  1. That's great Hooked. I hope you're enjoying yourself. Tracy spoiler potential for Dec. 8th - Lulu completely supports Tracy's hard line with Luke
  2. If they were going to cut part of the scenes, why not cut Sonny and Luke who did NOTHING to move anything along. I've got to wonder, what did MB demand in his last contract, or SB for that matter, that he gets so much airtime with so little story/character movement…. I'm becoming more and more convinced that Guza is not as obsessed with SaSon as some think, because SaSon, and even Brenda, are not getting the best writing on the show. That's reserved for the legacy kids of Robin and Lucky. I wonder if someone is forcing his hand.
  3. Thanks Hooked, that makes a hell of a lot more sense (only sad that it's not Tracy that Luke is defending, but I'm glad he doesn't NEED to defend her). I think the folks at DD are having way too much fun at the expense of the LnLers, who I would feel bad for if they weren't so damned obnoxious most of the time. As for lack of Tracy dates, I imagine we'll see her once or twice a week at least until the wedding.
  4. Bless your heart. Thank you, Luv.
  5. D'uh… of course you're busy. I'm sorry, I didn't even put that together. If you have time super, but if you don't that's okay too. I might just have to go out and buy the mag for a change. How are your plans coming anyway? Excited?
  6. Awe, thanks Hooked. I really appreciate that. Could I be a little bit selfish and ask for the "Most Surprising Couple - Magic" from the SOD list to be scanned too? I don't know that I completely agree with SOD's opinion BUT I like that LuNacy is getting that level of praise. Even when given garbage - which is far too often for my liking - LuNacy elevates it to fabulous levels. As for Days, they've got 5 vets front and centre (Maggie, Victor, Vivian, Kate and Stefano).
  7. LOL… spoilers are such crap sometimes. Tracy gets "emotional" was actually a very happy, chipper, blink-and-you'll-miss-it moment where Lulu was blown away and flattered by Tracy asking her, and Lulu said she would be honoured. That was that. Clearly whomever wrote those spoilers wasn't paying attention to Tracy and has no idea how emotional she really gets. Banter between Luke and Sonny had Tracy on the short end (I hate it that they make her the butt of a joke) however, they were talking about swimming with the sharks and Sonny said Tracy was the Great White to which Luke said he was "swimming after that one to tell you the truth, and I'm prepared to live with the damage". Luke also say difficult women are the most worth having, if they don't kill you. Otherwise nothing much. LuNacy a little playful.
  8. Perhaps it's just spec on the part of DD. On Wubs all it says is Luke confronts Edward. I'm just liking Luke taking Edward to task about anything because in all honesty, Luke is the better father/patriarch of the two. Edward just pretends he's the Lord and Master.
  9. Spoilers on DD saying Edward calls Laura to do something and when Luke finds out he hits the roof and gives Edward what-for for interfering in his marriage to Tracy. Bring back Bora or don't bring her back, but I hope Tracy isn't hurt in this foolishness. Luke chose her and everyone else should wake up to that fact. Seems the Spencer Sibs already have and they'd be the only ones with a legitimate reason not to. I do like the idea of Luke telling Edward where to shove it - that has been coming for a very long time. No one has defended Tracy in the past except the Spencers, and I love it!
  10. I've always loved Johnny and Tracy. If she was every going to go for a real boy-toy, that would be my choice for her.
  11. Today was cute. Nothing big, just family interactions at the HS. Teasing Mayan about their marriage, a little light LuNacy banter. Ma and Pa worried about Lulu setting herself up for a fall with Dante. Nice inclusion of Johnny. Funny line - when Dante walked in Tracy referred to him as the spawn of Sonny. Johnny turns to Tracy and responds "Spawn of Sonny? I think I love you." 90 episodes? That's not bad.
  12. That is so cool Hooked. Congratulations!!! Have a great time.
  13. Actors are in this for the duration, that's for sure. None of this "by the clock" stuff in that profession, and regardless of their dedication, the crew is there even longer. It's little wonder the respect for those behind the scenes is so high. I'm so glad GH is putting effort into LuNacy's wedding and it looks like it's not going to be a joke of any kind. That's as it should be. I just looked at the episode count for days and they have 4 vets in their top 10 for the month - GH should be doing that with LuNacy. I really hope they get a clue. I've also read that actors dread these ensemble stories as much as the fans love them precisely because they last forever. One may only have a line or two, but they need to be in the background for everyone else's scene.
