Check out these two interviews.....WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Isiah Washington is an ass, and Billy Bush is such a kiss ass..

http://www.accesshollywood.com/news/ah3543.shtml

Supposedly in the Press Room backstage at the Golden globes, Isiah Washington was asked about the october incident...and he said that he never called T.R. Knight a faggot...Actually saying the word out loud in the press room...Well i guess T.R. Knight was upset that he said the word again, and Katherine Heigl jumped to his defense and called IW out on it...I really want to give Katherine Heigl props for sticking up for his best friend....Love her..and on a superficial note, she looked gorgeous at the Globes...

Isiah just needs to learn to keep his mouth shut - he kind of seems stupid - as if he thought saying "I never called T.R. a faggot" would clear him of any wrongdoing in the public's eye. Um no - you just made things worse for you!

If one of the cast kept making racially insulting remarks about him, they would probably be fired. So he needs to stop.

IW proved that he has no class, and frankly, I wouldn't cry if he was canned in the aftermath of his stupidity.

And GO KATHERINE! She showed how much of a friend she was to T.R.

I love Katherine Heigl.

Anyway, I'll wager $100 right now that IW is gone by the first episode of Season 4.

There is a direct link to the Golden Globe backstage drama in the ABC Discussion: Grey's thread...I have posted it.

For the poster that said IW will be gone by the beginning of season 4, I'm betting he's gone by the end of this season. He really should of kept his mouth shut, and to lie like that in front of all the people that heard him say that on the set is really pathetic. This incident happened like 3 months ago, and he still hasn't learned anything from it. He really needs to be canned and I hope the role is recasted with someone that is more kinder to their castmates.

I have heard that Shonda Rhimes (who is a big b!tch by the way) is pretty much OBSESSED with IW so I don't think he'll be going anywhere.

I just found this statement from ABC on Perezhilton.com

"We have a long standing policy to create and maintain respectful workplaces for all our employees. We dealt with the original situation in October, and thought the issue resolved. Therefore, we are greatly dismayed that Mr. Washington chose to use such inappropriate language at the Golden Globes, that he himself deemed "unfortunate" in his previous public apology. We take this situation very seriously, and his actions are unacceptable and are being addressed."

hopelly he will be canned sometime this season, his actions really are unacceptable..and the tension on the set has to be unbearable this week...

She laughed when IW said that in the pressroom. Everyone else didn't crack a smile or shocked look but SR laughed.

They all looked so uncomfortable in that press room after IW went to the mic. Especially Patrick Dempsey. Someone said that Katie Heigl had to actually stop T.R. from walking off that stage. Which is so understandable. First he makes a public thing out of something that's personal for T.R. and then he brings it up again with every camera possible (well, you get the point) pointed at that group? That's just unacceptable. He IS in the media, and with that comes responsibility.

What a whore. I hope it's not true that she loves IW. I never liked Burke, but I especially can't stand IW. But I'm still banking on him being gone when the fourth season starts.

'Grey's Anatomy' star apologizes for anti-gay comment

Friday, January 19, 2007

By SANDY COHEN ~ The Associated Press

LOS ANGELES -- The heated controversy at ABC's top show, "Grey's Anatomy," boiled over Thursday as the network rebuked co-star Isaiah Washington for an anti-gay comment and Washington issued a lengthy apology.

"We are greatly dismayed that Mr. Washington chose to use such inappropriate language at the Golden Globes, language that he himself deemed 'unfortunate' in his previous public apology," the network said in a statement.

"His actions are unacceptable and are being addressed," the statement conclude.

During a backstage interview Monday at the Globes gala, Washington denied involvement in a heated on-set incident in October during which an anti-gay remark was reportedly uttered.

"No, I did not call [co-star]T.R. [Knight] a faggot," Washington told reporters. "Never happened, never happened."

In his apology Thursday, Washington acknowledged "repeating the word Monday night."

"I apologize to T.R., my colleagues, the fans of the show and especially the lesbian and gay community for using a word that is unacceptable in any context or circumstance. I marred what should have been a perfect night for everyone who works on 'Grey's Anatomy.'

"I can neither defend nor explain my behavior. I can also no longer deny to myself that there are issues I obviously need to examine within my own soul, and I've asked for help."

ABC said in its statement it has "a longstanding policy to maintain respectful workplaces" for its employees, adding that the network had "dealt with the original situation in October, and thought the issue resolved."

Thursday's events followed a critical statement Wednesday from the Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation. Neil Giuliano, GLAAD president, said he had contacted Washington's representatives in hopes of meeting the actor to discuss "the destructive impact of these kinds of anti-gay slurs."

"Washington's repeated use of it on-set and in the media is simply inexcusable," Giuliano said in the statement.

Washington said on Thursday that he welcomes the chance to meet with gay and lesbian community leaders "to apologize in person and to talk about what I can do to heal the wounds I've opened."

"I know a mere apology will not end this, and I intend to let my future actions prove my sincerity," Washington said.

Knight, who said soon after the October fracas that he is gay, appeared in Tuesday's taping of "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" to discuss the original incident and Washington's recent comments.

"He referred to me as a faggot," Knight said of the October incident. "Everyone heard it."

"Grey's Anatomy," now in its third season, won the Golden Globe for best television drama. It regularly finishes atop or near the top of the Nielsen rankings.

I'm not sure if Shonda was laughing at the fact he said what he said...so much as the "Seriously" commment and tried to just move on from that...you know ignoring the fact that he was speaking out of his ass!
