ATWT---Wednesday....Simon MUST DIE!!

I never do this, but anything to make Steve happy....LOL

Seriously....WHY is Carly constantly getting betrayed by any man she looks twice at? Today, inexplicably, Simon trashes their model apartment!!

I'd say he was as bad as Craig, but at least he had the humility to decline Carly's moves and make up some lame excuse to take Carly there and see what had happened.

I feel asleep on the end of the show, and missed that. The last thing I saw was him smashing the vase.

I agree that he needs to go. I can't wait for him to leave the show. And I hope he stays gone this time.

As I said in another post, I am loving the new direction Tom is taking. I hope he means more of a story for him and Margo.

Did anyone else notice that they kept playing the theme song for "The Saint" underneath Simon's scenes today? I was lmao! For those of you who don't know, 'The Saint' is a classic British TV series from the 1960s starring Roger Moore (future James Bond). It was a feature film in 1997 starring Val Kilmer. It's about a master thief who steals from ciminals, leaving his calling card featuring a stick figure wearing a halo. The thief's name is Simon Templar. The theme is highly distinctive and memorable (I bought the Orbital version of the theme featured in the movie when it came out) and I caught it instantly. IMO, that's a very sly reference ATWT did considering the upcoming plot point involving Simon.

Simon's stories are tiresome.

He turns on the charm and whoever is having marital trouble at the time will fall for him.

I was sick of this story before it even began. I used to like Simon, but now he annoys me.

And I HOPE Carly opens her eyes, her stupidity makes it hard to feel sorry for her.

Carly's naivete nowadays is rather alarming. It's more suited to Lucy or Maddie. Every man she's schemed with has stabbed her in the back one way or another. She should expect it...I just hope she gets to knock him on his ass for it.

I wouldn't know the music from "The Saint" if it bit me on the nose. Now, the Man from UNCLE or Wild, Wild West....that's another story.

Today's show was alright. I am finding NuAdam very hot. :) I loved seeing Tom and Margo on today. The rest was just ok. It was also nice seeing Kim briefly though. I can't wait for Simon to leave. His storyline with Carly is going nowhere.

Am I the only one who thinks Adam looks a wee bit like Jake Gylenhall?

I totally agree with you on that one! He's very easy on the eyes!

Let's keep in mind that it's the WRITERS who are coming up with some of these lame plotpoints PL and MW are fun to watch together. All it would take is some better writing so that Carly didn't look stupid. Simon misbehaving is typical of the character -- he has always been self-destructive. It would be interesting to know WHY he continually sabotagues these relationships. We've never gotten anything real explanation -- that could be an interesting story.

That would be a good storyline for PL if he decided to return.

I don't think Carly and Simon are fun to watch---at all, and it's not only the writing that makes it that way. Chemistry may be subjective, but just as characters, they don't mesh. The "fun" romance-lite of Simon doesn't jive with Carly. Carly's angst-filled life hasn't even given Simon a phony SNL "deep-thought moment" yet.

I only hope the end of this so-called relationship is popcorn worthy. I've chugged enough pepto-bismol sitting through the first two acts.

So ends my mini-rant. B)

I can't believe TIIC waste airtime w/ these losers. Their storylines are always useless. When's the last time that any of them had had a storyline w/ some kind of substance?

LOL... I can't think of any story with real substance in ages.
