This show sucks. This tear-soaked $Bill/Justin yellfest is so much cringe. Aaron D. Spears deserves better.

Glad to see classic TV really making inroads in the streaming era.

She would have been great with all of them and especially Bobbie too. She would have excelled with the Quartermaines and would likely have been intrigued by Justus as a new player within the family. And Simone and Keesha would have been more than just afterthoughts. Tony’s post-B.J. downward spiral probably would have been handled with a lighter touch (less psycho, maybe more akin to Ed’s trauma after Maureen’s death?)

I didn’t know Yoshi was playing Newport. He’s playing Jack Sock today. Yoshi was beating the brakes off Jack the last time they played in Miami, but had to retire with that ACL injury.

Try as they might, and they tried this episode to give us fun and drama (and even “touching moments” with the women rallying around a grieving Eboni and defending Sonja), but this RHONY cast has zero chemistry. Bershan definitely came to get it poppin, but it felt as forced as Leah’s bullsh!t (and it’s rich that Leah had so much to say about Bershan’s behavior—two peas in a pod). For me, NY is the most rewatchable franchise, but I’ve begun skipping reruns this season.

I thought he was really good as Shayne on GL.

It’s a really fun show. Sweep-the-Emmys-level good? Eh. But it’s super charming, and I love David’s sweaters. I wasn’t familiar with Annie Murphy before this, but she’s a very pleasant surprise.

I’m finding DAYS (alongside the usual suspects, Y&R and B&B) hard to get through these days. The summer doldrums have arrived.

If these folks don’t see what they have in Trina/Spencer, I feel sorry for them (although I wouldn’t be surprised if they don’t). Lightning in a bottle.

That is very true! A little of a skater/metrosexual/late ‘90s boy-band hangover too. Although I give SC credit for getting his body right. (He’s annoying af on B&B, but he’s extremely attractive.)

Scott Clifton has aged really well. He looked like a zaftig young Ryan Reynolds clone with frosted tips in that old GH clip in the Stuart Damon thread.

She always wants to step on Andy’s toes and be a moderator. She tried that with Kenya on WWHL and got gathered for it.

Jason Brooks is walking sex (to this day) in a way that few actors can capture, so he’d be ideal, but that would absolutely burn that bridge with Missy Reeves. (I’d suspect that bringing him back, even as a recast, would be enough.)

Or Ted King maybe. Only if Missy is completely gone and Jason Brooks isn’t a no-no.
