Billie was text messaging someone. I thought that was an interesting scene thrown in there. I wonder who she was text messaging......

Billie received a text message from a friend on the police force that Chelsea was being brought in on prostitution. She told Kayla to tell Steve that she had to go take care of her daughter. LOL at the look on Kayla's face.

I love Rachel as Chelsea, she's a new talent that's fun and entertaining to watch.

I still can't get used to Willion, there's something about her that just gives off this "blond airhead"

look. I don't get what right Mimi had to attack her though, Willow had no idea Shawn and Mimi were married.

I have to disagree there. I don't think we had any characterization, except by accident, under Reilly, so for me the only change is characters are starting to have personality again, not that they're turning an about face. There are a few off things, yes, messing with histories a bit, but what I see is an attempt to give characters some depth, and things will be rocky at first and there may be some missteps, but they feel more real and less plot-driven to me overall.

I agree completely! :D

Yeah, Mimi was actually fun to watch today. She and Shawn are still married (hopefully not longer) so she does have a right to be pissed. Mimi has been faithful, even if she didn't tell Shawn about Claire right away. I have to say Farah was a much better actress than the Willow chick today. Watch out for a blizzard.

Abe was the best thing about today's show. Bo has been such an a-hole lately, so it was nice to see someone chew him out about his behavior, even if we know Patrick isn't on the up-and-up. James did a good job and I was glad somebody finally stood up to Bo-hole.

Chelsea honey, grow up and realize Bo and Billie ain't getting back together and find a new hobby. I don't understand why she and Kate want them back together. Kate and Bo hate each other, and I think Billie has learned Bo won't care for her or love her like he does Hope. I'm actually enjoying Billie more than Hope right now and she deserves a man who won't think of her as second best.

Steve and Stephanie are a great father/daughter pair and MBE is a treat to see as always.

I wasn't that impressed with this show..but like others said it was mostly filler..i'm looking forward to the sami stuff this week, and all of next week...

Shawn was hot today, i just enjoy all his scenes now..because of brandon beemer..He is such a find...i wish i could have been hooking up with him on the Fancy Face 3...jk!!!

Mimi vs. Willow was entertaining..but i'm not sure what i think about Willow yet..its all happened so fast...

Abe, Lexie, Tek---were kind of boring today...Tek proposing was lame...he's getting desperate..

Chelsea was the highlight of the show for me today..Rachel Melvin just rocks and i loved her facial expressions today..

Also Steve, Stephanie and Kayla had some nice scenes..I really enjoy Stephanie, except for when she's with Max...

This episode was definetly one of the more slower/filler ones since Hogan's start, but the writing was still VERY good!!

I loved the Kayla/Patch/Stephanie scenes, the actors all just have GREAT chemistry with each other.

Melvin was funny today as Chelsea.

Mimi is such a b*tch..I mean she is calling Willow a slut and whore and stuff, whatever, the girl was stuck in an awful life that she is finally trying to get out of, GOD FORBID she actually try to improve her life...it is people like Mimi that CONSTANYLY hold people back....Mimi is the LAST person to be casting ANY sort of judgement on anyone!! Ugh can she just DIE already!

BTW Billyjill, LOVE LOVE LOVE the avatar!!

Yeah, she's a DiMera chick. Remember JER started the glove thing and Jan was supposed to be the glove and Willow is probably the Jan-part of the DiMera's reeking havoc on the Brady's.

The story is so different I scarcely recognize it as Days anymore. The characters don't feel real even. Abe, was so off. Bo is not Bo.

What I did love was the Stephanie and Steve scenes. They work so well together and are very believable. Loved Kayla and Billie, too. This is becoming Hogan's story and it rings truer to me. Loved that Steve wants to rough up Max a bit on Stephanie's behalf.

Shawn needs to get back with Mimi. When he looked at Mimi when she showed up with Willow, the look on his face said to me at least that Farah's buddy-like nature has won Beemer. He actually has chemistry with her like all the guys do. I know the Mimi haters won't see this, but not everyone is a Mimi/Farah hater.

Tomorrow will be dramatic and infuriating....I read The Early Edition.

