I've noticed something about Jackie's acting the past few years, since Phelps took over GH. She doesn't really emote anymore, or act at all. When she has lines she plays them pretty straight up. I can only assume that Jackie hates the direction of the show and so feels no need to make an effort. Also, considering how Bobbie has been severely backburned and almost non existent on canvas, it makes sense that she could feel resentment. Maybe Tony being killed off was the final straw.

We KNOW Jackie was once a great actress, remember those BJ's death and Caroline storylines, she was Emmy nominated for those if i remember. But now... NOTHING. Her reaction to Laura was like seeing an old friend you havent seen for a year, and not a sister in law who was a big part of your life who you havent seen for FOUR years due to a CATATONIC STATE you never thought she'd be brought out of!

What KILLS me is that Guza MADE Carly Bobbie's daughter and he clearly loves her to death (Carly, that is), and the show is more or less centered on Carly, and it kills me they NEVER use Bobbie. Just kills me.

JZ's "acting" has been almost laughable for several years now and we know she's a much better actress than that.

Here's what I want to know: How has she managed to stay on contract with GH with her once a month appearance for one scene whereas her equivalents on AMC and OLTL are gone or soon-to-be gone? Same with Leslie and Stuart.

Could the Botox have anything to do with it?

As much as I LOVE Jackie Zeman, Botox has paralyzed our favorites, almost to the point of no return. Just ask Hunter Tylo.

The last good acting I saw from Jackie Zeman was when they had to write Tamara Braun out for her sudden leave of absence and they had Carly drive off a cliff (please oh please do the same for Laura Wright's Character and make it stick!!), and Luke told her the news and she wails and collapses in his arms.

During that whole storyline, she was great... then Carly came back, along with Guza, and then she was in story with Kin Shriner's Scotty Baldwin... and she was phoning that shyt in! All with the baby talk and the non-chalant reaction to finding out Scott blackmailed Carly by threatening to have Michael put into foster care, and it's been that way ever since.

I agree with you guys. She acted like Laura was living in California for the last four years, dropping the occasional letter here and there, and was simply surprised to see her!
