Very hollow. Who is this guy? What does he do besides 'entrepreneur'? Some film-producing apparently, and a restaurant somewhere? At least with the 'Hot Dog King' there was a legitimate catering company. It's only been two days since this story broke, and already Simon Guobadia is all over social media promoting himself and looking for opportunities. It was notable how several different news sites talked about Fallyn leaving 'his house' this week. The wording says a lot. Simon is the one with ALL the cards in this triangular scenario. She likely left with the clothes on her back and not much else, and she won't be getting much else besides possibly a small payoff. Maybe Porsha thinks she can do better than Fallyn when it comes to this dude's money (IF he actually has any). But despite having a years-long rep as a kept woman (I'm putting it nicely), Porsha doesn't strike me as all that clever. He obviously is practiced in juggling pretty women with dollar signs in their eyes and tossing them out when he's done. Luann posted video of the private jet back to NYC after All-Stars, and Teresa was sitting with Kenya and Cynthia, deep in conversation. I wondered if they had struck up a friendship. Now we know! I hope they show some of it on All-Stars.

I haven't caught up with last night's episode but reunion trailer for NJ looks 🔥 Usually a two-part reunion means TPTB did not have faith in the season, but I believe NJ kept solid numbers. The fact is, it was a low episode count, and I assume that decision was made when the pandemic really hit the fan back in March-April 2020. Bravo wasn't sure how Covid restrictions would hit filming so they played it safe. When NJ actually started to film in late summer, by that point Bravo had some procedures established. Anyway, it has been a very entertaining season for me, and the reunion trailer really shows how strong an ensemble cast this is. It's a cast I have a soft spot for, which is not something I can say about all the franchises. Also, everyone (with possible exception of human mannequin Melissa) has got something going on in that trailer! Even the husbands. It is strength in depth and in numbers. Gotta acknowledge that Jennifer and Jackie came ready. Reunion is going to be jam-packed! Oh, BTW this is amazing. Bill came to the finale party as PRINCE -- Purple Rain era: It's exhausting and they are doing too much. Apparently Court's brother CHART (yes that's his name) waded into this controversy too and went after Tiffany on Twitter. It's like, STOP. I get you're trying to make another season happen, but what you are actually doing is driving the fast bus to Cancellation with these antics. As for Kameron, I feel like her true nature has been exposed and I'm really over her. No wonder she 'bonded' with Brandi and Steph this season.

I must admit, I loved them too. I like Crystal! Her talking points reminded me a little of Tiffany. I like her style, too -- more NY than LA. Rinna is so fake-schmoozey. She seems to be mentally noting Crystal's idiosyncrasies... for future usage. Also she is morphing into LVP in her VT. Kyle humble-bragging about her favorite subject -- herself. 'People always tell me I look too young to have a 31 yr old daughter!'

100% Agree with all this. Also unsure about Sheree, given that she flopped out of S10 carrying Kim Zolciak's train. Nevertheless, Sheree does have an elegantly shady (and elegantly delusional) way about her. I'm not militantly against her return.

So she succeeded. She has her own Kim Z thing going on, and can avoid RHOA and any difficult questions completely! What a nice, cushy spinoff, produced by the same clowns who did this season's ATL, I'll bet. And I wonder what the focus will be? Why, it's all about her activism, cute child and mom / sis! Nothing on her 'recent engagement.' WTF is Bravo thinking?? They're going to let her wave away all the juicy SOAP OPERA because she wants to polish her social-activist credentials? F that! I demand the soapy drama! This is basically me and ITA. When I stopped watching regularly, Daytime was actively stepping away from these kind of SLs for no credible reason. Porsha has sort of become the undercover villain who has just been exposed: ... And we all know where this should be going:

Because there is no 'it' there. He's a tubby, aging, bald dude. Nothing against any of those qualities! There are some charming silver foxes out there in all shapes and sizes (and I'd rather hang out with them than a male supermodel). But this isn't one of them. Look at him creepily watching his soon-to-be-ex-wife and soon-to-be-babymama wrestle by the pool. Porsha looked at that and saw dollar signs. That's it.

