    -Viki looks at Clint and says “Yes…vaguely, from a long time ago……” and Victor then says “Viki? That must be you.” and Clint tells Viki with a glance at Victor “Come on, we are leaving.” and he slowly takes her hand and as they go, Victor and Viki look at each other. Clint and Viki exit the hospital, and Victor says “I won’t let you take her that easily, Clint. You won’t be able to survive against Victor Kiriakis….”

    -Kate eventually stands and leaves the Pub after Lucas does, and she says to herself as she walks out “There is nothing I can do now…..Helena would have me killed if I interfered in her plans. Goodbye, Sami…” though little does Kate know, Vivian watches from behind a bush….

    -Steve looks at Gina, and then says “Britta Englund? A woman Bo and I fought over, and the first woman I truly loved? Explain how you look like his wife.” and she says “Oh Steve, darling, I can’t do that. All I can say is I used an alias….Gina….” and she then tells him “I must have lost track of time…those police are going to be after me any minute.” but as she turns to leave, Steve grabs her hand and says “You aren’t going anywhere.”

    *Days of Our Lives Opening*

    -As Bo and Hope walk through town searching for Gina, Bo calls Abe and asks him if they have all the exits from Salem blocked off. He says as many as they can, and Bo thanks him. Abe tells him they are doing the best they can, and they’ll continue. After they get done on the phone Bo and Hope continue searching for Gina, while Abe’s phone rings at the police station and he answers it to hear the voice of….CELESTE!

    -As Viki and Clint leave the hospital, Clint tells her “We need to get back to Llanview, and out of this town. From what I hear it isn’t a good place to be….and that Victor didn’t give me a good feeling either.” and Viki then says “Somehow…I remember him…..I don’t know what the exact connection is….” and Clint warns her not to dwell on it, and to just get back to their family. Viki slowly nods…..

    -Vivian smirks behind the bush and says “Well, I suppose it’s time to see what is on my dear old friend Kate’s mind…..” and as Kate leaves, Vivian stands and walks off as well, with a large grin on her face…

    -Gina tells Steve there is no more time to speak to him, and he says that she can’t just tell him she is his dead ex-girlfreind and run off. He tries to pull her back, and she elbows him in the stomach and he yells out in pain, and she says “Sorry, Steve….but I was forced to do it….” but as he sees her walk off he runs and grabs her again and she then yells “LET GO OF ME!” and suddenly, Bo and Hope who are close by hear her….

    -Abe asks Celeste where she is and how she was able to call him, and she responds shakily “Abraham, I have managed to escape from my room inside Stefano’s hideout for a short time. I have called to warn you, there isn’t much time….” and he asks her where the hideout is and she says she is not quite sure but she knows it is not in Salem. She tells Abe he must stop Stefano soon, because he is not finished with his deeds yet, and then she says before hanging up “Abraham, you are the only one who can save Alexandra now….”

    -Viki asks Clint if he’s sure they should leave Salem, and at first Victor thought she was Nikki. Viki thinks they need to stay in Salem to at least investigate what Nikki was doing here and how she knows Victor. Clint says she’s right, and reluctantly agrees.

    -Hope says that sounded like Gina, and Bo says he’d know that voice anywhere. She says of course he would, its hers. Bo manages to smirk as they run into the alleyway, to see Steve and Gina in a struggle. Bo removes his gun and tells Gina to freeze. Gina yells “Not a chance!” and finally breaks free from Steve’s grip, but then Bo fires as Steve begins to chase after her. No one is hit, and Hope says “Let me handle this.” as she runs after Gina….

    -Abe thinks of Celeste’s last words, and then walks over to Allan’s desk. He tells him he needs him to get Roman and Marlena up here quickly, and when he can Bo and Hope as well. He then says it involves Stefano, and Allan tells Abe to not worry.

    -Steve and Hope chase after Gina, and Hope tries to grab her but Gina shoves her away in time and they run through another alleyway, and after going through several alleyways they lose her. Steve breaths heavily and says “No, she can’t get away….” and several tears pour down Hope’s cheeks in anger. Bo comes up behind her and puts his hands on her shoulders, but she says she doesn’t need his comfort and they WILL get Gina, no matter what it takes. Steve then says “You mean Britta.” and Bo says in confusion “What?” as they both look at Steve. Steve then tells them that before they came, she told them she was Britta Englund. Bo exclaims that can’t be true and Britta died over twenty years ago. Steve says that’s what he thought….but it was something about her that made previous memories of her come flowing back, and when she kissed him it made him remember everything involving her. Bo then looks at Hope and whispers “No, it can’t be…”

    Episode#160

    -Christopher comes over and Roman asks how the hell she escaped, and asked if she had a guard by her door. Christopher replied yes she did but they found him stripped of most of his clothes and apparently she had pushed on his pressure point which is how she escaped. Abe says he is going to send out search teams for her immediately.

