I find it utterly ridiculous that they have Viki/Erika Slezak standing around on the show doing absolutely nothing. Why in the heck is Higley so against giving Viki a storyline all her own. Heaven knows the show is so horribly written and fans are leaving in droves, the lack of vets is killing the show, why the heck aren't they using their big guns by giving Viki a storyline to bring some viewers back? Why did they not do a big Viki/Clint reunion/romance? What the heck is Higley/Valentini and of course Frons thinking wasting Erika Slezak like this? What a sad waste.:(

You mean, of course, one that doesn't include removing what little is left of her one life and personality.

The real answer: when Frons is out and ABC direction changes -- IF that ever happens.

I think they are doing one hell of a job putting Viki with SO many stories. She's involved with the birth of her great-grandchild. Her daughter's wedding. Amidst right in the middle of this Buchanan/Spencer storyline. Heck, she's even involved in the Starr/Blair/Todd storyline. And I see before me that reuniting of Viki and Clint. It's slow and I'd much rather it be a slow build up then a "slam, bam, thank you ma'am." kind of reconcilation. And I frankly would rather have Viki involved in ALOT of storylines rather then have her off by herself and not involved in her familys lives. But then its like she can't win for losing...because if she gets involved with her children, people bash her and say she's nosy, but yet when she's not involved with her children, they say she doesn't care, only cares about herself.

Poor Viki. She's damned if she doesn't and damned if she does.

This Erika/Viki fan is very happy with what she's been getting lately and there is SO much more to come.

Yeah, from what I've seen of the show (I've given up on ABC soaps), even though she doesn't have a storyline of her own per se, she's still involved somehow in the other storylines. At least the Viki character is still recognizable, whereas Dorian has become a pathetic pod character whose lost all her edge and spunk.

I am sorry but I disagree, Viki story would be a Viki centric storyline. I like her with family but when was the last time any one asked Viki how she was doing, what her life is going on, is there someone special. As for Viki/Clint, don't see it, it is still Clint running after Dorian, he obviously has forgiven her for her latest crap and was jealous about David being at Dorian's house. Clint/Dorian is a Higley couple and obviously she is going to continue on that stupid route, even though I think it highly ridiculous and stupid that Clint would ever be involved with a woman that killed his granddaughter and has done despicable things against him, his kids and his family.

I am glad Viki is back onscreen but as for Viki story, don't see it and I want one that is about Viki, her life not just as a side background player to her kids.

Its not going to happen, Clint will never forgive or forget what Dorian did to Adriana, he has said it to her, plain and simple. And you can see how differently he ask around Viki compared to how he is with Dorian. He is extremely touchy feely with Viki, but not with Dorian. It is totally different. The pairing of C/D was just something for the character of Clint to do while Erika was away on her month long vacation. I see the romance building, and I'm enjoying it. It is going to be extremely fun to watch both Clint and Viki realize that they have once again fallen for each other.

Whether you like it or not, Viki's family IS the most important thing in her life, and her own personal life will always come second. That is who Viki is.

Yup. Viki's family will always come first, and due to Highly forgetting, it seems that she has been so wrapped up in their problems that she has had no time to merge with Nikki Smith, since she was never gotten rid of.

I don't know much about this show, or where the storylines are going but I know one thing. Clint Buchanan is a man that spends way too much of his free time with his ex wife. He talks to her, he confides in her and he has been by her side nonstop since Kelly went into labor. He can't keep his friggin hands off her. And if one was to look at Viki, they'd notice her looking at him, seeking him out and leaning on him. And, she's been confiding in him about what is going on her life. For a divorced couple, these two spend alot of time together.

Viki does not have a story. She has the same story as the sofa in Llanfair. She is a prop. That is sad and I'm very unhappy about that.

OLTL had so much going for it and it's letting it all go.
