She's on course to sell one million copies of 25 on the first day in the UK. In the US, they've shipped 3.6 million copies, not to mention the 100,000 Amazon pre-orders and all the digital downloads. Insane numbers! When I was at Target, three people were picking up a copy of the deluxe edition at the same time I was. I've never seen that happen before.

Watching Season 5 for the first time. I am so thrilled with how much I've grown to love Lexie, considering I thought I would hate her when she first showed up at the end of season 3. Sorta enjoying the Denny ghost and sorta not. But the Heigl/Morgan chemistry is so special, they just had to do it. OWEN HUNT IS MY BOO BOO. My God. I was in love the MOMENT he showed up. He and Cristina are my #1 interest this season. #2 would be Callie's coming out (which has been handled damn well) and her relationship with Erica, although Erica just quit and disappeared. No idea if she's ever coming back. President Roslin from BATTLESTAR GALACTICA just showed up as a surgeon with Asperger's and she went in on Bailey. Oh, snap. It was also Sadie's first episode and I think I hate her.

That was wonderful. Such fun! I wish I knew they were doing a DAYS episode. All that amazing soap material in vaults somewhere, never repeated, never utilized or monetized... Breaks my heart. I wonder if they'll wait until all the soaps are canceled and then realize they could make some use of it.

I thought the same thing! The news isn't the content of the lyrics (which we haven't heard, really). The news is that the woman whose last album has sold nearly 30 million copies (11 million of them in the US), who has the highest digital sales album ever, who is universally adored for her voice and songwriting talent and managed to be a superstar despite the immense hangups our world has about overweight women, who has the most successful album of the decade so far, who had the #1 album two years in a row, and on and on and on, is releasing a new album. She'll slay! Hatuuurs to the left.

25 will be out November 20, with 11 tracks. It sounds as if "Hello" will be out tomorrow. Can't wait! Here's the article. I wasn't. She should take as much time as needed to make this great. Besides, as she explained in the article, life happened!
