The Tracy Quartermaine Lovefest
Oh..... I wish I was able to see it live today. Sorry I can't do recaps 'cause I'll be on my way to a Girl Guide Conference. I know BSG and Lainey do this all the time so it might get old for them - but I'm actually going to a hotel with a hot tub, full bar service and no children. I can't wait!!!! I don't know if I'll have access to a computer, so I might have to wait to see it on Sunday night. Nex, I can't wait to see the clips all together. Yesterday was great - sad but great - and today should be more of the same. I hope they do play the beats and that they are giving the truly stupid stuff to Nicadine so LuNacy gets some heart and not a laugh track. See you Sunday evening. (did I mention the no children part?)

The Tracy Quartermaine Lovefest
I won't be around to recap tomorrow, but I do believe there is more LuNacy tomorrow so wait for it. Next week there's nothing and then the week after we're back at it.

The Tracy Quartermaine Lovefest
Today's Recaps (Thursday, November 20) STATS Vets: Luke, Tracy Kisses: Nada Stories: Lulu/Luke conversation at HS; Spin going for revenge; Kate wants to tell Sonny, Olivia want to stop it; JaSam and shootout at warehouse; Johnny helps Spin; Lulu helps Maxie; LuNacy at HS; Nicadine dizzy; LuSam/Liason plan to get the 'women and chillins' out of Dodge Line of the Day: Ric - "The Russians are coming..." Sc. 1 - Lulu surprised Luke wouldn't go with Laura. He says he wasn't going to leave his wife to follow Laura - that life is over. He's moved on, and hopes Laura moves on too. Tracy walks in to overhear the last part when Lulu asks if he was even tempted to go with Laura. Tracy listens intently. Sc. 2 - Lulu asks again and Luke says if she had asked me he would have gone. Because you love her Lulu asks? Luke assures her he will always love her mother. Tracy hears and silently walks away. (Haven't seen "Happy Tracy" at all.) Sc. 3 - Conversation continues, thinks maybe Laura doesn't trust him which is why she didn't ask him to go. Luke says it's possible and all of them have made mistakes, but says it is what it is. Lulu acknowledges she's like a little kid who wants her parents together. Luke says it's not going to happen, but she should live her own life and prioritize that. Luke says he will support Johnny unless he hurts Lulu. They hug then Lulu leaves and Luke goes back to drinking. Tracy walks in as though she hadn't been listening before. She's smiling and wondering if he is opening the HS and getting back to what they consider normal. Luke smiles at her. (I hope to hell this isn't "Happy Tracy", 'cause it's an act.) Sc. 4 - Luke talks about another flashy opening, to keep the high rollers coming. Dinner, show, etc. Tracy says that sounds like a full renovation. Luke asks if that is her round about way of asking if he will stay in town. Luke says he's staying, it's a 'qualified' yes. Qualified? Tracy asks. Yeah, he could be run out of town on a rail. Tracy agrees that could happen. Luke softens to her and says he knows this thing with Laura has been tough, and he appreciates it b/c most women wouldn't stay through it. {two or three lines I missed.} Tracy asks if they are supposed to go on as if nothing happened? Luke says nothing did. Then they are interrupted by Ric as the voice of the Z's. Luke says he will blow up the HS himself if the Z's try to get involved again, either way they don't get the Star. Sc. 5 - Tracy wonders why Ric is still here, Ric just giving Luke an opportunity to 'rethink'. Luke asks if that's a threat, Ric says he's just passing along inside information. Tracy says to pass along this: if anything happens to Luke she will file a lawsuit and have the IRS crawling all over the Z's. Ric counters that the Russians are coming. Tracy says the Russians are coming? Luke replies the Russians are here, they turned his family dinner into a marshmallow and attacked Sonny's coffee house. At some point the Z's will get into it, but they aren't getting the HS. Ric leaves and Luke smiles at Tracy saying it's so nice to know they are still a formidable team. Tracy says he should be grateful, especially since she's all he has now that Laura has rejected him. Luke's smile fades. Sc. 6 - Tracy saying he choose Laura over her. Luke says he didn't. Tracy says she was listening and heard what Luke said to Lulu. Luke gets angry that she overheard but if she wants to know the truth he would have gone if Laura needed him, but that doesn't change the fact that he doesn't want to be with Laura. Tracy wonders why she's not flattered that he's settling for her. She says that's it, she's done. The marriage is over. Luke is stunned. Sc. 7 - Luke says they can work it out. Tracy says not this time. If he had broken her heart, it would heal. But he stomped on her pride and she will never give him a chance to do that again. Now he's free to go to Laura. Luke says he's not buying this, she knows he loves her, that he's the best time she ever had. Tracy says she knows, that's what makes it so damn sad. Luke says "I will never give up on you, Wife". Tracy says do me a favour, don't ever call me that again. Then she walks away and Luke looks horrified.

