  1. Yeah, the Brenda/Lulu catch-up was quite sweet - and a nice nod to history considering Brenda was started in the business by EWCBO. Until I'm proven wrong, I'm going to believe that Tracy is giving Luke the rope to hang himself. And I'm STILL not buying that the 2005 wedding was a sham.
  2. As long as we get to see some "nuptials" they can have the hang-over from hell.
  3. You too? Thank you LB, I'm not the only one. I just watched and that was my instinct - Mama knows something is off and she's playing along. Monica also did exactly what I figured she'd do, and for the reasons I figured she'd go along with it. I'm glad she spelled it out for Maya - in any other situation her ass would be grass. Cutest moment was Luke asking for the "honour of her becoming his wife". At least the LuNacy is cute, regardless of who's pulling the ultimate scam. For those who haven't seen, not much to recap. Tracy is being the dotting wife, Monica is "in" on the game plan, Ethan thinks he's brilliant, Maya is nervous as a cat on a hot tin roof and Luke is NOT doing that good a job at acting like a heart attack patient. Last scene was Luke asking Tracy to be his wife. Tomorrow we'll hopefully get our answer.
  4. I still haven't watched Friday's GH, so I really must. Loved the JE shout-out, and TG's latest interview which included her not "wanting to work that hard" for extra stuff makes me think she's very content with having TG's vacation schedule - even if we're not. What it does do is have them both in top form when they return in the fall of the year. (It also makes the over-exposed look even more tired and overdone.) EDIT Okay, finally saw Friday's GH and I've got to say Mama ran the gamut with her emotional portrayal. In the end she looked like she was ready to cry as she stood over Luke. Should be good as they pick up today. Luke thanked Lulu for getting in on the scam but something tells me she didn't know it was a scam until Luke thanked her. Maya is definitely a weak link and SOOOOOOOOO not in the same league with Ethan. She hasn't got the stones to play the Spencermaine game, that's for darn sure. I'm looking forward to Lucky joining in on the family fun - and I must say Siobhan is growing on me. I'm even starting to tune out the accent.
  5. The mention of Laura's birthday is odd - GH really has nothing to do with Laura on any level. Even Laura's so-called "devoted children" want Tracy as their mom, so I can't see why the date as her birthday is being factored into this. Perhaps it's another play with the LnLers. Lordy knows they're an easy group to manipulate. Remember last Christmas "Laura watches over her family" or some such rot, and it was a Spencermaine celebration with Tracy bringing gifts to the grandchildren while everyone was at the house waiting for Luke to arrive. When he did he was all about Tracy (loved that kiss ). The LnLers were convinced Laura would put in an appearance and it was just that cheap angel on the tree, lol. Luke's panic just seems odd regardless. Tracy is not a showy person and Luke knows that better than anyone, so he'd see right through her planning a huge wedding. The whole thing just sounds off. I'm not going to get too worked up either way. Just the other week we were bothered by Luke doing the heart attack route again, and it turns out that Luke is playing it but Ethan is the one orchestrating the whole thing. With spoilers including Edward, Ethan and Maya in LuNacy's wedding there's nothing to stop Luke responding to any of their machinations, not Tracy or marrying her directly.
  6. The only thing I can figure is: A - the spoilers are misleading (which is always a probability), or B - Tracy is going so OTT in a drive to send Luke away that it's starting to work (She is the self-sabotaging type after all)
  7. On the upside, we get to see a LuNacy wedding actually happen (I hope) On the downside, will Luke PLEASE make up his frakking mind!!! It is all about Tracy or not? Pick you pick and stick with it.
  8. Thanks Ms. Q, I haven't had a chance to watch yet. Nice to see you around btw.
  9. Okay - it wouldn't take much for me to miss it. I just followed the link back anyway and I'm good. TG interviews (the good ones, not the ones where the interviewer can't get past LnL) are always interesting. I had no idea some of the stuff he's done. I agree that IMDB is faulty at best and a joke at worst, so it's nice to see TG talk about things from the past. I like the honesty that he was too young to know who he might have rubbed shoulders with - that's real. Also he might be okay with it now - the Oliver Stone stuff - but I imagine that must have been hard at the time. I don't envy anyone who has to endure the "celebrity" culture of Hollywood.
