Oh.My.God. I was so HOPING to see Cristian and Blair make out, but never in my wildest dreams did I expect to see it today :)

HOT. HOT. HOT. HOT. HOT. HOT. HOT.

I love it!

So glad that Nelly Furtado sang "Say It Right," since it's the only song by her that I can stand.

You have to be kidding me?!?! I posted here during the show, and now it's GONE! LOL.

Basically, I was hyperventilating in my usual annoying style about Cristian and Blair. Do you know how hot I thought that was? I have wanted them to hook up for a while, mostly because I know KDP would light a fire under David and get him to step up. Then, when he finally did show some acting talent yesterday (honestly, I don't find him as bad as most do to begin with), I was thinking even more how much I wanted to see a little Blair-Cristian action, but I never thought we would get a kiss today! I loved it: hot, hot, hot, hot, hot!

I loved the way Blair handled things though, sort of flirting but preventing anything serious from happening. And I liked the nice things she said about Evangeline.

Loved Todd and Van today, but don't really want to see them as a couple. Or do I? I might like a Todd/Blair/Van/Cris quad, but only with Todd and Blair as the end result.

Loved Blair being snarky to Marty, just because I don't care for the latter.

So glad Nelly Furtado sang "Say It Right," because it's the only song by her that I can stand. Hate "Promiscuous Girl," which was performed near the end, but glad to see OL get such a hot name for the show.

Nash and Jessica were wonderful, although Jess needs to stop blaming Nash, LOL.

loving this show, and all I really missed today was Ms. Slezak.

I enjoyed this week! LOVED the Bo/Matthew scenes, Clint/Viki, Viki/Todd...Enjoyed seeing Asa busting in on Clint/Viki too!

Enjoyed the McBain brothers and Marcie was so funny today dragging Mikey out of the apt to go see Nelly!

Miles is interesting but I wonder if he's not as "naive" as he seems - even Todd referenced that he's probably hiding something.

Couldn't believe today when Marty asked Miles who he was related to - she has him as a patient and doesn't even know his last name?

This Jess/Nash business is going to get serious and Jess needs to make up her mind what she really wants and who she wants

Overall, I'm enjoying the show a lot more myself.

The best of the week for me was the Viki/Clint and then Asa joining them. I really want to see more of Viki and Clint alone with no one busting them up.

Matthew and Bo were heartbreaking too, but where the heck was Nora??

What is with all the sleeping around on this show, everyone seems to have lost any sense of dignity.

If Miles is just a good guy, then I say next, we don't need any more boring good guys, same with Tate.

Sue me, but I didn't think today's show with Nelly was all that great, in fact I found it all pretty boring. Cris and Blair are fine, but the rest was blah, give me some more Viki/Clint, Viki/Todd/Jess and Viki/Clint/Asa/Bo/Nora

Well, I have to say that I think OLTL has been smokin' lately....and not just because of all the fires in Llanview either. This show has really, really improved and I am excited by it. It is so great to see so many people talking about this show again. It's just great!

I hope it continues! :)

Ok well WTF was Nelly wearing come on now, I know she has a stylist that is better than that. One last thing were was Timberland. LOL I thought she did well.

As for the show I was not impressed with Blair and Cristian and I was expecting so much more but got notta. It was Flat to me. Here is my thing I tolerate Blair more when she is not around Todd. I am no fan of hers but I can stand her when not romantically with Todd.

My Tangeline what can I say Todd was so scared he lost his BF. I love that he wanted to be there for her cause she has always been there for him. He is so Todd. They were flirty and fun to watch and I am so positive someone is reading the board cause some things were address that people were saying on board well that is what I say.

I know some people are having problems with the "Mexicon" part of what Todd speech on several boards but strangely I had no problem with it cause I knew he was trying to get a rise out of Vangie.

Overall the show is getting better I just hope it continues. I like this new co-head writer. I kinda get a strange Jack Smith feel to the show but that is me.

