Well, the time has come....The Pheila/Phyllis face to face is about to take place this week, and it's taking taking its toll on Lauren, Michael and Paul....

Expect to see more Amber stuff, possibly her bonding a little bit more with a certain married man.....

Sharon decides to help her friend in need by getting closer to the enemy.

Victoria spills the beans to Brad about his daughter.....

Jack has a confrontation with someone of the political relm....and the news for Jill and Kay arrives....

So, you all know the drill: Let's talk the GOOD, the BAD and of course the downright UGLY of Y&R this week.

Speaking of annoying and pointless character - I know it's not exactly this thread's purpose LOL! - this Cane guy gets on my last nerve. Enough already!

I'm still catching up and stuck half-way last week but this is oh so intriguing character is full of hot air. Please don't let him end up as Jill's son. The writing is that piss-poor obvious taht I can just hope LML - the mistress of crazy lunatic stuff - is using this as ploy of distraction.

Is this show watchable yet? I've tuned out for the past two weeks because all the characters are going around in boring circles.

I read the SOD recap and I think Jack is showing his true colors by going after Phyllis again and Sharon is buying a clue.

Okay, this is what I want to know: who's going to wind up having a drug problem after all this Sheila drama is over with?

Will it be Lauren, who's been edge on months, and the owner of the prescription medication?

Will it be Michael, who's been wigging out everytime he looks at Sheila then runs into Phyllis shortly after?

OR: Will it be Paul, who's had this nut job locked up in her own cell for months now, and seems to be reaching some sort of breaking point?

On another note, "Who the Hell cares what 's in Korbel's funky briefcase? They are really making Colleen play the "I gotta have some from the hot prof." really well.

The reliquary or course was dull....but I will be glad when they show who the person is that is ear hustling on the surveillance system...I say is the professor himself....but then again, they are doing a good job at making us think that he's the bad guy.

WTF Jana going into other people's property?

Victor/Victoria/Brad/Rebecca HATE. Please NEVER give Don Diamont a LEAD story AGAIN!

Maggie is supposed to be a tough cop but gets taken down by Sheila with a simple choke hold? Whatever

Tracey looked great today!

Dru should have just quickly handed over the phone to Neil while Carmen was talking.

LOL, I know they're trying to make Dru look "crazy" but that was so stupid when Dru could have quickly handed it to Neil, or put it on speaker. ARGH.

I wonder if Brad's character can ever be redeemed?

The previews show Nikki/Jill/Kay tomorrow. Woot.

Brad is Snooozeville compared to some of the other folks on the show....

That would be too easy for them to have Dru hand over the phone as soon as she heard Carmen's voice....Why do I get that whole "Sream" vibe going on LOL...that's what it seems like to me, like someone has one of those voice altering systems to use when they call

    • Dallas peaked early, IMO. Maybe not a fair statement as I’m still making my way through the first half of its run, but I think it’s hard to argue to point that S3 into S4 was its high point. Back to Knots. Wrapping up “And Never Brought to Mind.” Greg’s introduction kinda took me by surprise. I low-key dreaded his arrival bc I know he very quickly gets to the center of the show, but even though they wasted no time connecting him with Mac, Abby, Gary, and Karen, it still feels like a gradual intro. The juxtaposition of the ending of the Chip story with the heating up Abby’s plotting is quite symbolic of the changes the show was going through. I absolutely cannot imagine Kenny and Ginger having any part in any of this. Yall, the Gary/Val piano theme that they pull out from time to time is my FAVORITE. I find myself humming it constantly.
    • Bloodshed is inevitable now. It’s another reason I’m glad Black people aren’t getting involved in these protests. As awful as this is, I keep reminding myself that 54 percent of Latino men voted for Trump. These people were put in harm’s way by members of their own communities and sometimes even members of their own families. Too many people decided to touch the stove.
    • Maybe I'm still in denial, but nothing about Neighbours' ongoing social media output gives the vibe of a show that's ending. In today's 'Roundup' video, Alan Fletcher referenced that production finishes in five weeks, but in all the show's posts the cast are as jovial and lighthearted as ever. Remarkably so for people who are about to lose their jobs.    Perhaps they're just putting a brave face on things, and I know they approached the previous axing with a positive attitude. Maybe putting an upbeat face on things is a collective way of showing potential backers that there's still life in the show? Or is it possible that they already know the show has been saved, and we'll get an announcement next month when filming wraps and the show 'rests'?   Does any of that make sense?!
    • A very good week for male eye candy on GH. New Michael is beautiful, Curtis's arms looked great in that polo shirt, Cody looks even more handsome with his new haircut AND we got Marco in swim shorts rocking his lovely bod and chest fur.

    • Yeah when Jamey Giddens did breakdowns for DAYS, he would sometimes state in tweets that specific things were his idea that he had pitched to Ron.
    • I don't, since they've clearly incorporated them into Tomas' storyline, and I happen to like his tattoos, but his jackets not fitting doesn't mean they're trying to cover his tattoos. The clothing overall isn't the issue; it's the fit. And I expect(ed) more from Jeresa Featherstone and her team. Very disappointed. He's the only male, overall, whose costume irritates me.
    • "And OMG, watching the scenes of Roger's return in comparison...the quality in the writing really nosedived. The stupid mask." Very much agreed.  Having Roger hide behind a mask for weeks/months, with it culminating with him swinging in on a vine at Blake/Phillip's wedding....geez.  So juvenile. IMO, Guiding Light never did a good job reintroducing major characters, either from the dead or elsewhere.  Masked balls = awful.  Amish = awful. When Reva was brought back from the dead, she should've just showed up in Springfield as Reva, and informed everyone that she had been gone for years because she felt like it.  She had a four-year fling with some dude who ended up dumping her due to disloyalty. Josh would be pissed and declare that their love is not *always* but *sometimes* and he'd act accordingly.  Her kids would hate her.
    • Agreed. The Emmys next year are gonna be a pretty tough competition and I hope we get a Days sweep lol  Not only does Deidre deserve a nomination for these last few weeks, but I also think Paul Telfer, Raven Bowens, Carson Boatman, Dan Feuerriegel and Alison Sweeney have good chances as well.
    • It’s not about a lack of faith and trust in MVJ, it’s about a a lack of faith and trust in Ron Carlivati, who I think can be very sneaky and manipulative when he wants to be.  And, all that “He’s just a breakdown writer” talk never changed my mind about anything, because at Days, it was “just a breakdown writer” that gave us some of the worst episodes I’ve ever seen.
