.

Here's the cover story. Thanks to OceanView at the Cadrian site! :)

ALL FALL DOWN!

It's a Literal Cliff-hanger On Y&R For Sharon And Dru

For weeks, conniving Phyllis has been threatening to expose Sharon and Brad's one-time affair. So Sharon, the spokesmodel for NVP, is less than thrilled when she finds out that Phyllis will be present for her photo shoot. "Sharon just can't shake Phyllis," groans Sharon Case. "Phyllis just seems to be around every corner Sharon turns."

As usual, the gals start butting heads - this time over what Sharon should wear for the shoot. "This is after the wardrobe had already been approved by Jack," notes SC. "It comes down to just the color. Jack had approved a beautiful, long white gown and Phyllis wants red. There's nothing wrong with that choice, it's just Sharon doesn't like Phyllis interfering."

Later, a frustrated Sharon runs into Brad in the break room, where he tries to convince her not to marry Jack. "Brad tells her that Jack isn't good enough for her," says SC. But their little chat is overheard by Phyllis, who is irked by Brad's comment.

At the photo shoot, Phyllis informs the photographer that the white dress for Sharon is out. When Sharon and Dru arrive, the former is furious about the switcheroo. "Dru is mad, too," explains SC. "She already went to the higher-ups and had the wardrobe approved. Phyllis doesn't even really have the authority to change things at this point, but she goes ahead and does it anyway."

Phyllis sticks it to Sharon even more by adding a last-minute prop: a room service display reminiscent of the one that Brad and Sharon shared during their romp at a NY hotel. A fed-up Dru defends Sharon and that's when Phyllis realizes that Dru knows about the blackmail. "I don't know why it should be so surprising," sniffs SC. "Phyllis knows they're close friends, but she still gets really upset about it."

Just as Daniel and Lily show up, Phyllis threatens to call Jack and blab about the affair. She even whips out her cell phone - but Sharon is not about to let Phyllis make her call. "Sharon leaps forward and starts to struggle over the phone with Phyllis," SC previews. "Dru sees that and tries to help Sharon by running interference. So now they're all three trying to fight over the phone. Then somebody lets go..."

Phyllis falls, causing Sharon and Dru to also lose their balance and tumble back - over the cliff. "It just happens so fast," sighs Michelle Stafford. "It's unbelievable and everyone just starts screaming."

Phyllis, Lily and Daniel yell out Sharon and Dru's names and hear someone crying for help. "Sharon is clinging to a branch on the side of the cliff," says SC. "She's hanging there in the red gown and high heels! But no one can see Dru because she's apparently fell straight down to the river below."

As Sharon desperately holds on to the branch with both hands, Daniel urges her to let go with one hand so she can grab on to someone. And guess who that someone is? "Phyllis goes into rescue mode," MS says. "At this point, she's only thinking of saving Sharon. What happened wasn't intentional. Phyllis didn't want anything bad to happen to Sharon and Dru."

Sharon is reluctant to literally put her life in Phyllis' hands, but she begins to lose her grip and doesn't have a choice. "During these scenes I was hanging there by my own weight and I couldn't last more than a minute," admits SC. "I can understand now how really hard it would be for someone to keep hold in that situation. You just can't hang there for that long."

Sharon reaches for Phyllis, who grabs her hand. But Sharon's grip slips and she plummets into the darkness. "It's just horrible," says MS.

By the time Neil and Jack rush to the scene, rescue workers are already searching for Dru and Sharon. After Neil blames Phyllis for what happened, Officer Maggie informs the families that the river could have carried both women over the falls.

"The situation looks really bleak," says SC. And it gets bleaker when Sharon is determined dead from hypothermia. As for Dru? Her status changes when the mission is switched from search and rescue to search and recovery.

I love me some Phyllis but DAYUM...How she gonna get outta this mess.....I can also picture Sharon in this long red gown dangling all over the edge.

To be honest, I don't see how Nick can NOT rage on Phyllis for what will happen....there's no way he can't be affected by what will happen to Sharon.

I can't begin to tell you how upset I am over this and I'm usually more casual about changing storylines. The last time I was this tweaked over a plot point was Tammy's death on GL. Damn you, Phyllis! You blackmailing cow! Who does this scandalous social terrorist think she is, holding Sharon hostage to her secret and now being responsible for two deaths? Poor Dru and Sharon.

When you mess around with fire an threaten to flame people, they get burned you shrew! Phyllis is all about herself, deviant woman. Her horns sprout out like big dumbo ears.

Die a thousand miserable deaths you fire breathing dragon. I hope her firecrotch explodes and she goes click Kaboom! This b*tch better go down- HARD.

I was reading the new SOD at the store. Dru goes out in style, with her favorite accessory on: a hat! LOL.

Sharon is wearing a brown overcoat and her hair is down, but you can see her dress.

It looks like Dru just free falls. Sharon is holding on by the side of the cliff.

Victoria Rowell gives an "exclusive" interview as to why she left. She says LML is a good writer. *cough cough; bullshit stuck in my throat*

In SID, Victoria says she's angry she's got 11 NACCP awards, but not one Emmy.

As for Phyllis, oooooooooooh, I hate her! HATE HER!

Her cast is obviously jealous of her, robbing her a Pre-Nom for three years in a row. She manages to do film, tv and Y&R at the same time and is more loyal that most. Reading her exit interview where she talks about all the work she puts in made me devastated. She truly is a Y&R icon.

As for the exit, it doesn't make any sense! If Dru is presumed dead, why the hell would she abandon her family?! She hasn't done anything wrong, isn't running from anything, so why?! So it's either really bad writing or Dru is really dead.

So true! A copy of Malcolm's exit, like everything on this show. A poorly done rehash of everything thats been done before. Thats why I am so quick to mention the past storylines and characters because the current stories demand it! Unfortunately these crackhead writers don't see that.

I read that TV GUIDE said they asked Sabrina Genet to return, but for what? Nina (who should be around) is away, Megan is gone, Tony/Ryan are obviously gone and I dread seeing her with this watered down Victoria. Sad thing is, it COULD work if Nina were in town, but it's all a fantasy.

This is their way to appease us wanting old characters, but she will be a one note villian with no rhyme or reason.