    -Greta sits in the Salem Inn as she flashes back to being outside Chez Rouge over Steve’s unconscious body. She remembers saying he was her father, and she slowly says to herself she has to tell him and Kayla someday. As she stands and slowly walks around she says “I can’t keep this thing a secret forever.” and suddenly NICOLE is revealed to be listening from the door. She smirks and says to herself “Now what would that secret be, Greta?”

    -Tony and Anna arrive in the small town of Aremid, and as they walk through town Anna comments the place is very desolate. Tony tells her he has heard the same thing, even from when most of Salem was here in 1995. Tony and Anna slowly walk up to a fairly large sized house, and Tony says this is it. This was the house that is owned by the DiMeras and was the one that Andre killed himself in twelve years ago.

    -Julie walks into Hope’s house to see Hope sitting with Pamela and Addie. She smiles at Julie as she puts the babies down and greets her and asks how she is. Julie says she is pretty much fine, but she just visited Doug at the hospital.

    *Life in Salem Opening*

    -Roman tells Abe he’s realized they can’t just sit back anymore, and they have to find Stefano and Helena. Abe says they just need to find where they are, and Roman says obviously Stefano wouldn’t be anywhere near Salem so they need to find out what DiMera private jets were used lately! Abe agrees and they leave, while Christopher watches as they go and thinks he recognizes the name Stefano…

    -Greta says to herself she should go find out what is currently occurring in Steve and Kayla’s life, and she grabs her purse and heads towards the door. Nicole hears her coming and hides behind a wall as Greta walks out and leaves the Salem Inn, and Nicole vows to find out Greta’s secret, and decides to follow her!

    -Tony and Anna enter the house, and Anna asks where they should search first. Tony automatically says “The study.” and Anna asks “Why so sudden with your answer?” and Tony is silent for a moment and says he’s unsure, but they should search there anyway. Anna nods as they head up to the study.

    -Hope slowly asks how he is, and Julie says sadly he’s the same. Julie asks Hope how she is, and Hope says she’s as good as she can be. She says her and Bo were supposed to investigate something about the DiMeras but she’s not ready. She is still grieving Alice and after the discovery Gina killed Shawn she just can barely do anything, and she doesn’t even have her father or sons. Julie sniffs and pulls Hope into a hug as Maggie walks in.

    -Greta walks up to the entrance to the Pub and watches as Steve and Kayla are talking inside. She watches and says “Not now…” and turns around to leave, and then says to herself “From what I know they have enough problems with Victor Kiriakis as it is. Now is not the right time to reveal Steve is my father…” and as she walks on the screen pans to reveal Nicole listening in on what Greta said! Nicole’s eyes widen and she says “Steve is Greta’s FATHER?!” and as she slowly walks forward she smirks and says “I can use this to my advantage…”

    -Tony and Anna walk into the study at the house in Aremid, and begin to look around, searching for anything they can find. Anna says there has to be something in here and Tony agrees, and suddenly as Tony looks at the couch and examines the study closely he has a small flashback of a gun going off!

    -Maggie smiles at Julie and Hope, and as Hope wipes away a few tears that came out of her eyes she greets Maggie. Maggie walks over and hugs Hope, and Julie says they are just still trying to get over what happened to Alice and what happened to Doug. Maggie nods and says she understands and it took her some time to get over Mickey’s death. She then says but they are Hortons, and they are strong. She tells Julie and Hope they will get through this, it is what Alice and Doug would want. Julie agrees, and after a few seconds Hope nods, and all three embrace each other.

    -Abe and Roman try to look for information back at the police station on if any DiMera private jets have been known leaving anywhere recently, and finally after some time Roman discovers a DiMera jet was only a few hours ago leaving for Italy! Roman tells Abe of what he has discovered, and Abe says then that concludes it. Stefano is in Italy, and then Roman says they have to go there to stop him.

    Episode#167

    -Ivan finds Vivian at Alamain, and informs her Forrest is trying to discover what she did as the Mysterious Woman! Vivian tells Ivan there is no need to worry, and she will deal with her nephew and Kate once and for all.

    -Many Salemites arrive in Italy, and Steve and Kayla meet up with Allan, Hattie, Max, Lucas, and Billie and inform them of why they are here. Greta gets off a plane as well, and watches the rest from a distance, but suddenly NICOLE is seen watching Greta! Nicole says it’s time for Greta’s secret to be revealed, and Gina watches them all. Gina gasps when she sees Greta!