I liked Nelly a lot. I do think it's time for Jess and Nash to move together. OLTL has done this in a very poor and distasteful manner. Antonio and Jessica are a boring couple and always have been. They never should have married. Having everyone sleeping around is a total lack of dignity. I thought the Triangle from Hell was unbearable. OLTL with the Antonio/Jess/Nash thing has created a worse storyline. Right now the character of Jessica is looking very bad and the longer they drag out this indecision, the worse it will be.

This shows a major problem with Higley and Frankie that they just can't get past. They can't make a decision and create a good couple and move forward with it. Frankie can't let go of Antonio and Jessica in spite of the fact they are very unpopular and now both characters are just a joke.

I think Blair is great, but the Cris things really didn't make much sense. I actually thought she and Miles had chemistry. You know, though, if both Blair and Jess are buying into Miles, I fear that he is a bad guy and a couple of my favorities characters once again are being painted as morons. Just for the record, this sobbing Todd turns my stomach.

This was the week that my distrust for OLTL resurfaced. I hope next week I feel better about this show. Much I saw this week told me I'm in for disappointment and once again, no payoff for my investment in stories and charracters.

    • DePriest left in January 1988. According to the AWHP, Rose last appeared nearly a year before in February 1987 while both Sara and Peggy appeared as late as October 1987.
    • Annie was not brought in as an antagonist for Reva. Reva wasn’t even on the canvas when Annie first appeared in late 1994.
    • The speculation……….very entertaining.
    • I had forgotten that several Days stars came out strong against Melissa. Good for them!
    • That would have made sense. Did all these characters get dropped when DePriest left or had they already been dropped?
    • The other issue with Missy: in June 2020, she "liked" some social media posts by Candace Owens -- things Candace said that were against Black Lives Matter.  That is described here https://tvline.com/news/melissa-reeves-racism-days-of-our-lives-instagram-controversy-2894568/ I don't know if that was ever resolved.
    • She appeared onscreen not long after Rose Livingston and Sara Montaigne, and we found out that Sara was Rose's estranged daughter. I wonder whether Peggy might have been part of that family group -- or else they were just juggling a few different potential mysteries so that they could develop whatever seemed to be getting the best response from the audience. They didn't do anything much with Rose and Sara really either. Maybe Rose would have become more prominent if Rachel and Mac had split up over Mitch, or if Sara had really flourished. In some ways I can picture Cheryl being affected by MJ's prostitution similarly to how Josie was distressed by finding out about Sharlene. But I can also see that Josie as a Frame being involved with Matthew would have different stakes for Rachel and Sharlene than Cheryl being involved with Scott. I do think the solution for Cheryl would have had to be a badder boy than Scott -- either a real bad boy who would do her wrong, or the kind of bad boy (not Chad!!!) who is essentially misunderstood and other people just don't understand. Cheryl would also have been better off with some friends her own age. Matthew and Josie benefited a bit from having other teenagers to interact with.
    • Sally Spencer was a decent actress, but the writing destroyed the "M.J." that Kathleen Layman had built. Layman had a quiet strength about her, and she and Osburn really felt like sisters. Spencer's character should have been either an unmentioned sister, or maybe Jake's that grew up close to Kathleen, M.J. and the rest, but was away for a few years before joining the force. Kristen Marie was o.k., but I always got a mousier vibe from her. Being pigeon-holed with Scott for most of the run hurt things for her, as well.  The Loves were also underserved between Rhonda Lewin and Philece Sampler. Philece would have been better as Nicole. Thank goodness Anne Heche  showed up for the next round of auditions. Christopher Holder was mediocre as Peter, but given a shot, I think Marcus Smythe could have stuck around for a while.  I would have had Peggy Lazarus be a Frame -- possibly an ex-wife for Vince with an agenda. Smythe and Hollen had  a fun chemistry that could have kept the two around.. Bringing recasts for  Cheryl and Ben back mixing it up with other Frames. Corys, Lawrences at the time might have kept all the families stronger.
    • shoot...he said in that Locher room with Krista. I think he met her before that---she was doing Broadway and they had mutual friends or an agent maybe?