  14. Cool. It would be nice to do with without Sonny though. What is the location? I feel I should recognize it but don't. Hooked, what are the Tracy/LuNacy dates this week?
  15. That is such a sweet story, Hooked. Thanks for sharing that. The Hayes do strike me as extremely gracious and considerate. I was watching during the Days of Days and how they made sure the children were included in something they could do.
  16. I really hope GH is FINALLY learning a thing or two from Days and OLTL - put the vets in a front-burner story and then you can have whomever else you want doing their thing. It doesn't have to be all vets all the time, just your base vet couple with a real story.
  17. DD reporting that Nic is taking BL to LuNacy's wedding, so at least one of Tracy's biological descendants will be there. I wonder if Nedly and Dillon will even be mentioned… I hope so. GH runs hot-and-cold on their references to legacy characters not on the canvas so it could go either way.
  18. ^^ Hooked, you ROCK at finding things. I'm amazed and constantly in awe. I just realized I forgot to wish my American brother and sisters Happy Thanksgiving. I hope you have a great day and I am having pizza tonight in your honour!
  19. Some of The City stuff is on Youtube - the problem is that the quality is quite bad. I don't know if any Thanksgiving episodes are amoung them though.
  20. Wonderful Episode. GH really wins with the Spencermaines and the Davis/Jones/Scorpio combinations. Lulu trying to get Dante to the Q's, not happening. CarJax family gone to NYC so Michael home with Lante. Edward sighing over picture of Lila. Tracy and Maya primping in mirrors before their Spencer men arrive. Edward says they are wasting themselves on the Spencers. Maya asks if that's what Edward thinks then why the $1 mill. Edward thinks Ethan has a chance of redemption through Maya. Luke arrives and Alice immediately offers him the drink Edward has forbid her to poor for Luke. Luke tells Tracy she looks like a million bucks, to which Tracy retorts "That would be Maya, I look like a lot more". Luke breathes deeply of Tracy's wit. Siobhan gets Lucky to agree to go to the Quartermaines for Thanksgiving. Davis/Scorpio/Jones daughters working on getting Mac and Alexis together. Luke offers to fix Tracy a plate of orderves and Tracy says she'll skip the arsenic. Luke and Ethan chuckle and Maya says she doesn't get it. Ethan says he will explain in her room but Maya begs off. Luke intervenes asking if Ethan knows nothing of romance - when the woman of your dreams is nearby, never miss the opportunity to tell her. Tracy sarcastically asks where's the cheese. Mayan laugh at that. Ethan tries to work his way into Maya's pants again (boy really is a broken record on this one). Edward wonders why they aren't eating dinner, and Tracy says they are waiting for their other guests - Lucky, Lulu and Dante. Edward doesn't want Lucky who always fleeces him at Poker (seriously, this is NOT GV's Lucky anymore) and Dante's paternal connections. In one quick Lante conversation we learn that Liv is in Bensonherst with the Falconaries, and Sonny is with Mike and Bernie. Lulu is not happy with Dante wanting football over family. Dante says it's an opportunity for him to spend time with his brother and Lulu says he's pulling the brother card? Well she's got two brothers who are with Tracy, and that is her family! Maya busts Ethan trying to steal a cigar from Edward and calls Ethan on being shallow - not planning on sticking around after sleeping with her if Edward hadn't offered them money. Tracy still planning the wedding, saying corporate takeovers are easier. Luke tells her whatever she wants, which she translates into his not caring. Luke assures her he does care about her happiness, isn't that enough? Tracy says while they are on the subject, she wants him to keep the next 4 Mondays open for Tango lessons - the dance of love. Edward says if that's the one that ends in tragedy then it's perfect. Tracy says no, that's the Passa Dobley. Then she tells Luke he has three responsibilities. 