I'm surprised nobody else has commented on this (though I can understand with the general direction of the show at the moment).

I never thought I would see the moment when Stephanie would be forced against a railing by anyone other than Sheila Carter. It really was hysterically funny. Icky as it is that Nick was physically abusing an older woman, it couldn't really have happened to a nicer person and it was good to see a little vulnerability to the old witch for a change.

Also I wish Brooke would suck it up and accept the possibility that Stephanie might have pushed Jackie over the balcony. Is it such a stretch that the woman who tried to strangle/stab/beat her on numerous occasions would be guilty of such a thing? She's being incredibly naive and I don't like the way slutty Donna is being lined up as Steph's next rival while Brooke's practically brown nosing her.

Stephanie didn't 'Push' Jackie over the balcony, it was a huge freak-accident. Nick what a dumb woman abuser spaz. The whole scene he acted AWFUL that day 'where are you going, I'm not gonna let you walk away from me'.

Yeah there are some soap actors who can't really handle the improv of walking and talking at the same time. I think the lack of sophistication of sound mixing in daytime can also make it come across more stilted than it's actually being performed.

Nevertheless, I can totally identify why Nick did what he did. He didn't see what happened, just Donna's story. But seeing as Stephanie slapped his mother the week before and has assaulted his wife on many occasions, it's understandable he'd jump to the wrong conclusion.

I really don't think the show has been too bad lately. I liked the ending on Friday. And in the previews it seems like everybody comes in and hears a gunshot. Leave it to Brad Bell to be a little bit over the top.

Someone needs to beat the [!@#$%^&*] out of Donna.

The only thing she saw was Jackie going over. She didn't get a glimpse of Stephanie.

Shesh, could we send Ridge, Donna and Brooke to another planet, please?

They're taking the whole show DOWN with them. B&B is gaining major fire these days and getting really good but those three (I could possibly take Brooke if she for once made up her mind for good...) are annoying as ever.

I thought Nick's physical assault of Stephanie was pretty nasty to watch. I used to like Captain Nick Payne but all this jerking the female characters around? And I know Stephanie is borderline psychotic at times but the fact is, a woman of her age should not be thrown around and strangled like that. I hope B&B don't try and pretend that this is "Nick's grief talking" and address it. Satanie should hire Storm to sue Nick's ass.