    -Lexie then says after a moment of silence that she has the bullet removed and Nikolas should be fine. She turns to Abe, and Abe tells Bo to go tell Helena her grandson is alive and should be fine. Bo nods and leaves, and Abe looks into Lexie’s eyes and says he’s will always love her, but he can’t ignore the law, and even if he could, he can’t be with her and he hopes she knows that.

    -Helena tells EJ to do the honors, and finally kill his father! EJ gulps and looks at Stefano, wondering if he should really kill him…

    *Life in Salem Opening*

    -Tony and Anna’s plane touches down in Italy, and they meet up with the rest. As they talk about what to do and such, Tony suddenly says the palace is where Stefano should be. Allan asks if he’s sure, and Tony nods. They all agree and head off, with Greta, Nicole, and Gina all following. Meanwhile Max decides to search for Erin.

    -Kate, after getting to Italy, slowly walks through the streets. She remembers how Helena’s message told her she could most likely find her at the DiMera palace. She flashes back as to how when she was Stefano’s lover, they once went to the DiMera palace. She sighs as she continues to walk.

    -Stefano stares at EJ coldly and says “Fine. Shoot me. Shoot the man who saved you from your mother and raised you.” and EJ keeps looking back and forth between Helena and Stefano, and finally says “No. I can’t do it.” and Stefano begins to cackle, but EJ then shouts “I think both of you are PATHETIC!”

    -Lexie tells Abe she accepted that a long time ago, she accepted it when he found Tek and her together in June of 2006. Abe tells her he doesn’t think she did, and Lexie continues to deny it. Abe then says she hoped they would get back together like they and everyone else in Salem always do. Lexie finally says “Fine, I did! That’s why I never put much thought into anything even when you found Tek and I together…I-I got cocky and arrogant! But then Tek came on to me later on and I had that gun for defense…it accidentally went off and that’s what caused everything!” and she breaks down, and Abe takes her hand as she stares up at him. He tells her she will always have a special place in his heart, and they share a child together. He says he can’t stop loving her, but he can’t get into another relationship with her. He then whispers “Goodbye, Lexie…I will always love you in my own way…remember that.” and they lean in to kiss one last time, before Abe turns and walks off. Lexie tearfully watches, and takes out her cell phone shakingly. She dials a number and then says into the phone “You need to hurry, there…isn’t much time…” and after a moment she hangs up, and sits down. She then whispers “I’ll prove myself to you, Abe…you may be done with me, but I’ll show you I will always help you, and never turn on you again…"

    -Belle and Jan leave the airport after the Spears Jet sets down. Belle asks what they should do to find Gina, and Jan says first of all they need to find Bo and Hope, and she remembers Gina had some problems with them. Belle agrees, and says Bo and Hope were with her mom and dad. She takes out her cell phone and calls Marlena!

    -Marlena hears her phone ringing, and she quickly reaches into her pocket to try to hold her hand over it to silence it. Helena is too distraught to hear, and Marlena looks at Roman. Helena asks EJ what he’s thinking, and EJ says for quite some time he has been going back and forth between who to side with: His mother, or his father. He says he is done thinking, he is just going to take the DiMera AND Cassadine thrones from both of them!

    *Life in Salem Opening*

    -Max asks around the town in Italy about Erin, and none have seen her. After some more asking and nothing found, he sighs. Suddenly a man in a mask approaches him, and says “So you are looking for Erin?” and he looks at him and quickly stands, saying “Who the hell are you?” and he growls “I’m her killer…"

    -Allan and co. arrive outside of the DiMera Palace. He tries to open the door but then says it is locked and sealed, and tells Lucas he might need his help to break it open. While Lucas comes to try to help Allan, Tony slowly slips out of sight…

    -Stefano shouts “EJ! HOW COULD YOU?!” and Helena looks at EJ in shock, while Marlena slowly answers her phone and whispers “Hello?” and Belle is on the other line, and Marlena tells Belle to quickly find Allan or someone back in Salem and get help, but Belle then tells her she’s in Italy, looking for Gina! Marlena hisses “No! Belle, we’re currently being held hostage in the DiMera Palace, it’s not safe here!” and meanwhile EJ continues on to tell Stefano and Helena both of them have been failures and are getting quite useless. Helena turns to Stefano and yells “YOU BASTARD! THIS IS ALL YOUR DAMN FAULT!” and fires several shots at Stefano. Stefano is able to dodge one but the others hit him right in the chest. He slowly falls back into a chair, and as Helena begins to shoot wildly in anger Roman darts at her and manages to grab the gun out of her hand and toss it aside just as Bo walks in. Megan runs to Stefano’s side as he just clutches his chest and stares at the ceiling with eyes wide. Megan shouts to Helena angrily that she’s killed her own father, and Helena tells her that was the point. EJ points the gun at Helena and growls “You’re next, mother.” Suddenly, they all hear banging on the main entrance doors and Allan shouts from the outside “Is anyone in there?! Whats happening?!” and then Sami shouts “Yes, we’re here!” and Lucas then yells they can’t get the main doors open.

