The authors had a book signing and discussion in Los Angeles tonight. Did anyone go?

No new word. When Susan Lucci was in Los Angeles promoting her book, she met up with Eva La Rue and Rebecca Budig and Eva posted a photo on IG of the three of them with a caption saying the movies were "definitely" happening. Then a few hours later, Eva edited her post saying they are "in development." I think she got a lot of fans excited (and ahead of themselves) with her original post so she had to modify what she said.

I vaguely remember the ceramic leopard storyline with Kendall. Didn't Corvina also have a leopard?

How are they defining a season? When did each season begin and end?

I was watching a YouTube clip of Tara's return, and one comment had me chuckling: I'd never heard that rumor at the time. Given all the budget cuts AMC was dealing with, I highly doubt it was true. That said, can you imagine if Deidre Hall had played Tara? And if she had, would she have gotten the coveted "And Deidre Hall as Tara Jefferson" credit? 😛

One thing I didn't remember from watching 20 years ago was that Hayley referred to Mateo as "Matt" in his first few episodes. It really caught me off guard during this rewatch.

It is kind of a shame because didn't Palmer officially adopt her son, Andrew? Andrew could have been integrated into the canvas again at some point.

I felt as if Maria took Brooke's storyline. I think Brooke was meant to be the one eventually moving into Wildwind and clashing with Erica under the same roof. But I guess if that had happened the Santos family would not have been fleshed out and we wouldn't have gotten Julia, Noah, Mateo, etc. and Hayley would not have married Mateo and Kelly Ripa would be hosting Live with someone else 😂

As I recall Maria was initially supposed to be a love interest for Trevor. Back in the day, I much preferred Brooke and Edmund over Maria and Edmund.

I actually find it easier to VPN and watch on Pluto TV Canada than to watch on BeondTV.

One nice touch is that between episodes, they’re sprinkling in archival AMC clips and actor soundbites. Just now there was a clip from a 1980s episode featuring Cliff and Nina’s wedding, plus Benny and Phoebe. Then there was a soundbite from Susan Lucci reflecting on Agnes Nixon’s writing.
