  1. I can suspend disbelief for Taylor's broken heat disease, Luna being a serial killer and Sheila coming back from the dead a dozen times but Donna being in a weekly chess club is a bridge too far.
  2. That's a bit of a stretch, she's in her mid 30s, runs her own line and her mother's the co-CEO. Wouldn't every relationship at FC be inappropriate by this standard save for Pam & the security guard?
  3. Steffy to Hope next week: "If you don't give my mother your heart I'm discontinuing Hope For The Future"
  4. Hats off, you called everything Luna. Maybe now that he's redeemed they'll actually use Zende in a real story in the coming months? You'd think CBS would ask B&B/Y&R to feature their Black cast more leading up to the Gates launch.
  5. Yes to all of this. There's no reason to believe it's Bell's intent - but rolling in the non-entity Bridget recast while they're introducing new young Taylor just seems cruel to KKL.
  6. It's a good thing the actress who plays Steffy looks like she goes to the gym, because she's in for a lot of heavy lifting to sell Luna as the heavy.
  7. 100% Ideally the new Taylor will develop chemistry with Ridge & Steffy, but Brooke is the most important to hit the ground running with. Have to ask though, has the show ever given a reason why she keeps going back to Taylor Hayes after she divorces the latest husband? Taylor Hamilton doesn't exactly roll off the tongue, but...
  8. I hope the Steffy/Hope confrontation is real. This show has been way too indulgent on fakeouts as of late.
  9. I agree, she's going to move onto Ridge Will with Stephanie Katie blasting those darn Logan Yamada tramps! As for the killer, just gonna bump this:
  10. The fake Taylor is back! But was the voiceover necessary when she talked to Steffy 2 seconds later?
  11. I think he'll just be the Gen-Z Ridge/Liam lead bumping RJ down to the Thorne/Wyatt slot.
  12. Quinn would be so much more fun sticking her nose in Bill's latest baby momma drama than Katie. Not equating the two characters at all, but Quinn's departure left the biggest hole on the canvas since Stephanie.
  13. "The Gates will shoot in Atlanta from November 4, 2024, to August 29, 2025." Manny posted that on page 80.
  14. It'll be 4 months ahead at the end of 2025 if the last day of filming it 8/25/25. That doesn't seem ideal for the first year of a show to work out its kinks, but financial realities are what they are.
  15. History supports your statement! But this could actually be a great umbrella storyline. I'd have Li be the killer then have her convince Steffy to help her hide a piece of evidence to frame Sheila "for the good of the family." This would give a more logical reason to push Finn towards Hope when the truth is revealed. It can also lead to Brooke pushing her out of the co-CEO position. I like Steffy (and the actress) but let's see her claw her way back to the top for a while rather than smirking from the catbird seat.
  16. I think it'll be weeks of It's Sheila! Followed by weeks of It's Poppy! Then it'll be Li - framing Poppy for revenge for having a baby with Jack. Unless they change their mind and have it be Justin or something dumb like that.
  17. Bridget was great in the Jennifer Finnegan era but to me she's the poster child for a character that needed to be rested/phased out. After the Deacon/Brooke affair she was reduced to being the wet blanket in various love triangles apart from that icky flirtation with Ridge. Her presence with Hope & Deacon on the canvas also ages Brooke & Ridge to their 70s. Unfair to the character perhaps, but the D/B/B triangle was the show's most memorable story of the past 25 years. Being 30 minutes helps but B&B is the best show at phasing out once popular characters that no longer serve a purpose. That said I agree with the previous posters saying Ridge can use a rest - at least for a few months.
  18. AW: Grant & Amanda Morgan & Brett Josie & Ian Matt & Sophia Dennis & Marley The show seemed perfectly happy to park a good portion of the cast in pointless pairings to wait out the end of their contracts in the early/mid 90s.
  19. Cool that it'll be focused on a Black family but I groaned when I read that they'll be wealthy. Was Ryan's Hope 50 years ago the last US soap launched that did NOT center on a rich family?
  20. You're both right actually. Only the final episode of MacGyver aired on a Saturday, following the last episodes of Who's The Boss and Growing Pains.
