WHAT!!!! The song is OK but that video was MAGNIFICENT. YAAAAAS BEY, BOO, SLAY THEM ALL. Particularly loved the little boy and the "stop shooting us," Beyonce hanging out of the car with that hair, her double flip-off, the car sinking into the water.... YAS.

Emmerdale: Discussion Thread
Finally catching up with this week. Emma was hilarious hiding Noah and then using it to blackmail Charity into putting Ross on the birth certificate and giving him shared custody. I gotta give it to her -- she played that well. Ross was also funny sticking it to Cain, and the Moira/Charity scenes were great. The Chas/Aaron stuff was phenomenal. The beach scenes were beautiful, and such a welcome relief to see him happy and smiling. He was so cute when he became child-like again. The moment when Chas mentioned fish and chips and Aaron's face dropped was electrifying and led into his confession really well while still allowing it to be a surprising moment. Telling his story was just as much a tearjerker for me as it was for Aaron. Especially that moment when he said, "And then he--" and covered his face in shame was so, so well done.

That's right -- it ain't gonna happen. Hopefully Yosuckda has made a big mistake. It's really getting ridiculous with the network-sized seasons.

Coronation Street: Discussion Thread
So fun to have Jenny back! I hope they commit to a great story for this, although it is a bit much that both Kevin and Anna each have a major figure from their pasts come back at the same time to cause trouble. It's always great to see a lot of Rita and I loved her "I never regret meeting you" line. Alan was the man who famously attacked Rita in the late 80s and forever made her into a victim, wasn't he? The stuff with Kevin and Audrey was also fantastic. I haven't watched Jan. 29 yet, so I don't know if Audrey really had a heart attack but Sue Nicholls was PHENOMENAL and I cried as she begged Ken not to leave her to die alone and finally confessed her feelings for him. Those two are Meanwhile, Mary and her 'bad day' were hilarious. Just laugh-out-loud funny!

Season 3 is SO damn good. Brandon is the biggest assh0le in the whole world. Die, Brandon. Kelly and Dylan's 'affair' is FIRE. I did not expect them to bring in Scott's sister. Nicholle Tom is doppy, and clearly has never touched a cigarette in her life, but I like it. And to think I almost skipped season 3

So good to see Gary again. What a beautiful man he is. I'm liking the way Phelan's story is shaping up -- he's planning something and it looks like poor Jason might get hurt because of it. Just don't mess up his face! Sally running for council is great and hilarious. God, I love that annoying woman. Ken and Audrey = I cannot WAIT for them to get together. So curious to see what Rita's new storyline is. At the very least, it should be... interesting to see what happens.

Emmerdale: Discussion Thread
God, the show is on baby overkill right now. I don't think there was a single scene in all of Friday's episode that didn't feature, was about or mention one or more babies and it's almost been like that for a week now. WAY too many babies around. Just like I thought, Laurel miscarries and then blames herself. Big surprise there. Although I suppose in 10 days they could pull off a twist and we learn Laurel's still pregnant after all. Laurel and Ashley in the church was a fantastic scene, although it pisses me off so much what great writing they're giving them while abused and raped Aaron is nowhere to be found. Yes, please. Kill them. Kill them both. That's what I thought when they had that shot of Tess sitting at the bar while Paddy and Rhona left the hotel. It's sorta hilarious how Tess keeps popping up on Paddy. But I am bored to tears by the story.

Coronation Street: Discussion Thread
Well, even if she does plan to get rid of people at some point, I don't see why she'd announce it publicly before she even starts working on the show or why she'd want to go in with that energy/under those circumstances, making threats. Also, the network probably has a huge say in who stays/goes, so the only solution is to simply say you don't plan any major firings and then proceed with your plans once approved by the execs. After all, the last thing you want is the online audience hating you for the suspected firings before you even get there. That being said, it's probably more wise to get there, write for these people as best you can, and if they don't work out after a few months, OFF WITH THEIR HEADS (she can get rid of Fiz quickly, though. I'll write her a letter telling her that's not a problem).

Beverly Hills, 90210 Discussion Thread
Doing Season 3 for the first time. Man, Brandon is being such a lowkey nasty assh0le this season! Andrea gets herself a great boyfriend (I can't believe they wasted Peter Krause on a nothing role like this), who turns out to be Republican (so you know it'll be over by the end of the episode) but this is when Brandon decides he wants Andrea, so he kisses her and uses a DEAF CHILD to make Andrea feel guilty and manipulate her into missing out on a great job opportunity AND dump her gorgeous, tall boyfriend, whom she was REALLY getting along with, so he can have her for himself, only to go ahead and start dating some hoe named Brooke on the very next episode? A hoe, btw, that he stole from his best friend, Steve. This is supposed to be nice, moral, wholesome Brandon? Dayuuuum! Meanwhile, the chemistry between Dylan and Kelly is INTENSE. Complete fire. This is the affair that needs to happen. The Donna stuff with her becoming a model was ridiculous. GTFO! Brian Austin Green is finally starting to grow into the gorgeous man he eventually became.