    -Jan asks Belle what the hell is going on, and Belle says all she knows is that they’re at the DiMera palace and there are gun shots going off! Jan groans and comments that something like this always has to happen However Jan looks around, and says someone’s watching them. Belle asks what she means, and Jan says she can feel it. She hears swift movement in an alleyway, and runs over to it to see Gina running! Jan yells “THERE SHE IS!” and both women take off after Gina.

    -Max grabs the man by his collar and yells “What have you done to Erin?!” and the man chuckles as he shows Max a body bag! Max stares at it in shock and yells “NO!” and punches the man in the face, and the man smirks. He says that Max wasn’t the only man Erin had…she also had him! He goes on to tell Max Erin was tricking him the whole time. The man then tells Max the tape and letters were all fake…and they were both really a couple and hired by the DiMeras! Max stutters in shock and says no Erin wouldn’t do that, and the man says he’s afraid she would, and that Stefano didn’t forget about the youngest Brady, because he’s related to Bo and Roman. Several more of Stefano’s men come behind Max and Max asks what the hell they are doing, and the man explains that Stefano needs an edge against Roman and that’s why he targeted Max in the first place, because he had a feeling this war would happen and Roman would be chasing after him. Max is then dragged off!

    -Hope slowly stands up and goes to Bo’s side, and as Abe walks in overhearing Allan he’ll says he can help unlock the doors, but suddenly a window shatters! EJ mutters “Oh what now?” and suddenly, men in black clothing are seen sliding down into the palace from broken windows using ropes, and suddenly one throws a smoke bomb down and everyone begins to cough. From the outside Steve asks what the hell is happening in there, and Anna looks around wondering where Tony is! Helena in the midst of the smoke breaks free of Roman’s grasp and runs off deeper into the palace and Roman yells “NO!” but cannot see a thing. Slowly as the smoke clears someone is seen with EJ’s gun holding it to EJ’s head, and the person is soon revealed to be…

    Episode#169

    -Belle and Jan chase after Gina, and Gina quickly runs into another street and they follow. Belle leaps forward and grabs Gina by the back of her neck and pulls her into the alleyway, and Gina remarks “Oh look. Isabella Black. Looks like you are not a little teenager anymore.” and Belle tells her to shut the hell up and that she’s here for revenge on Shawn’s death, but Gina suddenly grabs Belle’s wrist and throws Belle against the wall and holds her there, and whispers “Sorry, but that is not on the schedule.”

    -Helena quickly runs through the halls, damning them all. She briefly looks in at the small clinic and sees Nikolas lying unconscious and she can tell he is alright. She continues on and says to herself she hopes Stefano rots in Hell, and then a voice says coldly “The Phoenix NEVER dies.” and suddenly STEFANO comes out of the shadows and grabs Helena’s arm and pulls her close, and she gasps in shock!

    -Shane Donovan is revealed to be the one holding EJ’s gun and has EJ restrained, and Roman says “Shane?! What the hell are you doing h-” but then he looks over and sees Stefano is gone and asks where the hell he went. Bo says with sarcasm “Great. Both of them escaped.”, and Shane tells them all Lexie contacted him shortly after the disaster at Chez Rouge back in Salem, and she had turned against Stefano and needed his and the ISA’s help to stop him, and they had been planning something like this for a long time. Abe stares at Shane and remembers what Lexie said back in the clinic. Marlena interrupts and says whatever the case is, they have to find Stefano and Helena! Shane agrees but says neither can get far and ISA agents are spread out everywhere. While Abe gets the main entrance open for the rest outside, Shane quickly gives EJ to two other agents and they handcuff him and take him away and then he, Roman, Marlena, Bo, and Hope all head off.

    *Life in Salem Opening*

    -Helena asks Stefano how he survived those gun shots, and Stefano then asks Helena if she really thinks he would be stupid enough to not wear a bullet proof vest. Helena tells him this does not end the war, and she still has some cards up her sleeve. Stefano then tells her “You have not seen any of my cards yet, my dear.” and suddenly opens a door and tosses Helena down a stairwell!