1. to pick up the tab, 2. to sign the pre-nup, and 3…. she wiggles her left hand. Luke questions that she wants him to give her a manicure? lol. Edward interprets "Buy her a ring, you buffoon. Luke smirks while Tracy says it's so people can tell she's betrothed. Of course, Luke says, but he'll do it on his own time in his own way. Edward retorts that that means Luke hasn't stolen anything yet. Luke rolls his eyes and says "Oh please…" Lucky and Siobhan arrive and she does charm the socks off of Edward. Really sweet actually. Edward is such a horndog. Ethan still trying to get in Maya's pants. Siobhan explains her connection to Lucky to Edward, and thanks him for hosting them. Edward warns her to keep her hand on her wallet and her eyes on Lucky - he's the smoothest of the lot. Luke tells her not to listen to Edward, that the Spencer Men are all enlightened and entrepreneurial. Ethan continues that Edward is jealous because they encourage women to reach their full potential. Tracy picks up on that saying that means the Spencer Men are entirely comfortable letting their women support them. Luke smiles at her while Ethan continues that they are the modern day Robin Hoods who steal from the rich and give to the poor. Maya adds her two cents and says by poor Ethan is referring to himself. Lucky steers Siobhan away from the family and says it's not too late for a nice Italian dinner in the city. Siobhan says no, she wouldn't miss this for the world. Lulu arrives alone and they are all glad to see her. Edward asks about her "no good boyfriend" and Lulu says he's not coming. Edward then says "thank God for small favours" which rubs Lulu the wrong way. Dante/Michael cave and head over to the Q's. Mac plans on spending Thanksgiving with Robin and when she questions about Alexis, Mac admits there's no spark there. (The writers obviously listen.) Robin eventually convinces him to join the Davis family dinner. Diane gives Alexis a similar talk about grabbing the good in what life offers and finding the magic once you have it. Edward blusters when Alice serves Luke. Alice protests that he's got to eat, to which Edward replies "not a Spencer". Lulu asks if she should be offended and she says no, Lulu takes after her mother. Siobhan asks if Quartermaines hate Spencers so much, why are they lining up to marry them? Tracy answers that despite the heartache, being married to a Spencer is more interesting than all of her other marriages put together. All the Spencer Men smile in acknowledgement with Luke saying Tracy makes an excellent point. At that point Dante arrives and Edward is just about to give him the boot when he sees Michael. Edward says it's a wonderful surprise and Michael says it was Dante's idea, that he insisted upon it. More Davises/DiLex counting their blessings. Major Spixie propping - Maxie disappointed that Mac stayed with Robin, says some people can't see love even when it's starring them right in the face. Enter Spinelli with firewood that he promptly drops when he sees Maxie. Maxie returns with a breathless smile, as Mama Diane looks on approvingly (seriously, SOMEONE make Diane Spinelli's mother STAT. CH is certainly playing it that way - and we know she wants it.) Matt basically tells Robin to get her sh!t together about Patrick. Lulu pulls Siobhan aside for a discussion about her intentions towards Lucky. Mac arrives to join the Davis/Jones/Miller family to make is involving the Scorpios. Then Matt arrives (invited by Maxie) and bumps Spinelli out of his chair. Everyone else feels for Spinelli and in the end Maxie is sitting between Spinelli and Matt. Back at the Q's Edward tells Michael it doesn't matter where the rest of the CarJax family are, he's a Q and is always welcome at the mansion. Edward tells Michael he looks wonderful after this past terrible year. Michael asks about Monica and Edward says she went to a Spa - this time of year is so hard on her since Alan's death. But she will be very sorry she missed him. (Sorry for your A&M fans, but that DOES make sense.) Edward then asks about school and Mikey says it's better than prison. Edward then blusters about a Q in Pentonville being an outrage. Michael says he'd still be there if Dante didn't get him out, so Edward turns to Dante and says as long as Michael says so then Dante's welcome. Dante thanks him but Edward continues that he's welcome as long as he doesn't "revert to type", ie. become like Sonny, or throw Lulu off for another woman because Alice will put him in a Double Chicken Wing and throw him out. Lulu just shakes her head with her mouth open unable to speak while Alice glares, lol. Ethan STILL trying to get into Maya's pants. Suddenly Maya realizes LuNacy is missing and wonders where they are. In the den Luke is looking at the ring with the eyeglass. Tracy sneaks up behind him and snatches it out of his hand. Luke protests that it doesn't work