February 6, 200718 yr Member Days will stop airing in The Netherlands again on 23 February 2007 just after being back for 3 years. Days of our Lives aired a few years back, but got cancelled when they (in America) wanted more money for the soap. Years later, In 2004 another network started airing Days beginning with episodes of April 2002 (just after Austin left), now we see episodes of May 2005 where Marlena and Roman just got reunited with John & Kate and where Sami is Stan right now. on 23 Februari Days will leave our tv screens again.
February 6, 200718 yr Member I'm really sorry about that, but I must tell you, for about the next year you wouldn't be seeing any good materiel except for a few spots, that's not much comfort, but I'm just trying to make you feel better. Still, so sorry.

I'm so sorry for you Dayslover. I didnt know you were in the Netherlands. It's a shame because I heard that Australia has just cancelled "Young &R" so the soaps are downsizing all the way around. Pretty sad.
February 6, 200718 yr Author Member I dont know the reason why it got cancelled, because the ratings went up the last few months. And Days is airing at 4 PM, and they started repeating the episodes in the morning. So it's weird.
February 6, 200718 yr Member Sorry to hear that. I am dreading 2009 just because I know DAYS most likely will be ripped away from me

Then the ratings would go up and the network would not cancel a show that gets more than 3.0 That's close to the rating for their new TODAY hour.
