I wish they'd leave Jason and Liz together. The chemistry between them is amazing. Jason never looked happier then those scenes with Liz.

Maybe that was Steve Burton's passive aggressive appeal to Guza. I mean, hell! He even showed his nipples in two episodes and we all know SB doesn't expose his nipples!

It has....

I did NOT like Sam this week at all. I know that she is not a popular character, but I have liked her for some time. I love Kelly Monaco. TPTB need to give her a decent story already. She had some great stuff with Alexis around Mother's Day. I cannot take her pinning over Jason much longer.

NLG has been great, as always.

And I love Robin and Patrick. They had some good scenes this week.

Bless you! Everything you wrote is something I agree with! I love Kelly Monaco. I think when she was on Port Charles as a defined, solid character (Livvie), she rocked! She was a !@#$%^&*]y, sneaky girl, but Livvie knew what she wanted and knew how to get it. KM definitely seems like a kick ass person in real life (loved how she had no qualms standing up for herself and her relationship against Elisabeth Hasselbeck on the View) -- but I couldn't detest Sam more these days if I tried! I liked her with Jason, but now that that ship has sailed, and I saw Liason for the first time (I didn't start watching until 2000 -- SB was long gone), and now that seems to be something I want to see happen.

NLG is a pro. Plain and simple. The epitome of daytime leading actress. She knows her character and knows how to play it, and still gives a beautiful array of colors to Alexis, a woman who is in control of everything around her to a fault! So far, Alexis has been true to Alexis throughout this storyline. Maybe Guza isn't paying attention because he's too busy trying to tear down Ric, but Alexis hasn't acted out of character in this current storyline(s) (keeping her illness secret for the past few weeks).

Overall, I think this was a good episode. GH has become more soapy over the last month, which is a good thing. Characters have been TALKING to one another, and not screaming, shouting, fighting, shooting and smashing barware to convey their points. Carly has been gone all week, praise God! And I don't even miss her. And Sonny actually has been tolerable. Lithium works!

Kelly was one of the reasons I started watching GH again. I loved her in PC, and I still watch that in SoapNet. The View situation was great. Kelly really held her ground. I really was a Jason/Sam fan until about four or five months ago. Sam's co-dependency with Jason is just too much for me. She is a strong independent woman and doesn't need all that. Guza really needs to give her something to work with.

Jason/Liz were great. I only caught glempses of them before and I am all for them now....after seeing the past couple of eppys, I say go for it.

NLG is the main reason I STILL watch GH. She continues to deliver...time and time again. As heartbreaking of a story this lung cancer is going to be, I know that she will do it justice.

Sonny's bi-polar story is the first Sonny story I have been really invloved in for quite some time. It is a great story and I know that it means a lot to MB.

i love kelly monaco but i dont want her and GV trash to pimp jiz and i think they will i think poor lucky is toast

Maybe Sam and Lucky will end up comforting each other if TPTB decide that Liason are a go?

Which technically I wouldn't mind, even though I loved early JaSam. Kelly Monaco would have chemistry with a rock. I have noticed sparks between her and Greg Vaughan (the sparks between her and Tyler Christopher are also noteworthy, but I guess they're cousins now!).

Sonny has been decent in his new role on the sort-of-but-not-really backburner. I put some of that down to the actress that plays Kristina. She is just the cuteness! Maurice does look a little more relaxed and in tune with things in his scenes. I don't think he stumbled once with his lines in that scene he had with Alexis at the Metro Court.

NLG is, quite simply, phenomenal. Arguably one of the best actresses in either Daytime OR Primetime, IMHO.

About MB, I always found it rather curious how he became the authority on who can act and who can't, when every single time I watched "Sonny", MB's always stumbling on lines and such. "The problem I have with -- wait, no. Yeah -- the problem I have with Carly, is... okay... the fact that she, you know... she schemes and... um, you know, okay? She does something crazy and, she just, I dunno, just lies to cover it... you know... um... She lies to cover it... .... .... .... SHE LIES TO COVER IT UP!!!!!! [throws glassware and tosses chairs]" So watching Maurice be more relaxed as Sonny and less attempts at trying... yes, I said it... TRYING... to be "intense", makes him more appealing to watch. He seems more like a character, rather than a caricature. Like I said, Lithum + Sonny = THANK GOD!!

As for NLG...? Completely underrated. If the writers were to allow NLG the opportunity to play more colors to the character, instead of having to sneak them in on her own (since the writing of Alexis is sooooo constricting), we wouldn't need Laura Wright's ubiquitous and equally obnoxious screeching Carly running around town as the female centerpiece. I came to GH in 2000, and always thought NLG was cute and funny and the brown paper bag bit was cute and funny, too. But then when Kristina blew up in the warehouse explosition in 2002, oh my GAWD, the woman blew ME away. I kept the memorial service on tape for all these years and I watched it a couple of months ago, and she still has me in tears -- in the scene where she shoves Kristina's ash-filled urn in Sonny's face and she accidentally drops it. :o The Emmy should've been hers in 2003 FOR SURE!

I have that very scene in wmv, saved on my hard drive somewhere. NLG was exceptional. Everything I'd ever felt about Sonny, Jason and the mob, she said in that scene.

Much as LW's version of Carly has been grating on my nerves recently, I wish TIIC would realize that there is room for more than one female "centerpiece" on their show. Once upon a time, GH had Brenda, SB's Carly, Alexis, Liz and others sharing out SL time. They could do it again -- IF the will was there.

Nancy is the best actress on daytime bar none. She deserves another Emmy on her mantle.

I'm soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo tired of Sam. She is a one note shrieking mess. She and Ric need to make a suicide pact and jump off a bridge.

I've found Sonny tolerable lately.

I have that scene on my desktop, lol. It blows me away to this day.

Good show. I am liking Sam again (a surprise I know). This sleeping with Ric (with her drunk Ric took advantage of her, Sonny and Sam laid into Ric correctly that the only reason he did Sam is because she's Jason's ex. This cancer storyline with Alexis I believe, will make Sam and Alexis very close and they'll get over their problems (hopefully). I think GH is foreshadowing Ric's death, and I sure hope Ric ends up dead (although I like Rick Hearst). Ric needs to go. I hope Jason and Sam get back together too.

I do wish that Elizabeth didn't have sex with Jason. Big mistake Elizabeth. I'm glad she's gonna help Lucky thru his drug addiction. I hope she smacks down Dumb-Belle Maxie-Ho. I want this Ho off GH ASAP. Please GH do NOT break up Elizabeth & Lucky.
