I think it's terribly exciting. There's potential there and I can't wait to see how it turns out. Primetime soaps are notoriously difficult but a longtime fan giving it a shot and bringing a daytime soap opera to primetime is not something I'll automatically dismiss. Hopefully, we'll have a good show in our hands.

OC The Corona stuff wasn't as bad as I thought it would be; seems they showed like 3 months in one episode. Hopefully it'll continue this way.

OC After last night's episode, we are finally reaching the COVID portion of the season and I don't know if I can sit through it. I have enough anxiety dealing with it in everyday life. The Real Housewives of Corona is not it for me. And I have been enjoying Braunwyn's recovery storyline but I want my entertainment to distract me from the real world not remind me of it.

OC I found Braunwyn dealing with her alcoholism quite compelling and LOVED the stuff with her son. That was wonderful. Shannon is a jealous, lying, fake ass bitch. I think Kelly spent the entire episode making stupid comments.

I'm almost done rewatching Season 1. I've only ever seen up to Season 3 so it'll be interesting to see where it goes from there. Don't think I've seen a single full episode after that.

Thank you so much for the 1993 and 2001 episodes! I've been waiting for YEARS (decades almost) for somebody in Greece to make B&B and Y&R available! lol Those two shows did so well over there and were broadcast for so long, I just couldn't believe there was no one who recorded them. Hopefully some Kay Alden era Y&R will surface (or earlier!)

I've heard of foreign soaps doing flashbacks with a previous actor in the role. Of course, you just know that'd confuse some Americans a lot, and is probably why they won't do it. Still, it would open things up so much.

I can only speak for myself: I'm sure the scandal hurt her a little but I've been growing dissatisfied with the show the last 2-3 seasons. It's hard to put my finger on it, but it went from a fun, hugely entertaining show to feeling a little routine. I honestly think she's tired of doing the show to an extent and the fact she keeps bringing in Guest Hosts (to the point where it's now occurring every 5 episodes or so) is annoying me. I'm watching the ELLEN show. If you don't want to do that many episodes, maybe just end it. She also feels less genuine and real. Cracks are showing.