The Tracy Quartermaine Lovefest
Sounds about right based on the spoilers, but the holes this story is generating are huge. I don't think she has much time to draw up anything - she certainly wouldn't have the time to go to the Dominican Republic. She might have preliminary papers, but I doubt it. And if she does have them, she won't have anything more than the basics. Lukey's gotta start doing the Spanky Dance.

The Tracy Quartermaine Lovefest
I personally don't care how she 'seriously devastates' the boy, I just want him to start working it HARD. Every indication is that the divorce doesn't go through, but it's close enough for Lukey to realize what he could lose. I think that's the way it has to be - so much of his 'devastation' about the ewcbo is around loss. It's time for Luke to wake up and realize Tracy is NOT a sure thing.

The Tracy Quartermaine Lovefest
I agree Luke and Tracy have to work on their issues, but who actually works on their issues - Scrubs only did because they had to line it up with NSII. Otherwise they either have sex or arguments, but no one 'works it out' anymore. On the flip side I don't think it will be 'wacky hi-jinx'. I think Luke may try that at first thinking he just has to jolly Tracy out of it, but once he sees the real pain and anger I think he'll take another tack. SOW spoiler say week of Dec. 1st Tracy devastates Luke, so we'll see. There isn't much time between now and Christmas but hopefully we will get some positive emoting if not reconciliation.

The Tracy Quartermaine Lovefest
Hope so. I just want 10 seconds of LuNacy happiness before we're off to the races again. We were gypped over the proposal, we had an interrupted dance, and a farewell to PC scene that was basically ruined by Tracy's too soon return. Even the smiling over the Monica blackmail fodder and in Mexico really didn't amount to much. That's since January folks. Don't know if Hooked knows more, but before SD went down I saw that Luke doesn't want to see or hear the word "divorce" and that Tracy tries (with Edward's support, though that's always a double edge sword) but the divorce never completely happens.

The Tracy Quartermaine Lovefest
That wasn't 'happy' - I'm not even sure she knows Luke is still in town. The disconnect on this show is huge. On Thursday/Friday Lulu told Johnny she was back at the Q's and her mom went to France. Today (which I realize is just 1-2 days later PC time, but still...) Tracy is looking for messages from Luke. Wouldn't Lulu have told her something? I'm confused...

