Wasn't the Tory Granger story during the Conboy era? I thought it was.

For me, the last good EP was Jill Farren F*ckUp because I started to watch the show during her reign as a young child in the early 90s. While Jill has many duds as Khan stated, I think that GL 91-94 was some of the best soap ever to be seen on screen. Some might beg to differ but I don't. While I hated that she killed Maureen, that story was crafted so well from start to finish. I hated the fact that we lost the Grand Dame of daytime, Bev McKinsey, in this era too and we had plenty of dud characters, but GL was must see TV. Jill might suck at getting rid of the right/wrong characters but GL in this era had some of the best lighting, music, and sets on TV. Jill gets the production side down to a "T" but she sucks at everything else. I didn't mind Rauch or Conboy's era that much because I did still enjoy the show up until that point, but for me, they didn't match up to the JFP years. Rauch's years focused too heavily on Reva and Annie, and while I loved both characters, i preferred characters like Vanessa and Holly, who were practically given scraps in that era. And I didn't like how Roger, my favorite GL character of all time, was recast and written out stupidly under Rauch's reign. But I can't complain because that era was the start of my beloved "Manny" (JBL's Michelle & Danny). And I liked the Santos clan on GL along with other characters like Drew, Selina, and Ben. Conboy's era was alright too b/c I loved Tony and Marah. Blake and Ross were driving story. I liked Cassie & Richard. But I feel that this era was the beginning of the drop of production (IMO) as the sets started looking cheaper, and history was tossed out the window (Mary Ann Carruthers saga). And don't get me started on Ellen.... She'll forever go down as the worst EP in soap history beside her "teacher," Chris Goutman (AW & ATWT). Now anything I see pre-91 on Youtube is good with me. Sheer classic. I tend to enjoy it all, even stories that I've read were unfavorable by fans (i.e. the Paul Valere story or Tamerlain/Spaulding saga). I'd kill though if someone had stories from the 70s. Reading synopsis, I bet the writing and production was simple but stellar.

I would not sleep on Kenya. She and Viv share a lot of the same friends as they both were out in Hollywood competing for the same roles. I think a good strategy of Kenya's though would be for her to reach out to Lisa and Joyce, both who have tons of money and despise Brandi, and get them in her corner.

I think that Brandi is done doing the dragging. I think parts two and three are of her getting dragged. Once Ken gets out there, he's gonna deliver the TKO to Brandi. Only people I see coming for Lisa in parts two and three are the Richards, and Lisa couldn't give two f*cks about them at this point.

BH won best city because Lisa has VERY loyal fans (Yes, I'm one but I don't have time to vote. I got better things to do ). They probably spent hours voting for them to win. ATL only lost b/c the entire cast is polarizing with fans but at the end of the day, we all know ATL is the best city. They don't need an award to show that. They have ratings and they'll be the last women standing at the end of the day. Vicki winning lifetime achievement ... meh. I understand it but I think that Nene and Bethenny (hell even Teresa) deserved it more. Those three women made HWs a household name (and franchise), and they've been the three (along with Lisa) able to crossover to mainstream. And Kenya deserved her awards; she put in WORK as a rookie. More than any rookie I've seen in HWs history. Only one I could see touching her was Aviva of NYC or Marlo had she been made an official HW.

Well she needs to learn b/c Nene is dogging her husband out. I'm glad that Kandi dog-walked Nene in her talking heads too. Nene was extremely hypocritical.

Tonight's episode was MESSY but so good. I just hope that Cynthia checks Nene next week. Because had that been me, I would've chin-checked her ass real quick for stepping to Peter. Only thing that bothered me tonight (besides Gregg being extra) was Porsha chiming in on the Phaedra/Kenya situation. B*tch, you clearly don't know sh*t about marriage or you'd still be married. I'm so glad that Kenya checked her real quick.

Yaaassss!!! I love me some Aviva too. She's like the Kenya of NYC. Messy. Loony. Delusional. Not afraid to go against the fray and ruffle feathers. Aviva is going to be the catalyst that revives this show. I'm hoping her and Ramona do mend fences and team up and take on Carloe and Heather, both who grate my nerves (especially Heather, who is now trying to become "street" because she worked for Diddy's punk ass once upon a time ). Long live Queen Aviva.

RHOBH reunion: This reunion solidified why this show needs a shakeup and that person needing to leave is Kim. Her segment was boring me to tears. No one cares for her or her dog. Go away, Kim. Fade into oblivion. Joyce so disappointed me in not checking Brandi the way she should've. Joyce had too much info on Yo and Brandi to not spill it. I wonder if it was left on the cutting room floor. Yolanda grated my nerves tonight. Her aloofness was not needed, and I'm over her using her "Lyme Disease" as an excuse. First of all, b*tch, you couldn't've been locked up for 18 months as it wasn't too long ago, you were shooting season three of RHOBH. And I'm glad she got called out to the carpet for the heart situation but of course, she coped out like a coward. Freddy Kruger--I mean Brandi ... Irrelevant. This b*tch has tainted RHOBH and I'm to the point I'm about to sign that petition floating around to get her off the show. Get this low-class, slut monkey off the show. Back to the slums, trash box. I'm over Kyle and her whining. She always wants to move on but always rehashes history. Pick a path and stick on it. And her complaining about the "Dream Team" was so hypocritical when Kyle has always had a clan of bandits (Taylor, Faye, Adrienne, Kim, even Lisa on s1) doing her bidding and being rude to the underdogs. I want Carlton to return next season but her coming for Joyce was just stupid. I'm glad Joyce shut her down real quick about the husband situation. Carlton can talk about sex but when Joyce does it, it's gross (in her mind). I find that to be hypocritical. If you're gonna be crass, then don't call anyone else out about doing the same. Lisa was flawless tonight. I wish she would've went in more, but that's not her personality. She was most definitely not giving a f*ck tonight and I don't blame her. I can't wait until next week when she asks Kyle why does she want to be her friend so badly. And King Ken coming in and shutting down Brandi ... Oh I cannot wait!

