Count me in as another fan of Reuben & Josie.

Yes, Stavros Cassadine on GH was the last role he played but I thought it was a successful recast. I would call both Bobby Reno & Shane Roberts were both unpopular characters for RKK. Be interesting to hear other thoughts about these roles.

When you think about this, it is maddening! GH essentially stole DA from DAYS by offering so much money that it couldn't be turned down. At that time she was said to be the highest paid person in daytime. At DAYS she not only had a character but one with a backstory, family, a future, etc. We know at least that Bill Bell didn't think that. He valued Lee & considered them to be a partnership. He looked at her as his equal. Agnes Nixon & her husband Bob didn't treat each other as problems to be solved. Clearly the Cordays were equals also. Irna, of course never married.

Heard 2 new spoilers last night in a podcast, Suds & Squared Media 1. Apparently in April GH will present The Nurses' Ball. Fans speculated immediately if Jennifer Hudson would appear as a vocal performer. Also would Blaze be back from tour 2. Kelly Monaco has a new gig, either DAYS or B&B or Y&R, thought to begin taping in March, also thought to be a new character Ironically now we will never hear her name names or tell the tale she promised to tell.

I was one of the fans watching Steve daily on two different soaps - DAYS & GH. DAYS because their tape to air is so off & GH because it was time.

Kate has her haters. But, largely people think she's great in the role as now written. She was on so much for a long while, fans had Kristina fatigue.

To me Steve is so much better on GH than he was BITD. A lot's happened. DAYS was good for him. Y&R may have been also.

Bunim & Lemay traded insults. She didn't think his scenes were sexy enough. I forget what Pete's rejoinder was. I think something along the lines of her not being able to recognize a good writer.

No, Otalia had zero to do with Nuke. I'm chuckling that anyone had this thought, which is total news to me. Nuke, BTW, was Bianca with guys - literally. ATWT went to someone who wrote on the Bianca coming out storyline & asked her if she could do it again, only with guys!!! Obviously she could - and did. Anyway, for 2 women, adults, of an age, who had been with men their whole lives to turn to each other was WAY MORE THREATENING than any other story they could've come up with. But, Wheeler made a mistake thinking they could do it so chaste. And why not chase the lgbtq+ audience? =

Tanisha Harper as this Jordan, I do not think she is awful. 🤷‍♀️I also do not think she is wonderful. MB, Mo IMO is getting worse & worse. But, still, he is better with Kate Mansi & with Dom.

In the group zoom I watch in we'll watch GH at 2:15 as usual & then watch BTG at about 3:20. Cannot wait!!!

It was incredibly easy to look at Olivia & her relationship history & conclude that she tried over & over again with so many different men & had failure after failure after failure & then BIM BAM BOOM she found true love & a love where she was able to be giving, generous & unselfish in love with a woman. Besides the fact that some women aren't gay & there's just this one woman they are 100% vulnerable to. GL never tried to sell that they were gay, just that they were in love. I believe that he talked specifically of never killing anyone like the serial killer Fax Neuman's gruesome murder of Frankie Frame compared to Walter Curtin dying in a car accident. So, I think he was correct in what he said & if it seemed not to be that may have to be on me for relating it poorly. But I would tend to agree that anyone can make a ludicrous statement!!!!

No. And her tenure at GH was 12 years! No. He somewhat changed his mind when the WLS interviewer informed him about her murder of Frankie Frame & death of Maureen Bauer. He made that remark, I believe, in regard to his watching her sell the John Hudson/Felicia Gallant affair storyline to the 3 actors involved. It is a perfect example of the kind of story that fans hate for being against character integrity, etc. but actors love because it's something new for them to do. After he heard about those 2 deaths he said he would never have killed a character like that & that he never did so. She was an excellent Musical Producer. She sort of invented musical montages that highlight couples in love. She perfected block voting to win Emmys. She was the EP at OLTL when Michael Zaslow played the part of David Rinaldi afflicted with ALS & using a laptop to communicate so that he was functioning as an actor at the end of his life & so had that dignity afforded to him. She was not responsible for his being allowed to do so, though. But she did not prevent it. There are people on staff at soaps, or actors who like her because she may have caused them to get a job, etc. IMO she is a Soapkiller in the ranks with Brian Frons, Susan D. Lee, etc. but I also try to be fair.

And the first we've seen Avery in, maybe a year? We saw Donna in Dec. but Avery was upstairs.

It's like there are two different JFPs - one fully in power & one on the way out with distinctly waning power. We have to remind ourselves that actors - some of them - like this person. I doubt that either VW or KZ tangled with JFP, but VW was in a position to tell a fan daily whatever the fans needed to know about goings on. That is why her plan to kill off Donna failed! We knew & began an organized protest as soon as it was said at the studio. Of course that's a bittersweet victory because we saved Donna but lost Frankie, dammit.

About when in this lovely (thanks) chronology was Mary Ellis Bunim there? Patrick Mulcahey there?