that way, that he's supposed to be on bended knee. Tracy asks if it's Monica's ring or has he been in her mother's jewelry box. She thinks she recognizes it but can't quite place it. Luke assure her it's real, which of course she doesn't buy. Luke smiles that he got it in Amsterdam from a reputable Jeweller while he was away and some day when they are cozy and only have their memories, he'll tell her the whole story. Regardless he got it for her and it's real. Tracy again says it's glass but Luke again promises it's real, then he asks if she wants it or not. Cue theme music with lyrics, and Tracy says well, she'll try it on to see if it feels right. Tears are forming in her eyes as Luke smiles on. Luke points out it fits and Tracy says it's a lucky guess. Luke says luck had nothing to do with it. Tracy trying to contain her emotions says if it's real, she'd say he's doing pretty good. Luke says it is real and what does she say…. "will you take that leap into the unknown with me? Be my bride and let me love your forever." Tracy obviously moved grabs the Jewellers eyepiece from his hands to have a look herself. She comes to the conclusions that it's real and turns to him while Luke continues to look adoringly at him. Spencermaines gather in the living room as Alice walks in with the pizza. Siobhan is confused and asks about the American turkey dinner, which gets the full story from Lucky and Edward re: Thanksgiving Pizza. Luke walks in holding Tracy's hand and says "That boys and girls is how a tradition is born." Tracy feigns coughing with her left hand to show off her ring. All the kids are impressed with the "rock". Alice says he can always change his mind while Edward tells "Daughter" to have the ring appraised. Michael wants them to tuck in but Edward stops them saying they have to sing first. Edward starts (no smirking this year) and Siobhan is the first to join in. Alice also sings and it looks like Dante tries. Everyone else smiles together happy in their pairings. Montage continues with Edward/Siobhan singing then instrumental as we see Scrubs family together in the hospital, then Davises et all around the table, Sam/Krissy/Diane making sure Spin is seated by Maxie since Matt took his seat. Alexis gestures for Mac to carve the bird. Back at the Q's everyone finishes singing and wishing each other Happy Thanksgiving, and Trace is the first to grab pizza. (No talking to the audience this year.) And that 's it - great episode.
  21. I'll recap as soon as I can. Today should be good all the way around.
  22. I finally caught up and watched Friday/Monday. I love it when Luke starts piecing things together - the old bird has hair on his head for a reason. Everything still works. Lucky's response seemed legitimate to me. A child should think of his mother when a date special to her arises. However he is very happy for Luke and Tracy and he will stand by them. I'm also glad Luke pointed out that Tracy deserves this position of one-upping the infamous "angel", especially considering what she did for Laura on numerous occasions. I do like the way this is playing out. Lulu was funny as she listed all the relationship problems in her immediate family. From her position she does look like the only stable one of the bunch.
  23. This is SID, the same rag that was talking about VM's "imminent" return for well over a decade before anything actually happened. And when it did they were NOT the ones to break that story. Besides the article is yet another one aimed at the LnLers who seem to have a pocketful of money and a bucketful of expectations. I'm still yawning and waiting for something definitive and authoritative. This ain't it. As for the mentions, Anna is mentioned quite a bit in Scrubs and we haven't seen her in years. On a different note - that which IS happening - I'm looking forward to December for LuNacy. I hope this Luke Angst BS is over in a blink of an eye. Neither Tracy nor the viewers deserves more of that crappola.
  24. Please oh please oh please make that ring real…. please…..
  25. The Uncle Rudy stuff was dropped when they suddenly decided to axe SBr - he was her uncle, not Johnny's. Who knows how that would have played out if left on the table. I finally watched yesterday. Luke was better but Tracy is still quite harsh. And I knew Tracy would not insist on Laura's birthday - she wanted the Solstice and it looks like Luke didn't say there was any other connection to that day. Spoilers are such a pile of hooey.
