Thank you for saying so. I just found out that the few months that Jennifer Bransford played Carly, the whole time the show was waiting for LW to be finished at Guiding Light. Sometimes I think that is also when a character grows.

In case you'd like to know, today is Laura Wright's anniversary. It was Sweeps Nov. 2005 when they introduced her as Carly. 19 years ago today. How can it possibly have been so long?!!!

Speaking of NLG & posting, i think it's interesting that she has only said one thing about Kelly & that was to wish her well. And, under the circumstances perhaps that is a good thing. Of course, after last week she may post something about the Davis women.

So, on January 15, 2009, a Westie puppy was born into a litter, a family home breeder, in Braselton, GA. That's a town whose claim to fame is that Kim Basinger bought it to keep it from going bankrupt. It was where she was from. It's on the outskirts of Metro Atlanta. 8 weeks later, on a rainy Saturday afternoon, we drove there to meet her. On the way we passed a beauty shop with the name emblazoned on the building, Ruby's. At that home, there was the mother dog & off in the back somewhere the daddy dog & 2 pups left. As soon as we walked in, this little perfect Polar bear looking pup strode right over & up to me & that was the moment I knew she'd be going home with us. We played with her & talked both to the dogs & to the people. We did give some attention to her sister. But, there was never any question about it. I wrote a check & we concluded our business. She was delighted to be going with us. Melissa was driving & so I held her & she curled up on my chest & promptly went to sleep. Because of the shop & because of Ruby Bridges, we named her Ruby & her full name is Ruby Scardaville Bridges. So, as you know she's had a health crisis since earlier this summer. Today when she woke up she was sick, throwing up, couldn't stop, couldn't eat. Melissa fixed some chicken especially for her but she couldn't even eat that. So, she went to lie down. And, well, Ruby did not get up. Sadly, we now say that our girl has died, passed, crossed over the Rainbow Bridge & we are both sure she ran right into Margi's arms. In Loving Memory of Ruby, born Jan. 15, 2009, died Oct. 26, 2024.

I had no idea! You obviously do fine. I imagine it's something you are always aware of while other people very well may not notice.

His name on the list, of course, was a shock to many people, including me. He's a Breakdown Writer. It's been said - and I believe the person who posted about it knew what they were talking about - that they are starting over-staffed & not everyone will be staying permanently. The reason they are starting over-staffed is because some of them are new to soaps, so they wanted to be sure to have enough people who know the ropes of what actually happens.

Yes, but imagine what she's going to be waking up to! - Her Dad is dead - Her aunt is dead - Her son is a teenager and taller than she is - Her daughter is missing and on the run with Valentin - The lady who saved her life was engaged to her ex, and is now dead - The guy who put her in a coma is her uncle & he now prays for her & reads the Bible to her - Her oldest brother is in prison. - Her boat got blown up in Greenland.

Well, when you get to this point, I have to say Thursday was best, Wednesday was next & that does leave Friday as last in terms of Win/Place/Show so to me all week was superb but I can agree on some days "doing it better" than other days.

No one ever mentions this young man!!! It's like Marcus Taggert on GH. Only the fans remember these characters! It's some kind of mystery, as to why.