    -Belle yells tearfully “YOU KILLED HIM! I DON’T CARE HOW STRONG OR RICH YOU ARE, I WILL AVENGE HIS DEATH!” but she cannot fight Gina’s tight grip, and she screams for Jan to help her. Jan stares at the two women and thinks to herself this could be her chance to finally let her rival, the woman who ruined her life in so many ways, die. But she looks at Gina and says “She killed my Shawn. My baby’s father!” and then she takes out a knife and charges at Gina, but Gina laughs and jumps out of the way, and Belle lets out a scream and Jan realizes she can’t stop, and her knife goes right through Belle’s stomach!

    -Allan quickly walks into the palace and Abe updates him on what is going on, and Sami runs into Lucas’s arms and he holds her and she says she is so glad to see him. Hattie follows Allan while Billie and Anna continue to stand outside, as Anna tries to look around for Tony and calls his name but nothing. However suddenly in the foyer, MANY of Stefano’s men burst out of hidden places with gun’s blazing. The group and ISA agents turn in shock and Abe yells for everyone to get down, and Lucas quickly pushes Sami down while Hattie runs off into another room for cover and Billie, Steve, Kayla, and Anna back up outside in shock. The ISA agents fire back and a huge gunfire battle breaks out.

    -Shane, Roman, Marlena, Bo, and Hope all run through the deep halls of the DiMera Palace and run into Lexie! Lexie sighs in relief seeing Shane, and Shane says they are getting everything under control. Roman tells her how Stefano and Helena are both running loose, and she says she’ll help her find them. However as they continue on…MORE of Stefano’s men come out from hidden rooms and small places and begin to shoot! Shane tells them all to quickly keep going as he fires back at them and slowly runs with the rest.

    -Gina says “Ta Ta, girls.” and runs off, and Jan looks down at what she has done in shock. Suddenly, Philip emerges and darts to Belle’s side, and holds her and both of them look at him in shock. Philip tells Jan to just get out of here, and she asks him what he’s going in Italy and he tells her that is none of her business. Jan groans in anger and says “Fine.” and continues to try to find Gina, while Philip takes out his phone and dials a number.

    -Megan is outside of the palace on the side, slipping out the window in the midst of the smoke after Stefano escaped the foyer. As Billie slowly walks around looking for anything to help she sees Megan! Megan then says to herself that now she knows everything here is taking course, she can go back to Salem and take Bo’s daughters!!! Billie gasps and says “You’re not going anywhere.” and Megan turns in shock. Billie tackles her and the two get into a fierce catfight.

    -Bo hears his cell phone ringing, and once he and Hope get to a place where they have well hidden cover from Stefano’s men he answers it and says “Brady”, and he hears Philip’s voice! He tries to ask Philip questions but Philip tells him what occurred with Gina, and Bo decides to save the questions for later and he says he’ll try to be there soon, and he hangs up and Hope asks what happened and Bo tells her Belle is in Italy and encountered Gina, and Jan accidentally stabbed her while trying to get Gina. Hope exclaims that they have to get there and get Belle to safety and find Gina, but then Bo says first they have to tell Roman and Marlena.

    -Helena stands up in pain after Stefano threw her down the stairwell, and Stefano then says at the top of the staircase that it’s time to unleash the dogs of war, and in her case, literally! Stefano punches a button on the wall and suddenly a gated area begins to open and ravaging dogs charge at Helena, while Stefano shuts the door and locks it and continues on.

    -Kate stands outside in the garden of the DiMera Palace, and she says to herself chaos is erupting everywhere on these grounds. She tries to find a side entrance, but bumps into Tony! She gasps and Tony asks her what the lovely Kate Roberts would be doing in Italy at the DiMera Mansion;. She tries to think of a response, but he grabs her saying he thinks she knows, since he has heard about how she helped Helena Cassadine try to kill Samantha Brady, so that most likely means she has an alliance with Helena. Kate denies it and says that is not true at all, but Tony says he disagrees and takes out a gun!!!! He says there is a war being fought, and any ally of Helena must be eliminated. Kate screams and tells him he wouldn’t do this, not even to her! Tony then leans in to her ear and whispers “Tony wouldn’t, but I would. You see my dear, I am Tony’s alternate personality….” and then he has a wide evil grin as he slowly leans back and then puts the gun right to Kate's head, and FIRES! Kate’s body then falls into the grass as he lets go of her and walks off…

    -Jan is running around as they begin to get very close to the DiMera Palace, Jan on Gina’s prowl. Jan dashes after her and catches her by the hair and throws her to the ground. “Shawn Brady was the love of my life and you took his!! Now your going to pay!” she screams with anger fueling her voice “Wait!!” Gina says.

    -Stefano, coming to a conclusion that Helena should be eaten and dead by now returns to the room where he locked his ex lover. He presses the button, and opens the door to find his dogs dead, and Helena gone. He looks in shock as Helena knocks him over the head with a gun that was handed to her. “ Thank you Grandson,” she continues Nikolas steps up and looks over Stefano.

