I swear I'll remember to open the ballot on time one of these days.....

The Official SON Top 10 Ballot: Week of September 4 - 8, 2006

Edited to add other votes, and to correct my episode. I forgot that ATWT was not on Monday - it was Tuesday's show that I liked so well.

ATWT for Best Show

Episode - right now leaning toward Tuesday's - the show just had the excitement of the slasher, but also some great moments with Tom, Margo, and Henry as well as Holden

Actors:

ATWT: Scott Holmes or Trent Dawson - both were so good

Y&R: Peter Bergman

Passions: Ben Masters

GH: Rick Hearst

Days: James Scott - he was great on Monday and Tuesday (the only days I watched this last week)

GL: Robert Newman (loved his scenes with Reva on Wednesday)

Actresses:

ATWT: Alexandra Chando or Ellen Dolan

Y&R: Judith Chapman - she is just doing so good lately (HM to Victoria Rowell)

Passions: Lindsay Hartley

GH: Nancy Lee Grahn (HM to Julie Berman)

Days: Allison Sweeney (great esp. on Monday - best performance of any actress all week long)

GL: Kim Zimmer (Wednesday was a great day for her)

GL

Actress: Stephanie Gatschet (Tammy) - The fact that she made me cry this week is reason alone to prove she's that good (no pun intended). However, she really wowed me playing the biker chick aka the Tammy version of Jonathan yesterday.

Actor: tie between Jordan Clarke (Billy) - Loved the Billy/Vanessa scenes. I hate that Billy's Reva's lapdog but JC did a great job portraying Billy as having feelings for Reva yet wanting to be the best friend she could possibly have..his conflicts and guilt dealing with keeping Reva's cancer a secret, etc. or..

Tom Pelphrey (Jonathan) - Like SG, he was all over the place this week. One minute, his JB moments with everyone concerning the marriage to Lizzie had me believing he was really being inconsiderate of Tammy's feelings and the next, it becomes clear that it's all for show..that he really does care about her. TP played the respectable, worrysome Dr. J so well..it was a completely different role from Jonathan.

Show: GL

Limbo-like stories started to move (ie. the baby story), Reva wasn't as annoying, and this week, it reached 15,000 episodes!

Episode: Thursday's GL

I really loved Tuesday's episode as well but I have to give it to the 15,000th episode special. Good use of history (however subtle it may be), fun role reversals, and I thought the acting was just top notch.

DAYS: Missy Reeves & Matthew Ashford

PSNS: Lindsay Hartley & Ben Masters

ATWT: Trent Dawson & Ellen Dolan

GL: Jordan Clarke & Stephanie Gatschet

Episode: GL Thursday or DAYS Thursday

Show: Days of our Lives

You mean Tuesday, right? ATWT wasn't on Monday this week...

Just a reminder, re-runs are NOT eligible for episode of the week. That just doesn't seem to be fair.
