Today was the new showing of the new mid-show bumpers for As the World Turns:

On today's eppy, they featured the following:

Elena Goode (Jade)

Elizabeth Hubbard

Maura West and Michael Park (a new shot of them)

Mark Collier (also a newer shot of him)

Terri Colombino w/Mark Collier (a newer shot of them)

Martha Byrne and Jon Hensley (new shot)

I personally love that they have added Elizabeth Hubbard in the mid-show bumper. She really deserves being a part of it.

It was way past time to spice up the bumpers a little bit. Jade's was nice.

But wtf was with photoshopping an old pic of Lily in there?

I thought it was just me that noticed that. They could have had a newer photo shoot of Lily and Holden...Holden's looked like it was not that long ago, but you can tell that Lily's was from the past mid-day bumper from late 2005.

I liked Jade's, however, I did like Lucinda too.

That's what I thought was being done...I thought they were going to revamp/revise their opening. I think it's about that time to do so.

Luke has been on ATWT longer but Jade gets a bumper first?

I know when they first started the new updated bumper, they repeated them, but gradually showed other cast members; they may be doing the same thing; hopefully we will see Van Hansis in a bumper sooner than later.

I really like Elizabeth Hubbard's pic though.

I'm pretty sure they did that because Byrne was noticeably pregnant with Annmarie at the time of the photo shoot. They shot the bumpers around the time Luke was coming out of the closet..if I remember correctly.

But I agree...they could have done some quick photo shoot for Byrne and given her an actual photo in the bumper instead of something photo-shopped.

They could always add in a newer photo shoot with Martha.

As I said before, they most likely will add on to the bumper later on. Now, all they need to do is work on the opening montage.

Why was Simon in the Mid Show Bumpers? I think you know why I ask. Isn't it kind of late to put him on the mid show bumpers? And where is Luke in these bumpers?

I remember they had added Kin Shriner in the mid show bumpers and a few months later, he was gone...

I see no purpose of even adding Paul Leyden in the bumpers if he's going to be gone by December anyways...

I was wondering about that....I also saw the new Matie shot in Tuesday's show, as well as a newer shot of CarJack.....
