ITA. Skye has always loved her family and been a b!tch too, but this is so out of character for her. To basically not care that her dad and sister, who she claims to love so much are being held hostage and she only gives a f.uck about Alcazar is just ridiculous. And as for her thinking about her daughter, where is said daughter? When is the last time she's seen her mother? If it ain't about Lorenzo Alcazar, Skye doesn't give a damn. Where is the real Skye cause this one on my screen sure ain't it.

Haha, thanks for remembering this. The Qs didnt give 2 sh-ts about Skye and didnt lift a finger to save her. They all showed up to see her get carted off to prison and left her there to rot. I always hated that they screwed her over like that, but she came back as a trooper and never held it against anyone.

I dont see Skye as evil. I see her as misguided. When Skye loves, she loves completely. Thats how she has always been. Lorenzo is the man she is with and the father of her child. She has always yearned to have a family and she got ther miracle baby that she NEVER thought she could have. Lorenzo has given her, her biggest dream and has fought to be with her and her child. Skye has been treated badly by most of the men in her past and he treats her well and trusts her completely. Thats why he told her all his secrets and she appreciates that and is repaying him with loyalty. I wouldnt expect her to betray him bc thats not who Skye is. She isnt a malicious person. Like I said she loves complelty and is a good person at heart. Dont let that fool you though bc if she gets burned, she lashes out and the true [!@#$%^&*] inside comes out and will be out for blood.

Skye likes to play roles. Just two months ago she was playing the role of "dilligent mother wanting to escape her mean baby's father" and right now she's playing "devoted mob mistress who will ride or die for her man". She'll want to play "greiving daughter" for Alan but Monica and Tracy will want to kick her azz all over town if she even tries it.

She didn't bat an eye that innocent people were there. Her justifications have been out of wack. The fact that she is putting Lorenzo's going to jail over other peoples lives, including the people that took her in and loved her, makes her worthless in my book at a level unbeaten by any other character. Carly, Sam, Jason, Sonny, may all be part of the mob life, but you never get the sense that they don't care about other human lives. Right now, Skye shows compassion for noone for her own and thats scary.

Wow, Cheap, it's sorta true: in a weird way, SkyLo is one of the more functional relationships on GH -- you know, mob stuff apart.

As for Skye right now, I *LOVE* seeing her being so b!tchy and assertive. I think this is totally how Skye would react. She's lost so many men (and a baby) that now she has what she wants -- and she's afraid it will be snatched from her. So she'll do whatever it takes to hang on to it.

As far as Alan is concerned, I do NOT see Skye as the cause for his heart attack and precarious situation. I don't think she realizes the enormity and ramifications of her actions right now -- all she cares about is Lo and Lila, and she's desperate. Plus, if anybody wants to blame a particular person for Alan's situation, why not try Craig and those terrorists since nobody and nothing was going to stop them from storming the Metro Court and getting what they wanted. They've already proved they are willing to kill for no other reason than perverted pleasure.

All I have to say is word to your whole post Cheap. I loved Skye even when she was a [!@#$%^&*] on AMC to when she was one on OLTL. At least she owns her mistakes unlike some other characters. I just wish Skylo was on more. They are the only reason I tune in to the show from time to time.

    • They weren't in town, but Fletcher worked at the paper (and we saw anniversary headlines for the 50th, although I don't remember if Roger was one of them), and I'd think Alex would have at least heard of him due to the damage he did to Spaulding only a few years before her return to the fold. I know I have to remember it's not real life, of course.
    • YES. The videos being uploaded to Spauldingfield are almost to the point where Alan is reintroduced. They're already talking about the guy he pretends to be, and yes, he returns at a masked ball. In fact, that masked ball is almost beat for beat the same as the masked ball where Alex was introduced! Get a new schtick. Before the Kobe era, that's pretty much what they did. Characters would just show up. Maybe other characters would talk about them for a while--the Chamberlains, Tony, Maureen, Andy, Kelly, Carrie--but then they would just appear. When Hope came back, she simply knocked on Bert's door and said something like, "Hi, Grandma, I'm home again." No particular fanfare. Sometimes it would be a bit dramatic--Jennifer and Morgan were introduced when Mike accidentally crashed into their car, for instance, and Alan and Elizabeth were introduced through Jackie's flashbacks when she was remembering giving up Phillip for adoption. Nola was involved in the Roger return. Roger's return in 1980 was very dramatic, but in a way that made total sense. He was trying to kidnap a child, so dressing up as a clown did not seem crazy. The mask bit was not only silly, it didn't even make sense. Alex never knew him, so there was no reason for him to be masked in front of her. And he didn't have to be skulking around SF for months. Again, I will cut Long a little slack--it was not her idea to bring back Roger, she was told to do it. She never wrote for the character. It was something that was not planned. They originally went to Zaslow to offer him the role of Alan. He, of course, turned them down because that was a ridiculous idea, but then he suggested coming back as Roger. At such short notice, it's not strange his return was not handled well.
    • Eh...but neither had been in town. Know the name Roger Thorpe? Sure. But Alex would have gone crazy trying to memorize all of Alan's co-conspirators/lovers/wives and Fletch didn't even know Roger/Adam was on the island, IIRC. But who knew or should've known each other is always a little dicey when people come back to town.
    • I wouldn't call Tomas' cuts a modern cut. They appear to be a slim/extreme slim cut⏤cut slimmer down the sides, with a higher armhole, which pulls up/out, depending on the fit of the person's body. Again, I feel like Ms Featherstone is buying to fit the wrong parts of the body; instead of buying to fit their widest parts (shoulders), she's buying things to fit their middle/waist (which is the easiest to ultimately fix without a complete re-cut), and it shows in the finished product. And the only reason it irks me is because I worked in suit sales for nearly ten years, and I notice these things immediately. The fashion(s) on this soap are miles ahead of three of the four others (I like the fashions from Y&R), but the tailoring is a choice, especially where the men are concerned.
    • There probably would have been a good chance they knew of him, especially with his ties to Spaulding and his being involved in so much scandal (meaning there would be plenty of photos and articles around they both would have seen), but I agree the mask was silly, clearly just a TV moment.

    • I think all the suits are fit too tight, except for Jon Lindstrom's. DC lawyers/doctors are not all LA fashion elites. Yes, maybe Tomas would have a more modern cut to his suit, but an established guy like Bill wouldn't go around looking like that lonely button on his jacket was ready to explode constantly.
    • I do think there's room for optimism, especially with Amazon making enough new episodes to last until December. There's still time for the various players to get their ducks in a row. Guess we'll know soon enough!
    • I do agree it's better to just have people pop back into town. I never understood why Roger needed a mask on an island, when neither Fletcher or Alex would've known who he was. And the vine...sigh. Couldn't he have just been sent crashing through a window or something?
    • When the announcement was first made, I did wonder if other plans were in the works. I guess we can always keep hoping, especially as the show has a small core cast.