    -After Bo and Hope tell Marlena and Roman they decide to break from Bo, Hope, and Shane because they want to find Belle and make sure she is alright. They call out her name as they burst out of the palace using one of the quicker exits and hear Phillip scream Roman’s name back, not too far off from the palace, and they find them.

    - “Tony” is sneaking around the palace when he hears someone exclaim “Tony!” and he looks to see Abe and Lexie after getting out of the chaotic palace through the main entrace, and Lexie met up with Abe earlier on after getting separated from the other four when Stefano’s men attacked. “Oh boy…” “Tony” says

    *LIS Opening*

    -“You don’t want to kill me!” Gina says. Sarcastically she continues on to say “ Shawn wouldn’t want you too” Jan yells“You don’t know Shawn, don’t you ever speak about him!” and Jan begins to beat the hell out of Gina. Shane, Bo and Hope intervene when they see Jan from a window in the palace and quickly get to them ” Jan” Hope says. “Spears what the hell are you doing here?” asks Bo. “Mr and Mrs. Brady, this woman killed your son!!” Jan says. Hope looks at Gina and attacks her in anger.

    -“How are you feeling Nikolas?” Helena asks him. “I’m fine, just in a little pain. What do you want to do with Stefano before we get out of here and I can take you back to Port Charles?” “Nothing…yet.” Helena tells him and continues on to explain “We stay here with him and when he wakes up, my Grandson, you take this gun and you kill him!”

    -“Belle! How are you feeling?!” Marlena screams out. “We’ve got to get you to a hospital”, Roman says. “I’m fine guys, trust me” Belle says as she slowly tries to stand. “All I need is a bandage. The wound is small, and it doesn’t hurt. “Marlena asks her how she was stabbed. She tells her about the whole Gina/Jan thing. Marlena, and Roman are shocked to hear that Gina killed Shawn.

    -“Tony” turns around and does a 180 of sorts on Abe. “Oh, Abe! I was looking for you my friend. I just found Kate Roberts outside.” “Kate’s here?” Abe asks. “Yes” “Tony” says, “and she’s dead!”

    -“Tony” takes Lexie and Abe to where Kate is. Abe takes a look at her and becomes sick to his stomach at the site of the 6 inch hole in her head. “Does this town have a good and efficient medical staff, Tony?” Abe asks him. “Yes, as a matter of fact they do”, “Tony” responds. Lexie, pretty shaken up takes off her shirt and covers Kate’s head, with it. “Who could have done this?” Lexie asks as she looks up at the two of them. “I’m afraid I know who did it” “Tony” says. Abe and Lexie stare at him.

    -EJ is in custody with I.S.A officers. They begin taunting him because of his name. They hate him, they hate Stefano, They have heard of Helena. As EJ is sitting there, word comes thru that someone was murdered, that someone being Kate Roberts. One of the officers comes over to EJ and says “Did you know anything about this, Wells?”

    -Helena tells Nikolas Stefano could go after Emily next….or even his own son. Nikolas stares at Stefano and then back at Helena “I’ll do it. You’re right, he could go after Spencer or Emily, and I can’t let that happen. If anyone deserves to die, it’s this bastard!’ “Oh, Nikolas, I am so happy to hear you say that. You remind me so much of your father”, Helena responds with a smirk. “Your uncle Stefan would be proud!” Stefano bulges, and begins to wake. Nikolas gets ready.

    *LIS Opening*

    -Shane finds Bo, Hope, Gina, and Jan and arrest Gina on the spot. As she is taken away, she promises the Brady’s that they will pay. Hope reluctantly thanks Jan. Jan is appreciative. “After all, I did love your son.” Jan tells her “Save it!” Hope yells as she shuts her down.

    -“Yes, I do know who killed Kate. It was none other then Helena Cassadine. That woman has been after my family for weeks now. I saw her shoot Kate” Tony says. “We’ve got to find Helena!” Abe says. “Now I have even more means to arrest her!” but as he finishes his sentence Lexie runs off. “Lexie, be careful!”, Abe Yells out! Abe looks scared. He couldn’t stop her either.

    -“Hell no!” EJ yells out. “I had no idea that Kate was going to be killed.” “Yeah right” the officer continues. “Let me out of here” EJ Whispers. “You aint goin nowhere Wells”, the cop shoots back.” No, I’m serious, You have to let me out of here and stop this madness before someone else dies!”