I think I am going to skip this week, and hope that next week is better.

I can't stand the Sami, Carrie spoilers. I hate how their story is ending up. Carrie's reaction is sooooo off base and out of character. (I loved the Stephanie, Patch stuff too - best part of today.)

Like Mitch said, today was mostly filler and kinda lame but the writing was still so good it held my attention. If this is going to be the worst Hogan offers us, then that is pretty good because today wasn't horrible. It just was filler.

God help me but I liked Mimi two days in a row. Moving Mimi back to supporting is a plus and she was acting like the Mimi of old today-the one that blabbed and went on and on. I liked her little battle with Willow and the scene with Mimi and Bo was hilarious. Shawn/Willow works because Shawn is irrational and rebelling. Not only that but he doesn't want to go down the Belle route because of all the hurt and pain. There has been so much damage there and lives are a mess because of all the lies so Willow is his escape from that at the moment. If it weren't for all that, it would be rushed but it makes sense. I actually thought they did a good job with the GPS and the ending with the storm coming. Nice little suspense build there. Brandon Beemer is hot though.

Steve and Stephanie had some great scenes. MBE was very good and Kayla's talk with Billie I liked because it continues to show that Billie is not that bad and that she is being redeemed. This whole Billie/Steve thing is going a long way towards redeeming her IMO. Shayna Rose has improved so much and the Johnson family fits together seamlessly.

Tek is scaring me. I loved the Abe/Lexie stuff but Tek really needs to be locked up or something. Loved the action between the 3 at Chez Rouz. I also loved Abe tearing into Bo today. Jim was awesome and while Patrick is the bad guy he needed to tell Bo off. I thought both Abe and Bo were very much in character. In fact, under Hogan so far, I think pretty much everyone has been in character most of the time but Hope and Marlena and they are making strides there. The characters definitely have personality again and that is a plus.

The Chelsea stuff was so entertaining. Melvin was great again and Bo and Billie's reactions were priceless.

Can't wait until tomarrow which looks much more action-packed. One slow show once in awhile is not bad. It wasn't horrible-filler but really not that bad.

Thanks Mitch :)

You know, I do believe I'm liking the filler stuff more, the major plot advances so far have mostly had this "wrap it up" feeling, which makes sense since they're finishing the old storylines, but still feel nothing more than perfunctory to me. The character interactions and development are a little more spontaneous at this point.

I was thinking the same thing about the actress playing Willow actually making Farah look good today. While you're out waiting for that blizzard check for pork in the treetops.

How was today's episode "filler?"

There was story movement....things just didn't stay the same.

Willow should really die. She drives me absolutely insane. She looks awkward, her lips drive me up a frickin' wall, I hate her voice and the 'tard-ish way she talks. MURDER THIS HO!

You know what's really tripping me out? Reading the messages at a few message boards where some people are threatening to stop watching the show b/c they believe that Hogie is committing character assassination against Shawn etc with this Willow thing. Plus they hate the EJ/Kate sex fest!!!

I think it's hilarious but I don't think people know what to expect from Hogie and Days' viewers have been burned in the past so much, that there's some trepidation there....

It's really nice to come here and see posts that for the most part like what Hogie is doing. It's refreshing after seeing all the carping from a few other message boards....

Thank God for SON!!! :D

Toups, I assume people meant it to refer to the fact that there were no big plot reveals today ... I personally didn't feel that today was stagnant in any way. Chelsea's scheme went one step further, Mimi found out about Willow, Tek proposed, Stephanie and Steve had some much needed quality time while Billie gave her "Fight for Steve" schpiel to Kayla. I was just saying, if this is filler, I like it!

I cannot stand Willow. Ugh, just get her out of here now.

Mimi, wow..she seems to be acting more like the sarcastic girl I always loved. Since she found out that Phillip was leaving, I have actually enjoyed her.

I flove Rachel Melvin. How hilarious was she in that hooker outfit!

I flove Brandon Beemer too. Just get the hooker away from Shawn.

I thought it was funny that Bo started to tell Mimi he knows what a hooker does BEFORE Mimi said what a hooker does. Oops??