It's true. We have never had a scandal where one HW has an affair, gets knocked up and engaged with another HW or FOH's husband. ON THE SHOW. This is indeed a sensation. And that is why we need a half-decent production team to document this mess properly. I wonder if Falyn would ever join the show as a FOH to discuss this. Lord, Porsha. She sure has a type with her men. 😬

There's been some pretty big RH scandals out there. Teresa & Joe being sentenced to prison. Luann arrested. Tom & Erika indicted. Jen Shah failing to evade the Feds. This is up there. We've never had a HW steal a HW or FOH's husband on the show. And bonus: there is no legal reason on earth why it can't be featured and discussed this coming season! Bless this dumb gold-digger for bringing RH fans together today and single-handedly relaunching RHOA with a scandal of this magnitude. ETA: OK i that's enough Twitter for today

Carlos King needs to come back and get his cameras over at Simon & Falyn's house! Where it all started: I can't believe she is knocked up but I guess that is what secured the ring! She damaged her image all by herself, and I don't think her Insta live a few weeks back (where she she gave zero credible answer about why Bravo cut that scene) helped either.

She's not just a HoE [(c) @Cheap21], she's a damn stupid hoe ! She posted thinking RHOA fans would be super-thrilled that their lil princess has found publicity love at last! That Bravo might pony up a Porsha Getting Married spinoff ! I'm not sure she fully understands that this may have dented her do-gooding credentials. She certainly was do-ing something! @FrenchBug82 I am wondering whether she wants to secure her peach -- or secure a permanent spinoff so she doesn't have to interact with Kenya, Marlo, Kandi anymore! As usual, this second-tier production dropping the ball on this bombshell. For sure some of the cast and crew already knew about this! And why is this happening now when RHOA is over and no cameras are rolling until June/July? This is why both Kenya and Porsha need to come back for S14. And are we really pretending this is true love? Porsha falling right back into her Kept Woman happy-place, while another dodgy dude "ceases the opportunity."

We forgot to mention Crystal's. What was that mess? This town is full of pretenders and I'm the best at it? What?

@DaytimeFan your continued referencing of Vyle, the realtor's wife, living Deep in the Valley kills me every time! 😆 I can't with her having melded her usual "My town" crap with "kween." Just because you refer to yourself as one doesn't make it so, Kyle. Garcelle and Sutton's are the best. Rinna's is a regurgitation of every tagline she ever had. Dorit's is plain awful. And Erika's is truly shocking when you consider who the Girardis embezzled from.

Your perception about who out of Kenya and Porsha might leave is interesting in light of this tweet from QoB, who gets early screeners from Bravo and therefore has a press-type relationship with the network. The comments following this Tweet are very 50/50 with regards to 'who should leave.' Production, as usual, is waiting and seeing, using Tweets like this to assess. They will have their work cut out for them because the results are by no means cut-and-dry. I am of the view that BOTH women need to come correct and do their damn job and interact. None of this 'She Goes Or I Go' nonsense. That may have worked once when some OGs wielded a lot of power with the network. Today? These peeps should be invested in keeping the shows going and in the public eye and working as a team. (Case in point: Who was a team player and went on All-Stars Vacation last week? And by some reports played her role well and brought the drama with Ramona? That would be Kenya. Also, if Phaedra comes back... well, she has history with Kandi, Kenya AND Porsha. They are ALL interlinked). If I was pushed? Porsha can go but Kenya must stay. Porsha by herself just does not interest me that much. It's not even a matter of not liking how S9 went down. As funny and light as Porsha has been, I just don't think she is all that compelling. As much as I have disliked Kenya, I am lowkey fascinated by her. That's not to say that Kenya should get a free pass to ride roughshod over everybody. It's the same thing with Porsha. I'm not crazy about Porsha this season because Bravo has an investment in her as a Face of Bravo, and they want to protect that investment, to the point where production is bending over backwards to give her a good edit and make others look not so good. I hate being manipulated like that (it's a real problem I had with Bob Guza's GH, as overseen by Brian Frons), and I instinctively rebel against getting me to toe the party line (not to put too fine a point on it -- this is Real Housewives, not Facebook bots trying to influence my vote!). And ITA with everyone here about Production. We all can see it. This is a second-rate crew that cannot do their job seamlessly. They are messy and lazy, no depth, no content, and they are making boneheaded decisions with how they handle the crown jewels. Carlos King was interviewed for Andy's E! doc on reality TV, and if he's on good terms to that extent with NBC Universal, he needs to come back. I get the impression ATL was his baby and he ran a tight ship. He also wasn't as egregious with his favoratism. Some years Nene adored him. Other years she hated him. Same with Kandi.