Oh RHODC ... Had Bravo greenlit it another season, I think it would've been a breakout. Possibly surpassed RHOBH as the third rated HW show. Maybe even NJ with all the women getting divorces (all which were messy), Michale running off with another rocker, and had they added Erica as a HW ... this show would've been a hit. I hate that Bravo cut the show too early.

Last I know, Kim and Sheree are still cool. Knowing Sheree, she's gonna shade the h*ll out of the four (Nene, Cynthia, Kandi, & Phaedra) that were there when she was there. She doesn't talk to any of them and left on bad terms with all of them. I see her snatching Nene and Phaedra if given the chance. Kim, on the other hand, will shade only Kandi and maybe the new girls b/c she's cool with Nene and now Cynthia. Yep. She called her "ashy face," which caused a ruckus on Twitter (Brandi got dragged that night), and called Kenya a man. She later went on to say in a magazine that she fears Kenya, which she should. Kenya will gleefully mind f*ck Brandi WAY worse than what she feels Lisa did. As I stated before, I wouldn't be surprised if Kenya reached out to Lisa AND Joyce during CA (if her being on the show is true), and getting them to donate on her behalf. Kenya is that calculating and knowing how pissed they are at Brandi, I could see Joyce and Lisa doing it. Besides the Umansky/Richards, Camille, Gebbias, and Fosters, Brandi really has no friends I can see putting up money on her behalf in this competition (i.e. Celebrity Apprentice). Lisa would've been her biggest donor and gotten her friends to put up money (i.e. Mohammed) had she not burned that bridge. I see Brandi getting far like Nene but not winning and only being kept for drama. Kenya, on the other hand, could get far, raise money (as she has old friends in Black Hollywood), and possibly win. Kenya is cunning.

Oh I am all for it too. Team Kenya b/c I know she'll eff Brandi up. I hope Kenya also reaches out to Lisa, to stick it to Brandi, to assist in donating on her behalf.

I'm guessing they're having a trip stateside so that Teresa, if she's attending, will be close to home if her sentencing is near. I just elfin' hate how Atlanta went to Savannah and Mexico, BH went to Palm Springs and Puerto Rico, and NJ is going to Boca Raton--all vacation areas that cheap and near home when the OC, one of the lowest rated shows, went to f*ckin' Bali?! Are you kidding me? OC would be going on stateside/Bahama trips while I'd send my top three shows further away to more exotic areas. I swear ATL be paying for RHOC & RHOM to stay afloat....

I thought the finale was OK. Could've peaked A LOT more but I'm guessing Tyler is saving that for the 2nd half of the season. And Benny isn't dead. Kathryn did move him. I just hope his a** ain't in the bed ALL next season and that Candice finds out the entire truth early on, so she can go on to dismantle the Cryer clan. Tyler's main issues is that he drags out certain things, doesn't hit the beats of others, and he focuses too much on trying to the barbs between characters (in dialogue) instead of developing them even more.

Yep. NJ will probably be back in May and take RHOA's old spot as they usually do.

I think the show will pick up too but I'm sure Bravo realizes that they have to rebuild their audience, which they lost, because of this "reboot."

Dare I say it but I am team Aviva. Yes, she is nutty and psycho but w/o her, this show would be dry. Plus, I feel that Heather and Carole (especially Heather at this point) have NO real reason to dislike Aviva. And I'm sure they'll edit Carole as the saint this season seeing as she's one of Andy's bosom buddies. Kristen is OK but I grew tired of her repeatedly telling her husband in a restaurant that she was gonna suck his rusty ass d*ck when they got home because he got her some earrings. Really, lady? I know that Sonja is known for her crassness but don't join her. These women (on all the franchises) need to learn that being crass and sharing your sex life for the world is nasty unless you do it in a clever manner. A little discretion is a good thing. Leave the audience with a little mystery, people.... I'm glad that Sonja has let go of her hatred for Aviva and is advising Ramona to do the same. Aviva really didn't do much to Ramona except call her "white trash." I'm glad that Ramona is moving on and giving her a chance. And I feel like there's gonna be trouble in paradise for Ramona/Sonja as they alluded to it tonight during Sonja's brunch....

Yeah but she gained it back early on too or at least is 2nd fiddle to Tamra again. Like I truly want a fall from grace with Tamra and Vicki with everyone coming for these two a la Teresa RHONJ style. Especially, Tamra.

I think you mean Tamra. And I agree ... For once, we agree. LOL. I just hope this season is the downfall of either Tamra or Vicki. Or both. But I see it being Heather's turn. She should've realized once Gretchen was gone and newer, richer HWs came in, she was gonna be the target.

So funny ... Looks like Pleather is in the hot seat this season. Bet she wishes she could take back ganging up on Alexis and Gretchen AND having it out with Lydia.
