Well I didn't want to give this show a chance bc I already watch enough TV and I'm usually out on Thursday nights. But I taped and watched...and I thought it was sorta corny and at times ridiculous. But I actually have to admit I still liked it....

Laura Prepon looks HOT. I've really only seen her in That 70's Show and she just had to look different for that role. Anyway I love the lighter hair and she just looks great. The male lead is pretty f'ing cute too, I have to admit.

I liked it. :) LOL I know a ton of guys like that who are grown ups, but still not grown up. Hehe. I'll watch again next week. I just hope they don't drag the whole Sam being his son thing out. I mean, it's like WHOA obvious.

I'm not sure....it may not reair until this summer.

You may want to check the videos at abc.com .

I know sometimes they post episodes on there after they first air to watch for free. I know they do it with DH, but I think they also do it with some other shows. I'm not sure about October Road though.

I liked the first episode.

The only problem I had was that the music seemed from the wrong era. Did high school kids in the 1990s really listen to 1970s rock? I thought the joke about burning REO Speedwagon records was really out of place.

Other than that, it was a good show.

It was OK. I definitely agree with the cheesey comment. And the casting was...I don't know. The townies were a little too townie. I don't know. The show has a really good framework, but I think it needs retooling. It reminds me of What About Brian in that sense.

I graduated in 1997 and my friends and I did

The Allman Brothers, Fleetwood Mac, Pink Floyd, The Doors, The Doobie Brothers, The Eagles, Kansas, The Who, Steve Miller Band along with Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, Candlebox, Everclear, Red Hot Chili Peppers etc

But of course it could have been the crowd I hung with ;)

    • It's so jarring seeing the changeover from Sherry Mathis to Louan Gideon.  The vibe, mannerisms, and overall personality of Liza changes instantly. The chemistry Sherry has with both David F and Joe Lambie is gone the second the recast happens.  I wonder how viewers took the news of the recast since you didn't have time in between airings before the change happened. Quinn/Sarah... One overacts (Quinn) and one under acts (Sarah). Wendy of 1985 is a good mix of the 1982 sweet Wendy and the 1983/84 vixenish Wendy.
    • Oups!! I guess when i was doing the editing, i left a part of 3169, too (RTL Lounge airs 2 episodes per day back to back). Sorry about that ! Tonight i ll try to record 3171-3172. If i m not mistaken 3172 is missing from YouTube.

    • I would put Felicia in the 'small dose' auntie category because she means well, but comes on too strongly at times.  In small doses, she would be a blast to hang out with.. but in anything larger than a small... she would be exhausting. I tend to prefer lower key people than people that are always 'on' all the time.  Those people can veer off into energy vampire status pretty quickly.
    • I didn't like the Harry story, but Nazar did have a great introduction. He was probably the highlight of last year.  Now that you mention it, I guess the truly dire stories (Nicole, Harper/Drew/Phil, Nicole) didn't start until summer.
    • thank you all for contributing to the Vault. I am slowly getting towards watching the 1998 episodes

    • I pray⏤and I know it's a big prayer⏤that Noel Maxam is somehow able to figure things out budget-wise so we can stop re-dressing existing sets as "new" sets. I know in apartment buildings apartments can generally look the same, but I'm over it on this soap. The last time he was executive producer was in 2011 when the original Horton Town Square was introduced, and we had some other sets get introduced around this time (likely pre-commissioned prior to his election), but I'm trying to have some hope he can pull this off. Let's [finally] see it.
    • Definitely not the best of RC's breakdowns. I don't know what it says that I could pick up his trademarks yesterday 30 minutes in without even knowing that he did one. There was something more...quirky/boardstroked...about Dani. Though I love the Dani/Nicole scenes, she was just a little too hip?...which made me think back to the episode when she broke into Bill/Hayley's house. Then watching the episode later on, I saw Hayley was being used as a punchline to the more interesting and relevant Bill/Ted scenes (see you all were just talking about how you hoped they got scenes...one thing this show is great at...what people want on this board...they already have the foresight for it. The reason I feel the DNA test will get mentioned @Cheap21 in more detail). And then poor Anita reduced for the most part propping up an album.    Needless to say, not my favorite RC episode. And since we are in aftermath week, I just smh. And barely worth a rewatch. BUT...was there good for me?    Yes. Thankfully, we still got good aftermath beats regardless of the breakdown.   Like I said, I really like the Dani/Nicole scenes. But I love their dynamic. And I was looking forward to the shoe being on the other foot once the SilkPress storyline hit climax. Quirks aside, it did not disappoint. Dani came in, and she came in fierce for her sister. I loved her attacking Eva. And then her being surprisingly introspective about Nicole due to her own experience. No wonder Nicole reacted to her being self-aware. So did I.    Meanwhile Bill and Ted finally met up. I'm kinda sad that we did not get that sooner given the scenes that played out sidepiece in the background aside. It might have been interesting to see more of their status as non-Duprees coming into the family explored.    And of course I can't leave without mentioning Eva vs SilkPress Sheila which was the highlight. Both of them were giving. And SilkPress was just so cold with it. I did love that Eva finally stopped letting her gaslight her. Sad to see the duo break up. But I did love that she went to Ted. So...the next turn begins.   And speaking of turns...uh oh at Kat and Tomas. I'm sure he won't be staying away from her. So most definitely, Kat vs Eva ain't over. It will be interesting to see how it goes now that most people know that Kat was right all along.
    • Nah I enjoyed it much more last year because of the Harry plot that ended during that time. Nazar being introduced and them. But this time it is so lame and nothing I like forward to anymore and I’m one of them long time fans. Of course I would be upset if they would cancel it but maybe take a year off or two and return refreshed
