Personally I’d prefer a clean break from the Showtime version. (Setting that show in a nondescript Pittsburgh was a mistake.) I’d love to see a new version in a diverse lively place like New Orleans, Miami, or Atlanta.

RTD’s involvement is heartening. He’s a fantastic writer. I’m assuming this version will be more ethnically diverse than the earlier ones, but why Bravo? They certainly can’t have any explicit sexuality.

Indya Moore is really good as Angel. I was surprised she has little acting experience. I watched the first couple episodes. I wish someone with a stronger visual sense directed the dance sequences. They are lackluster IMO.
