I would never say they saw each other as competition - that would be ridiculous. However, I doubt it's lost on GF that as long as JE plays Mrs. Spencer, GF will never have a return to GH. No matter how warm their interactions for the benefit of fans/media, one does have a job at the expense of the other. I'm sure they do have their collegiality - they'd have to in some degree. But there is no indication that they make an effort to spend time together.

Can you imagine Luke if there was a Sonny/Tracy hook-up? He'd FREAK, lol. Might serve him right. We've had enough information from a variety of sources to know that JE has a mystique about her that others respect and admire, and she's one of the top in her field. What we know about the EWCBO is she's got control issues and has a history of being hard to work with. I don't think it takes a rocket scientist to figure out why GF and TR are not asked back to GH unless there's no way around it. Daytime hasn't got time for Divas/Divos. TG's face when she "won" that Emmy was enough to tell the tale - even as great as he is he couldn't hide his contempt within the first few seconds. There's one line they shovel at the LnL fans, but there's definitely another they all live by.

Who knows what Tracy is thinking. I'm sure she's not going to do anything to encourage Mayan, and will probably think Maya is using Ethan the way she started using Edward. And let us not forget Ethan is the most Luke-like of the Spencer Sibs, so I'm sure that alone makes her feel better. There's always an angle out there....

Well that's good the hear 'cause everyone else does too. I watched a few years ago when someone asked her about JE and the pause was obvious. Can we really see Tracy nursing anyone back to health? That's just not Tracy - something else is going on.

Don't know about EWCBO. When she was asked about Jane's significants there was a long pause before she said "and Jane, of course"... I think chicklette is quite aware that she's not needed now that Tracy is Mrs. Luke Spencer (ignoring any recent rewrite foolishness, of course) Funny, I'm just working on my own stuff. Afraid the muse just isn't talking.

Thanks Hooked, that's too funny. Jane does Elvis and Tony does Liz Taylor.... those two know a LOT of people. Even Ma Walton can't be there for a short stint without praising Jane. Tracy will cover Ethan's hospital bill - that's a given. But I hope they have more to do than just that. According to other spoilers BL has a 'crisis' coming up and Tracy might be involved with that. Vacation time is coming so we shall see. It's almost time for Carly's plan to go kablooie. Meh.... regardless of the debate of who's the best pairing for Luke, not a single one of them can suggest GF is a better actress than JE, and that's ultimately what TG said. (After all he's worked with and bedded Liz Taylor. He has a starting point for his comparison that's pretty impressive.) The poll in intriguing - and it's suggested to be based on Tracy's ability to forgive. She might not be the "forgiving type" but this is Luke we're talking about - he's a whole different ball game. It won't be easy but we all know it will happen. I just hope their story has teeth and isn't just played for laughs come fall. Speaking of our fair one, has anyone else noticed the pattern of those having a summer break? RC is gone and BH is on mat leave, but JE, NLG, KeMo and LA are just some of the names saying they've got less to do in August. It's almost as if it's being set up to be Brenda and the Men. YAY!!! That was the most ridiculous "return" ever, and I hope will stop anyone else from bragging that all they have to do is pick up the phone and call their buddie and suddenly they can come back. Now while it's hilarious that EWCBO whines to every mic/reporter who'll listen about how they don't want her and RC just has to pick up a phone to ask, it really does underscore the fact that if the story isn't there the actor shouldn't be either.

Yup, it's it a Quartermaine Tea Party, or something like that? Perhaps she's had her fill and will retire. She works about 2 weeks a year as it is, so I imagine her real life would appreciate fewer distractions.

Tracy and Luke will turn out the lights together. I imagine they are now enjoying their working and time off so much that there's little to entice either away - at least that's the impression TG is always giving. Nice to have it confirmed however, this will be the second time she's re-signed with GH... another ground breaker since the last time was the first time she'd every re-signed with any show. I'm sure it's influenced by pragmatism, but she wouldn't be sticking around if she didn't enjoy herself. They should have offed LC the other year.... I have no idea why they even keep her around. Wow.... wasn't she a sweetheart, He certainly hasn't been shy about the treatment of Luke over the years. Who knows what he will say after he's left GH - if anything. Labine had the "Reign of Terror" associated with her, but the general period of the 90's was horrible for Luke. When I see people crow about how wonderful Luke and LnL were in the 90's, my consistent responses is fine... glad you enjoyed it, but that WASN'T Luke. 70's Luke, 80's Luke and 00's Luke are the consistent ones. The 90's was the aberration. I wish JE would have another interview.... I want to see what's up with her. I agree she will never be a TR or EWCBO, using the press to cover for their lack of career (thank God) but still it would be nice for a catch-up.

I'm not reading anything into anything at this point. Everyone/everything seems to be taking a back-seat to Brenda, and to be quite honest at least she's someone with history and not a newcomer. It's the summer.... I catch up when I catch up and I'm not worried about it for too long. Looks like Mike Corbin is one of the body bags. Can't say I'm surprised by that. Can't say I'm bothered either. He's peripheral but that's one mobbie connection down, and not a newbie who wasn't given a chance or a member of a beloved family. As for Tracy, I think they will be doing more with Brook. Their exchange opened far too many doors. Who knows, perhaps she will join the Spencer Sibs in getting LuNacy back together so Tracy will stay out of her business.

Hi all. Back from camp will killer tan lines. I had an absolute blast with the bug bites to prove it. 2300 girls/Guiders - 15 from the USA. I spent time talking with some Guides fro Illinois who kindly explained all they symbolism of their uniforms. It's neat how every country has the same things but display them in such different ways. Nice to see that Tracy made an appearance. I liked the scenes, especially the somewhat sad "Bye, Granny" at the end. We need some Trook bonding and with Lois out of the way we might eventually get some. Loved how Tracy said Brook was much like her, and that wasn't a bragging point. Franco this time around isn't as bad as last time. Other stories are actually happening and many characters are getting involved - it's not just Jason. As for NLG's tweet, as far as I know she's not clairvoyant - if she's gone all summer and scripts aren't handed out months in advance, what does she really know? JE has vacation too, it's not as if she "disappears".

Yup. The Diva is going also (the following day so I have to trust His Nibs to get her there on time - no stress there of course. ). They it's Male Bonding time around here.... Gawd help the joint!

There are battling SI insiders on the board at the moment, so I'm not sure which "SI" is the real one. Time will bare out one or neither. Okay guys, I'm out of here for the next couple of weeks. I'm going to be a Security Guider at the International Guiding Camp were having in Canada to celebrate 100 years of Guiding in Canada (the US Girl Scouts do it in 2012). Wish me well. My first shift is midnight to 8 AM on Wednesday night. I've got my head lamp and rain suit - gotta be prepared. (I can handle two weeks without my kids - two weeks without internet however, totally different thing....) Hopefully there will be some Tracy to report on my return. Have a great trip, Hooked, and everyone else who's travelling.