The Tracy Quartermaine Lovefest
This past week has reminded me of last December - remember when Tracy was on alternately the first 2-3 days of the week or the last, and the intervening Wednesday to Wednesday was painfully long. Today's Recaps (Wednesday, November 19) - Tracy only on one scene STATS Vets: Luke, Tracy, Edward Kisses: nuthin' Stories: Sam going undercover again; Spin wanting revenge for Maxie, Solivia; Scrubs with Emma; Johnny/Luke back in business at HS; Luke/Lulu talk about ewcbo; Jason attacks Karpov's warehouse, Sam gets out unhurt. Line of the Day: Lulu to Luke "I'm an idiot." Sc. 1 - no Tracy; Luke and Johnny at HS setting up to play roulette Sc. 2 - no Tracy; Johnny and Luke continue, and they play for who gets the HS - Johnny gets to stay Sc. 3 - Tracy's at hospital and sees Edward for board meeting. He's upset she's late because he wanted to talk strategy and ask where she was. Tracy says she was getting a facial and she's not a child that needs minding. Edward says no one cares how 'smooth her skin is'. Tracy wonders why Edward wants Monica at Chief of Staff so badly, and he says he needs to get Monica out of the house and so she doesn't keep the 12 steps to bother him. Tracy wants to check her phone and Edward doesn't know why she bothers - Luke is half way to Paris with his real wife. Tracy says no, SHE is his real wife and Luke choose to stay with her. Apparently Lulu is at the Q's but Luke hasn't told Tracy he's still in town. Meanwhile Luke says he needs immediate cash, and Johnny says he's got a rich wife. They talk about Luke being caught between two formidable women but points out that Luke chose Tracy - and Luke says yes, he did. But the reality is that he doesn't want "his woman" funding his life. They talk further about clean Z money being hard to come by and Luke doesn't trust the Z's at all. Sc. 4 - (Hook Sonny up with Olivia - she makes him tolerable); No LuNacy Sc. 5 - no Tracy; Johnny and Luke continue at HS, Johnny and Luke in business not the entire Z family. Lulu comes in and assumes Luke is trying to talk Johnny out of seeing Lulu. Johnny says her name never came up and leave, then Lulu admits she's an idiot. Luke says she's his idiot and gives her a huge hug. Sc. 6 - no Tracy; Luke and Lulu talk at HS, Luke tries to make Lulu feel better and she talks about how great it was to have Laura across the hall. Lulu asks Luke what it means to him to have Laura back, and Luke looks away with a startled/happy/overwhelmed look on his face as he shakes his head, no words spoken. Sc. 7 - no LuNacy

They've been filler for some time. Their last real story was Luke's surgery, wish a slight blip around Luke finding evidence against Monica. A small private wedding is what they deserve - something intimate that only includes those who can celebrate with them. For all her flare Tracy really isn't into attention seeking. I just hope whatever Guza thinks he had to 'fix' this year is done so he can write for everyone again. I really don't care that LuNacy is filler, because look who they are with - Spixie and Scrubs, the two most loved couples.

The Tracy Quartermaine Lovefest
Good. I would like to see happy Tracy sometime this year. She's been so upset and cranky since New Years. She's actually only has 2 happy days this year - how sad is that? I'm actually okay with this. We didn't see the full proposal (which still burns my butt). Hopefully we will get a full out reconciliation, or divorce not being final, or see a real wedding between them - one of the things LuNacy is missing. Lulu propping LuNacy meant something.

I'm more impressed she made the cut for the VCR Alert (which should really be renamed, come to think of it). Given how repetative the show is, and how Luke isn't going to accept it, I wouldn't be surprised if she tells him 6-8 times before she realizes it isn't true either.

The Tracy Quartermaine Lovefest
Ya know... there are certain things you just expect in soapland, and one of them is that Deidre Hall will be with DOOL until the very end. What were they thinking?
-
The Tracy Quartermaine Lovefest
That was fabulous, Nex. That will help get over the hump until Wednesday. Thank you.

The Tracy Quartermaine Lovefest
This is a soap - you know that was how it was going to happen. This is when we get the good stuff about why Luke loves Tracy.

The Tracy Quartermaine Lovefest
Hey all, his nibs wants the 'puter so I doubt I'll be around this evening. But before I leave I wanted to give you this. It fixes the 'oversight' on Thursday/Friday. Confessions.... the twenty-third

The Tracy Quartermaine Lovefest
Yeah, some 'this day in history' thing. It was history, whether we like it or not. Underscore HISTORY.
-
The Tracy Quartermaine Lovefest
Do they have a scan online yet? Luke will need all the luck he can get - and I want to see him really work for it this time.

The Tracy Quartermaine Lovefest
I'm taming them. Only one is still a b*tch to me - and I haven't seen her around in ages. *waving the flag high * I think a few are legitimate newcomers - they just sound different. But a lot were new names just for the LnL fluffing. I'm so glad to see Erica and Karen have come to play. We welcome all LuNacy-lovers. That's too funny. Is it this week we get the inside on how Lukey is going to 'win' his Popsicle back for the 10th time this year?