  10. I don't remember getting the link for part one, but oh well.... it's a Jane Elliot shout-out. While I do agree he needs more Janey material, at the same time we have no idea what she limits him to saying. Remember when NLG actually admitted one of the conditions of her lunch with Jane was that nothing could be posted on Twitter? I wouldn't be surprised if Daytime's Greta Garbo doesn't keep it pretty strict. TG would respect that. As for the wedding in Vegas, I'm just kicking back and waiting. We know LuNacy will get remarried at some point and the sooner the better. How it happens doesn't really matter. What does matter to me is that it's LuNacy together. Nothing in spoilers can be taken literally or even seriously some times. Just be prepared and enjoy the ride. I've got 45 cartons of Girl Guide cookies in my house to sell. I wish I could ship them across the border 'cause then I'd be abusing all of you to buy some. They're for raising money for Ruah to go to Switzerland in a couple of years and it always sounds better on paper. I'm always glad when cookie season is over!
  11. Yeah, loved that exchange. No on can banter like these two.
  12. Oh hell, everything Guza does is some kind of movie rip-off. That's not news. Gotta say the LuNacy stuff today was rather sweet. Tracy's face when she was caught by Maya outing that Trace was crying over Luke was priceless. Jane doesn't even have to move much and her face/eyes say everything. I love it! Luke is also realizing how much Tracy does love him but there is a huge roadblock in the way. However he was just about back in her good graces when selfish Ethan ruined it. Normally I love the kid, but today that boy needed a serious slap up the side of the head. Even Maya asked him WTF after he ruined Luke's talking to Tracy. Luke now believes he has no choice but to do the heart attack routine to get her back. Cute Trucky-in-abstentia reference. Luke explained what happened to the money (including that he shouldn't have taken it and was about to double it) but had to go help Lucky who was in trouble. Tracy immediately was concerned about Lucky. Very sweet. Maya is on board because she wants Tracy manageable, which by definition means Mrs. Spencer is in need of Mr. Spencer. AI still overacts, but perhaps being in the ring with the Masters for the next little while will help her. It seemed to when she first began. Personally, I'm good with Maya exiting stage right, but I appreciate the argument that that reduces the non-white population by 50% if she leaves. Nothing much was advanced today, and Luke had one cheesy like about "lock and load" in reference to putting the heart attack in motion. BTW Luke was faking the attack at the end of today with Tracy standing over him laughing and Mayan realizing they were late to help him. Tomorrow we should see more of these four.
  13. We're jumping to conclusions. After all we pegged this fake heart attack as a Luke re deux, when in fact it was Ethan and Luke was initially against the idea. Who knows what we will get. I do have to give Guza credit on this one - sure he's going to the same well too often BUT he's drinking from a different cup each time. It's not good enough of course, but at least it's not a carbon copy of a previous story. I think we just have to wait and see how this one plays out. Remember this is Guza/JFP - they are far too fond of their plays on words that make more sense after the fact than before.
  14. Looking at it logically, December is not a good time for LuNacy to get remarried. The best time would be either April or May of next year for two reasons. First too much happens in December and secondly April/May are LuNacy months of significance. Obviously LuNacy doesn't get remarried in December, we can all see that coming. But there's nothing to assume Maya and Ethan do either. As for Luke running to the hills, that's just ridiculous considering he's not running from Tracy at all and she's putting more pressure on him currently. We also have that spoiler from Guza that "Hell hath no fury like a Tracy scorned" (or words to that effect) so we have no idea how that comes into play. I think the WORST thing that could happen to LuNacy is Luke running again, and considering they just did that schtick for summer I highly doubt they will pull it again for Christmas. As I said before, something else is going to happen. (But I've got to admit, all I can hear in my head is the Battlestar Galactica tag line "all this has happened before and it will happen again".) Either way you cut it, you're right Hooked - Tracy is guaranteed action until at least Christmas. So say we all!!!
  15. December 21st? That one has got to be deconstructed further. I want to see what the SOD actually puts in print. I can't see Tracy agreeing to that - something's up.
