  1. Justin: Shouldn't we discuss your legal options against Carter in private? Eric: No, Carter's like family, he should stay
  2. LMAO at the Ridge/Carter best friends montage. A bunch of office scenes and shaking hands at a Christmas party.
  3. CBS looking smart for not moving B&B to 2:30 next year. The Talk being the steadiest show in daytime is interesting. Probably can be chalked up to avoiding politics (I assume still) and all the non-right wing news/opinion shows have seen their ratings tank post-election. Curious if The Gates team got a memo to cut down the political storylines.
  4. Because Ridge doesn't see him as a romantic rival. Pretty sure he's the only long-running man on this show older than Rick not to show interest in Brooke, Taylor or one of the Carolines.
  5. Not to take anything away from Ms. Williams, who is 100% deserving of recognition, but this absolutely not a big event in Canada. Being forced to give up a Saturday or Sunday to attend with clients is somewhat of a legal hazing ritual for those in marketing, media buying, or advertising agencies.
  6. Everyone's entitled to their opinion....but I'm of the opinion that GH was correct in telling daytime's most famous and highest rated storyline. Claire Labine had an amazing start to GH that lasted almost 18 months. This came to a crashing halt by overlapping the cancer and AIDS stories. While both were well written and acted, combined they totally sucked the energy out of the show. Even "fun" stories at the time such as Lois' wedding felt like they had an air of melancholy hovering over it.
  7. Agreed. It's not 1994 anymore but you'd think CBS would want people to develop more a viewing habit for it before the March Madness pre-emptions start a few weeks later.
  8. Did the show just forget that Brooke, not Ridge, is supposed to be Steffy's co-CEO?
  9. Just cut HFTF already and let Hope, Carter & Brooke either buy it out and/or start a new company. Hope/Steffy confrontations are getting so stale because it's happening every week in either of the 2 FC sets. Carter & Steffy's conflict over the direction of the company wont go anywhere either. Brooke becoming co-CEO has been a big fat nothingburger too. She can kiss Ridge after recapping other people's stories at home. Let Steffy have tension with Ridge & Eric for a while. She's the CEO but they went over her head to restart the jewellery line. There's a generational conflict to be mined there - why not flip the script have her be uneasy allies with Ivy for a bit.
  10. Carter butting heads with Steffy was actually fun to watch. It would be nice if the show focused on the conflict between these 2 intelligent business people with vastly different styles and upbringings rather than having Carter revert to becoming a pawn in the latest "Logans vs Forresters" drama.
  11. I can suspend disbelief for Taylor's broken heat disease, Luna being a serial killer and Sheila coming back from the dead a dozen times but Donna being in a weekly chess club is a bridge too far.
  12. That's a bit of a stretch, she's in her mid 30s, runs her own line and her mother's the co-CEO. Wouldn't every relationship at FC be inappropriate by this standard save for Pam & the security guard?
  13. Steffy to Hope next week: "If you don't give my mother your heart I'm discontinuing Hope For The Future"
  14. Hats off, you called everything Luna. Maybe now that he's redeemed they'll actually use Zende in a real story in the coming months? You'd think CBS would ask B&B/Y&R to feature their Black cast more leading up to the Gates launch.
  15. Yes to all of this. There's no reason to believe it's Bell's intent - but rolling in the non-entity Bridget recast while they're introducing new young Taylor just seems cruel to KKL.
  16. It's a good thing the actress who plays Steffy looks like she goes to the gym, because she's in for a lot of heavy lifting to sell Luna as the heavy.
  17. 100% Ideally the new Taylor will develop chemistry with Ridge & Steffy, but Brooke is the most important to hit the ground running with. Have to ask though, has the show ever given a reason why she keeps going back to Taylor Hayes after she divorces the latest husband? Taylor Hamilton doesn't exactly roll off the tongue, but...
  18. I hope the Steffy/Hope confrontation is real. This show has been way too indulgent on fakeouts as of late.
  19. I agree, she's going to move onto Ridge Will with Stephanie Katie blasting those darn Logan Yamada tramps! As for the killer, just gonna bump this:
  20. The fake Taylor is back! But was the voiceover necessary when she talked to Steffy 2 seconds later?
  21. I think he'll just be the Gen-Z Ridge/Liam lead bumping RJ down to the Thorne/Wyatt slot.
  22. Quinn would be so much more fun sticking her nose in Bill's latest baby momma drama than Katie. Not equating the two characters at all, but Quinn's departure left the biggest hole on the canvas since Stephanie.
  23. "The Gates will shoot in Atlanta from November 4, 2024, to August 29, 2025." Manny posted that on page 80.
  24. It'll be 4 months ahead at the end of 2025 if the last day of filming it 8/25/25. That doesn't seem ideal for the first year of a show to work out its kinks, but financial realities are what they are.