The Tracy Quartermaine Lovefest
Hey guys, I'm back. I just spent the weekend at Fort York, which was build to protect the British town York (Toronto) from those nasty invaders from America. Gotta tell ya, I'm so glad I wasn't living in 1812. It was cold and raining all day Saturday, and the bathrooms were in another building. I've never been so happy to get home to central heating and a mattress. Cute boys leading the educational time, though, and so well done. I haven't looked around the web yet. Anything exciting happen, any new Tracy expectations? Off to have a look-see.

The Tracy Quartermaine Lovefest
If we have to wait until Wednesday to see this, I can wait. I'm actually more willing to cut Luke some slack. Lulu said today she was back at the Q's, which means Luke is also back at the Q's. He never stayed a night with Laura. They were on the plane overnight to get home, and then all the PC action happened during one day. Obviously Luke left the airport and went home. In reality, all of the Laura story happened within 2-3 days in Port Charles - it's not like Luke could really get his barrings. The only thing obvious was that he wasn't falling into Laura's arms. Even the tonsil hockey round was short and more about saying goodbye (regardless of how much the LnL fans desperately wanted it to mean more). His most definitive statements were said about and to Tracy. His hedging was only with Laura and it had to do with not hurting Laura or sending her back into catatonia. Next week we start our LuNacy renewal. Honestly, Guza hasn't been bad. Even the violence has been minimal and more talked about then seen. I think we're in for good things.

The Tracy Quartermaine Lovefest
Hooked was right, no LuNacy today. Seems like ewcbo left and they assumed the story left with her. I'm more convinced it's not that Tracy was second place, it's that Laura was the story (note Laura, NOT LnL). When LuNacy becomes the story again they will be back. Have to do the mobbie/violence thing first. Seems Lulu's back at the Q's, Alice waiting on her, and life returned as if the previous months didn't happen (her words). Guess Lulu is completely okay that Luke picked Tracy. I thought she would be - she'll miss her mother but she seems to have grown up leap over bound these past few weeks. Guess thinking you'd lost your sanity will do that to a person. At least everyone recognizes that Kelly's was owned by the Spencers. I guess Guza was paying attention to that, even if the Russians didn't. Lulu revisited Kelly's history, Aunt Ruby, etc. and Sonny said that Kelly's was the Spencers' and they shouldn't be part of the mob mess he started. Sonny promised to rebuild it - focusing on the kitchen. At least he's true to character on that one. AZ had the line of the day "Who said Port Charles isn't a great place to raise kids?" said after he recounted all the violence of the last few hours. It was so funny - even the Diva laughed out loud. Notice how the Line of the Day is almost always Tracy, Spinelli, Maxie or AZ. I have less problem with the writers now and more with the editing process. Oh, and LisaQ, in case you missed it - Sonny is an a$shole.
-
The Tracy Quartermaine Lovefest
We also don't know if it was taped and later cut, like the proposal stuff back in May. The writing is bad (although much better lately) but the editing is terrible. It's so choppy and I'm sure they don't watch their own show from day to day. The holes are now getting so large you could drive a Mac convoy through them. Either way I'll watch and let you know, Nex.
-
The Tracy Quartermaine Lovefest
No, don't skip your sleep. Highlights: Sonny is an a$shole Liz thought Jason would truly bend to her will and become her domestic partner - got pissed when reality came in the form of mob work. Kelly's was torched , and Mike beaten. LuSam ILYx2 Kate dumped Sonny after finding out he went to Carly for help and not her - again Sonny is an a$shole Sleep well.
-
The Tracy Quartermaine Lovefest
I'd wait. We've still got that spoiler about Tracy being happy - and the only thing that would make her happy right about now is Luke coming home. It's not until next week that she learns he offered to go help Laura in France. The fall into pain wouldn't be far from where she sits now, so they have to elevate her a bit more first.