Chris, I had a similar perception to you. I wondered if Ramona was borderline on the spectrum. Or maybe her bad childhood arrested a part of her social development in some way. She is socially awkward, in contrast to Mario who was a social smoothie. And New Yorkers can be rude and abrupt, but Ramona has difficulty reading a room. Or other people's emotions. Her apology to Luann S7 about not understanding what she went through in her divorce until now said a lot about Ramona unable to fully empathise until she herself goes through something similar. Her apologies often sound like she worked through them with a counsellor beforehand. She doesn't always acknowledge that she understands how the other person feels. But she can see that she hurt them, and for that, she apologises. I'm willing to bet that she and Kenya MADE that All Stars Vacation happen. Her Thriller dance alone was epic!

But Ramona pivots so fast, it is dizzying. I wonder if karma will ever catch up with her? I'm sure the disgruntled wait-staff of Manhattan/Miami's many restaurants would love to see some payback.

It's shocking to me because, even though they didn't get along last season, Dorinda originally came onto RHONY because of Ramona. She'd been her friend for a few years prior (and turned out to be seamless addition). It did cross my mind that Ramona went hard on Dorinda because she knows she will return. Ramona may want to assure her place for next season with a potential Ramona vs Dorinda rivalry. I think Dorinda's is the only departure I know of where Bravo/Andy said 'Guys, this is temporary. We are benching her for a season and plan to bring her back." Certainly, this was never said of departing HWs like Gretchen Rossi. Ramona has always been a sh!t about departing RHONY HWs. She was gleeful about Jill Zarin leaving (to be fair, we all were at the time). With Heather, she took the view that Heather never really fit in. When Carole left (after going against Ramona's arch-nemesis Bethenny), she was like 'well, it is what it is' or some such ambivalent answer. To say she was thrilled when Bethenny left would be an understatement. Ramona views every woman on RHONY, even her close friends, as competition. Like, if Sonja ever departed, I guarantee Ramona would go on WWHL to say: "Sonja had a good run. But her time has been and gone. We need some new blood with the exception of myself, of course. What do you think of my new boobs, Andy?" Ramona is ruthless and shameless, but that's what keeps her on the show. Plastic wine glass, no? But yeah, I remember that barely making a ripple. SHOOK. I didn't think it would be Eddie! And I'm sure both Wendy and Eddie's families AND their employers do not want them on the show. Maybe this is why Wendy and Gizelle fell out. Because the GEBs would 100% be like

