I doubt very seriously if the status of Carly, Nina, Sonny will change. I believe they all have 4 episode guarantees. Anyway, just watched the show & I have only one typical soapy thought. Name change for the hospital: General NoHIPAA Hospital where your secrets are out in the open all the time!

That is bizarre. I left a comment that I suppose they won't like: 1. Another World was neither a spin-off or a sister soap to As the World Turns. 2. Another World was never offered to CBS. It was intended from the start for NBC. They were avid to have an Irna Phillips show. 3. What was said was that DAYS has no HR Dept. & that was why Ken reached out to Sony to do the investigation. And that's true. DAYS has no HR Dept. Apparently Alarr would often make some terrible crack & then say "It sure is lucky we don't have HR!" But then he'd also say, "Just kidding!" At least one of the other soaps has its own HR dept & also has "intimacy coordinators" who govern love scenes. (Govern may not be the right word.) What was said, and is true & accurate, about the PR Dept. is that it was Alarr himself who dismantled it & fired those people back in June.

Jason47 has posted that the "dyke" comment was said to Judi Evans. On her IG acct she had previously described wearing that jumpsuit & hairstyle. Alarr is a very bad man. Word has leaked out that Fran Drescher called Ken & set up a meet between a SAGAFTRA rep & him & Sony!

I have heard that some actresses have said they are not willing to work with Alarr anymore. The thing is that if they wanted to, NBCU & Peacock could ride in on a big white horse & SAVE DAYS!! They're in the most likely win-win position. Of course they lost money earlier this year.

@Xanthe Yeah, the protecting I think of Derek being effective with is of Felicia. But, ya know I definitely don't think Stacy & Derek are as magical as Catlin & Sally were.

I believe their biggest problem is that they think they can make it up as they go along. Liz's parents & the Reiko story, the Hook, the year-long leukemia story & even the revenge porn shaggy dog case all would tend to suggest that - guess what - you have to decide on one ending ahead of time.