    -Stefano comes around. Nikolas looks down on him. Helena is smiling.” Stefano my dear. After all these years! I have been thinking of you, wondering what you were doing, wondering how you were, wondering if you were thinking about ME!! I wont have to worry any more, because after this, you wont be, and you wont be doing, and you sure as hell won’t be thinking” Helena scowls. “Hele..na, but I love you” Stefano says in fear. Nikolas slaps Stefano and says “Get ready to die, son of a bitch”. He aims the gun at Stefano, and puts his hand on the trigger. A gunshot rings and Stefano flinches and opens his eyes to realize he was not shot. Gunfire occurred, and the shot was not Stefano, but it was Nikolas who falls. Nikolas stares at Helena, and she is unsure whether it is bitterness, anger, or something else directed to her as he passes away. Helena and Stefano look up at the door to see LEXIE standing there, gun in hand!

    ELEVEN YEAR VETERAN AND GH CROSS-OVER CHARACTER OUT!

    As November Sweeps kicks off on "Life in Salem", more cuts are made to the cast. Lauren Koslow(Kate Roberts) and Tyler Christopher(Nikolas Cassadine) have found themselves casualties of "The War", when both characters were killed off this past week. "Kate was becoming useless, as her storylines were slowly decaying. She had an alliance with Helena which was what led up to her death," Co-EP/HW Daysfan stated "And it also revealed Tony had an alternate personality, which gives a whole new twist to "The War". And her death also caused Nikolas's death. I give Jay credit for bringing Nikolas on and he also was the one who pitched the idea of killing Nikolas off and he handled it quite well, so this means the Cassadine side of The War is taking some big casualties. What's next? You have to tune in!"

    However, also LIS has had a huge return this past week....


    Charles Shaughnessy(Shane Donovan), who played the ISA agent on the real Days for eight years back in the eighties and early nineties and breifly again in 2002, comes to LIS! Shane has taken a role in "The War" as he leads the ISA against Stefano, Helena, and EJ. "I always knew Shane would return someday when I brought Kim back," Co-EP/HW Daysfan said "And the buildup was there when Lexie decided to go for help against Stefano once she turned on him. She went to him and Shane has obviously made his move when he stormed the DiMera Palace."

    Shaugnessy is not expected to have a long run, most likely at least all the way through November Sweeps. But will he and Kim meet again? Time will tell.

    In other LIS casting news:

    Erika Slezak(ex-Victoria Lord Davidson) has been fired from LIS due to a huge cast. "She will most likely turn up again someday, but for now she had to go. And this also is building up to a brand new story for Victor."

    Jerry Ver Dorn(ex-Clint Buchanon) has also exited. He was fired along with Slezak.

    "Fall has been great for LIS so far," Co-EP/HW Daysfan says "But there is still November, the final Sweeps Period of the year! It will be HUGE, and filled with twists and turns!"

    Roman/Marlena: "They'll continue to chase after Stefano. Roman seems to be losing his cool now days, he might not play by the rules so much anymore! Both of them want to bring Stefano, and Helena, down! But to get Stefano Roman will have to revisit a critical place in his past...can he take it?

    Hope/Bo/Megan/Gina/Billie/Steve/Kayla/Greta/Nicole: "The Gina/Britta story shall be wrapped up in November...but it shall set off a huge NEW story for Bo and Hope. This will be one of the biggest stories for them ever done! Meanwhile Billie will be beginning to find a rival in Megan. Steve will face off with Britta/Gina once and for all but beware because in Winter someone will throw a wrench in Steve and Kayla's marriage! Meanwhile, Nicole continues to rival Greta.

    Tony/Anna: "As revealed last week to kick off Sweeps, Tony has an alternate personality! This is the huge person who threw a wrench through Tony and Anna's plans...and also readers know TONY, not Andre, was the one who shot himself in Aremid! This story will slowly be explored."

    Alexis/Lucas/Sami/EJ: "The quadrangle continues and heats up. EJ and Sami will grow closer, and Lucas tries to get over Kate's death with help of sister Billie as Alexis remains in the shadows. But tragedy strikes one of these four at Sweeps end, caused by EJ's hunger for power."

    Helena/Stefano: "They are going to be front and center, of course The War continues. It has taken full course and will continue to as all of Salem is involved. Their relationship will be explored off/on and closure will be given. At the end of Sweeps however the finale of The War you will NOT want to miss...it will change LIS FOREVER!

    -Lucas and Billie are still together. Lucas is crying, and Billie is consoling him. He thanks her and asks her if he did something dumb, does she think Mom would still love him. Billie asks him what he has in mind. Lucas angrily says “If my mom had to die, then someone else is dying too, at my hands!” Billie slaps Lucas HARD.