This is why I need to stop reading RH Stan Twitter. It is so knee-jerk negative about these shows, and on here, things feels more balanced and positive (but not ridiculously positive). @Faulkner I'd love to know your thoughts on why having all 5 RHONY ladies on WWHL was off-putting, as I only saw a few clips on YouTube (legit question, not attacking your reasons). I thought from the clips that Sonja and Ramona coming off the clearest. I liked Eboni and Leah, too. I don't know what was up with Luann, but she seemed more invested in chatting with her off-screen cabaret coordinator, which messed up the flow. Overall, though, I really like the fondness these women have for each other. @Chris B I did notice the trailer seemed focused on the Hamptons and Salem trips, so hopefully there is more that we are not seeing! I assume Salem is subbing for the Berkshires this Halloween. I am especially interested in Heather and why she withdrew suddenly. Also, the fact that Sonja hasn't spoken to Ramona and Luann is shocking to me. All 3 of them live on the Upper East Side now! At first I thought Ramona and Lu are in an alliance and did they nudge Sonja out? But judging by this first episode, it looks like Sonja is dealing with some financial stuff and pulling away from them. Fan question on WWHL asked if Dorinda was around, whether she would have prevented Ramona and Luann from becoming friends. 🤔 Hmmm. Ramona seemed to think so. Clearly there is no love lost between R and Dorinda atm. RHOD: I am on the fence about Kary. She is a polarising figure (taking a leaf out of LeeAnne's playbook) and that makes for drama. On the other hand, some of the stuff she did really turned me off -- it wasn't entertaining to me, and I was left feeling that this is an awful, vapid, selfish and childish woman. I did feel sorry for her at reunion, though, because this divorce is definitely happening and she definitely did not initiate it. I have to wonder how she is going to cope, because she is used to a husband taking care of her financially. If she comes back -- and that is a big IF -- it would be nice to see some layers and self-analysis. I would love for RHOD to be given a second chance/reboot, because I am rooting for it. I enjoy it and believe it has real potential. However, I have a horrible feeling that this past season WAS its second chance. They stuck the reunion on at 10.30pm after WWHL -- Bravo is not getting ratings/ad dollars from RHOD. As you would imagine for a 10.30pm timeslot, the ratings slipped further. I hope RHOD recoups some views on the streaming services or via delayed-watching, and that Bravo takes that into account. IA that this actual episode was solid and interesting and flew by quickly. It even set up some interesting dynamics going into the next season, if Bravo chooses to go with it. Kameron, however, was a major turnoff and it felt like her mask has slipped. I liked and felt for Kary more this episode than Kam.

ITA. RHONY felt like a breath of fresh air, and the jokes were another level. Like others have mentioned here, I do worry that 5 women is too insular a cast. Time will tell whether we need an Alpha like Dorinda there, although at the moment I am mot missing her dark energy from last year. Heather and Bershan will be welcome additions, and so far I am loving Eboni. She really strove to establish connections with the women and the audience. I loved her Tribeca apartament, and her honesty about her financial and romantic past. Once again, RHONY takes it another level by actually mentioning these things. The fondness and warmth the other women showed Leah made me enjoy her too. Sonja is a honey. I worry about the fact that she and Luann/Ramona are on the outs. Maybe because she was stuck in the middle of nowhere for the first 4 months of the pandemic. I think she's going to bring us story this year.

Excited for the RHONY premiere tonight. I didn't mind Leah all that much either. As you say, it's a case of Leah having got lucky last season. Number one reason is that RHONY aired just as many of us in North America and Europe went straight into lockdown in March 2020 -- watching it was honestly like grabbing onto a life-raft in those early, v scary, uncertain days. And then Bravo went ALL IN on Leah and, of course, being a hyper-social-media-aware millennial, she maximised her standing. We got A LOT of Leah on the off-season, and it was exhausting after a while. (By contrast, Sonja and Luann just aren't in the same league, SM-wise. And Ramona seems blithely unaware that TMZ can spot her with a long lens waddling around Mar-a-Lago). I too like a sex-positive message, and IA that Kandi does it best. She shows this by her quiet actions, not her words. The Bolo event she (not Production!) made happen was actually very sex-positive and self-actualizing for some of the women. -------------- So the Potomac ladies are filming something -- Telfar x UGGs promotion, it looks like. Candiace looks like a kid next to Wendy, Mia and Robyn.
