What other Soap has that been done at? @Taoboi I honestly have never seen that happen. I heard many stories about ideal castings missing out on the role though, but to let the actor go cause now the other is available is a little unprofessional to me. I could see if Robinson originated the role, and left the show, and he was booked when they approached him to come back, but this is a new show, and if the talent I wanted couldn't join at the beginning. I either rework it so that the character is off-screen until he's ready or he just loses out. This is distasteful IMHO. If I were Maurice I would never come back to Daytime.

💯 I wholeheartedly agree. I said it myself for many years. Yeah, the Adam gaslighting Dixon storyline was top-tier storytelling. I'm a huge Brooke fan and it is in my top 5 best AMC storylines Ever! sidebar: I believe every word in Megan’s book. Half of the things in there have already been confirmed; stuff like Kate/James' onset drama was being talked about on boards 2 decades ago. That's all.

RHOA I enjoyed every scene except Porsha with her mom, they're clearly setting up a Porsha/Shamea fallout. Kenya is actually getting a really good edit this season, the limited camera time makes her more likable to me. And, it makes you miss her because she is the only one playing EP and pushing the stories. I am also loving Cynthia in her limited role. Having her dish out wise advice just feels right. Brit is great around the other ladies, truthfully she comes off as very subtle and sweet; but around her husband, it's like another show. Shamea and Kelli are top-tier housewives imo. They are adding the wealth, events, substance, and revealing layers to their personality. Shamea and Angela have a nice feud percolating. And I am guessing Kelli and Porsha will become Frienemies. I like Charles more than I like Angela. Overall, the show is decent, and for the first time in years the newbies are carrying the show. Porsha and Drew are the weak spots for me right now. I have no reaction to Drew crying cause I don't care. Thank you! I will try it out.

@detroitpiston I didn't notice the chemistry between Jacob and Chelsea, but I do think they look better together.

I don't think anyone was shocked to learn Marcel and Joey were connected LOL.

I was okay, with the daughters, but a son should have been in the mix. I'm sure they looked at the success of the Faux-silver story and Kendall’s introduction and figured Daughters would provide more drama for her, I digress. Great idea, I agree! A story this big definitely should be stretched out for a bit of time. And that's what I like about her. Same. I always found them more fascinating away from each other. I also enjoyed TPTB having Dixie run the Marinda Center for the online Reboot. Tad was in great form at WRCW and I hoped for more mischief after the affair with Liza.

I am devastated! Ted/Maurice was my number one. This news really upsets me, especially, for him to be the first to go. So disappointing, ugh! I'm familiar with Keith's work but I will give him grace until he airs. If Maurice didn't choose to leave on his own, I will speculate and, say that it was his look. because there must've been a reason for us barely getting any Martin/Ted scenes. Keith doesn't look much older either.

💗💗 The set design is really great. I saw him in an episode too. I agree, he was much more natural. Also, something to consider he was romantic with a woman. She has to have a secret. I have no clue what it could be though. Maybe we'll learn once Martin's secret comes out.

I am not afraid, but I agree. There has to be something more to her, right? I had the same thoughts watching the episode of Nicole being honored. The mystery & intrigue missing from that episode was “We The Audience” should've knew something about Nicole none of the characters knew. On one of the podcasts I listen to called Nicole The Black Marlena LOL, I am not sure I want her to go down that crazy/split personality/Twin route yet.

I agree, Kat and Eva are some of the best parts of watching the show. Ambry(Eva) really stood out to me as a natural from day one. I wouldn't make them related though, I believe there is greater story options without that. These two have the potential to become Iconic and sit at the table with Vicki/Dorian, Brooke/Erica, heck even Phyllis/Dru. Let's see if the writers rise to the occasion.