  16. Yup. My fingers will be worked to the bone....
  17. This is not going to be up to my previous standard, but here it is. Mama is beautiful today, btw. Her blue jacket really brings out her eyes... - Luke drinking Irish coffee at the HS and Tracy walked up behind him telling him to leave because he's not wanted there. Luke tells her she's slipping because she used to be a much better liar. - Luke keeps working on her that she does love him and he wants her back. She tells him she hates him but Luke doesn't buy it. Luke responds by saying he wants her, he loves her and she is the closest thing to happiness he has found. Although he can imagine life without her it's not pretty and he doesn't want a life that she's not in. Tracy says fine, he wants her back then he's got to work for it. Again there's discussion of her money and how Luke loves that, not her. Luke says loving her and loving the finer things in life are not mutually exclusive. Their theme music was playing during this scene - man I missed it. That's twice they've had the theme playing since Luke returned. - Eyes watery, Tracy finally admits she does love him and she's his - he just has to repay the $10 million with interest. Luke says that's a hard bargain and Tracy counters that it doesn't even cover the money he spent when she though they were married. Luke sarcastically says she didn't keep a running tab? Ethan enters and Tracy tells Ethan if he intends to help Luke with any scheme to fleece her then they are both out on the street. Then Tracy leaves. - Luke explains to Ethan that he was working a scam when the word of Lucky came through and he rushed to Ireland but by the time he got back to the deal his associates had taken everything including the money. He continues to say he's not proud of this (in Luke's twisted thinking I'm sure he's trying to encourage Ethan to but rich women ahead of poorer ones) but he would love Tracy and want her even if she was dead broke. He wants back into her life, back into her bed and back into her good graces (yes Funny, he did say "back into her bed"). And he wants Ethan to help him and Ethan wants help back with Maya. - This is funny - the fake heart attack is actually ETHAN's idea. He figures that they can both use it. Luke will get Tracy's care and devotion and be moved back into the mansion while Ethan will be the dutiful son always visiting his father and impress Maya. - They tell Maya the idea off camera and she thinks Tracy will see through it instantly. Luke tells Maya she's new to the Spencers, but they can make anything work. - Maya still telling Luke the plan if full of holes. Luke telling Maya that after he and Tracy are legally married it will stick so a recovery won't undermine the plan. Tracy comes back in and comments that this is an interesting threesome.
  18. My money is on Ethan/Tracy - THAT would be a hoot, especially since we've already seen Luke's jealousy in this matter. Personally though I don't think Luke ever gets that drunk nor would Tracy get that drunk again. The end couples are Luke/Tracy, Ethan/KRISTINA, and Maya/?, so I'm not going to get too up in arms about Ethan/Maya and a wedding rumour.
  19. I was quickly FFing through the show and didn't catch all the interaction between Luke and Lulu. I'm so glad they are keeping it up. For all his bravado, Luke is far more about "family" than Sonny is. So.... Luke and Lulu talking about Lucky and Tracy. I really hope we get more Trucky along the way!
  20. Thanks Hooked. I was wondering when the spoilers said a couple that we weren't expecting but wouldn't surprise us would be married by the end of November. That had "LuNacy" written all over it. But seriously, WHY does it have to be funny? I mean honestly, don't TPTB realize LuNacy can do the deeply heartfelt as well - they are the best together at everything they do and we're long overdue for Tracy being reminded how much Luke adores her. On a side note, I'm just loving how much Luke's kids are pushing for LuNacy's reunion. The Spencermaine family is so wonderful to watch - but lets get Brookie involved already!
  21. You know, considering how the Qs want Tracy with Luke (even if it's just for their own peace of mind) I'm wondering if Monica isn't convinced to go along with it for at least a little while. That would be a fun twist.
  22. Thanks Hooked. You can always count on TG for some Janey-love. And I hope Tracy does get freaky on Luke - he deserves it. Even though everything is repetitive at least we can count on the fact that the Spencers are the second most important family in Guzaland so even if this isn't as full as we want it to be, it's a heck of a lot better than if we were Cassidine or Davis fans.
  23. Meh..... I've got to admit it's really cute that they are working on a "Family Effort" to reunite Ma and Pa. Sure it's not new but I love the way Luke's kids want them together so much. Honestly nothing is really new on this show - and now with the Spencer Patriarch's return we have our full Spencer Family Fun along with the never ending "Sonny and the Women" story which currently features the Face that Ate Port Charles, and the Scorpios with the third tale to tell. With the exception of GH's own version of Who's On Third (ie. the rotating third story focus), nothing has changed in years - it's just the nuances within the tale itself. I mean really, we have General Hospital - the story of two screwed up Patriarchs and the families that indulge them. C'est tout!
  24. Trace left when Ethan arrived, so there's not reason for her to be around today. In fact by the time of the beat-down Luke had left too.
  25. Okay, I've finally watched. 3 (or 4) scenes. Again we know the dialogue: Luke - I want you back, you're my wife and I love you Tracy - we aren't legally married Luke - paper means nothing, what can I do to get you back Tracy - prove you love me only and give me back my money Luke - (stalls for time proving he hasn't got the money anymore) Tracy - you spent it all on booze and hookers Luke - there were never any hookers, just models who were "window dressing" for a scam. I'm faithful Tracy - Ha! Now what we did get was one kiss - though not terribly romantic - a lot of Luke grabbing Tracy AND we did get their theme music. They've got to work up to the LuNacy mojo though 'cause Tracy's not giving an inch.