    -Stefano sitting as this desk thinking about the encounter he just had with Helena. “Tony” walks in and Stefano looks at him in disgust. “Father, why haven’t you killed Helena?” “Tony” asks his father. “I…I…ca..nt do that Tony. All the wrong she has done, the pain, the grief, the restless nights, the deaths she’s caused…I love her still! “You damn fool, you weak old man, I’d call it. Shot, strained heart, and all, What the hell else do you want to happen to you?” “Tony” berates Stefano with his harsh words. “Tony!!! Get out of my palace if you plan to speak to me this way!! I do not want to hear this…” “You’re going to have to, or I’ll kill you.” “Tony” pulls out a gun on Stefano.

    -Steve pulls Gina up and says “The police should be here any minute.” “Steve, I know that you don’t want to see me locked up…. Let me go, for old times sake” Steve looks at her with a sharp look. “Yo’rer crazy” he tells her “No, I am in love Steve, with –“ “Cut it!!” Steve says before the I.S.A arrives and apprehends her. As she is being taken away, she says to Steve” Remember what I said, Patchy” and she blows him a kiss.

    *LIS Opening*

    -“Lucas, don’t you ever say anything like that ever again. Our mother is dead, Will’s grandmother, Chelsea’s grandmother, GONE!, and you want to kill someone else, and take them away from their loved ones. You’ve got to get it together, brother. We have to be strong.” Billie exclaims “Your right,” Lucas says. I’ll go find Sami and let her know what happened.” “I’m sure she would be glad to see you”, Billie says.

    -“Tony what the hell are you doing?!” Stefano asks. “You won’t shoot me. You haven’t the strength. You are weak, just like your brother EJ and your sister Lexie who I thought would prove me wrong and not be like you 2 cowards.” “Your right, father…Tony is weak and he would not kill you, but you see I am not Tony, and I will shoot you like you deserve to be shot!” “Tony” tells him!

    -Steve is reminiscing on some good times with Gina. He can’t help but think about what she said about him not wanting to see her go. Steve asks himself, “ Am I insane? She was right, I don’t want to see her go” Steve for a moment considers helping Gina when he hears footsteps. “Steve…” Kayla says. “Britta!” Steve shouts out causing Kayla to want to know what the hell is going on.

    -Sami and Lucas find Billie and Sami offers her condolences to Billie as well. Billie says thank you. Lucas begins to tell Billie about what Sami told him about Kate and Helena’s alliance. Once informed, Billie calls in an agent, the same agent who let Sami see EJ. When he is told that Sami has information, he automatically shuns it and says “I don’t care what this woman said. She helped a criminal get away. I’m not taking her word.”

    -Another ISA agent comes in to inform Bo that it looks like Gina will be paralyzed because 2 of the bullets to the chest pierced her spine. Bo asks the agent where Gina is and they let him know that she is in a hospital about a mile off of the grounds. Steve comes in and Bo tells him about his confrontation with Gina and what just happened, and the development that he just received, and Steve and Bo both decide that they should go see Gina. As they are leaving, Kayla and Hope stop them and ask them where they are going. Steve and Bo look at each other.

    EJ is sneaking around the castle, and he comes upon Stefano’s office. He is about to go inside, where Stefano and “Tony” were, when he hears his name whispered. “EJ”. Its Helena and she motions him to come over. He hesitates.

    -Stefano and “Tony” are plotting. “Tony” lets Stefano know that he intends to kill Helena when he sees her. Stefano agrees fully, and says “I may not have been able to do it, my son…but you…you will be able to!” “Tony” loads his gun.

    *LIS Opening*

    -“Come here my son” Helena calls out to EJ. He goes over to Helena. “Yes, mother, what it is. I can not be seen with you, not now; you and I are both in danger.” he says, deciding to not stir up a storm by trying to take down her or Stefano quite yet “I live for danger, my boy. That does not bother me. I just want you to know the truth about why your father and I hate each other so.” Helena says. EJ stops her. “I don’t want to know.”

    -Billie comes down on the ISA agent questioning his professionalism. He shoots back at Billie by telling her that Sami Brady is a known liar who may have killed Kate herself because of her own problems with her. “If she can free Wells, she can lie about a woman she barely cares about.” he tells Billie “She’s lucky we haven’t been able to arrest her yet.” “How do you know so much about me?” Sami asks. Billie lets Sami know that ISA was involved when she was on death row, her file is still within the branch and all encounters she has with the law are documented. Lucas jumps to Sami’s defense, demanding that the agent believe Sami’s claim. The agent will not bulge.

    -Bo starts to tell Hope that he and Steve are going to see Gina, when Steve cuts him off and tells Hope and Kayla that he and Bo are going off the grounds to see if they can get some information on the place. Hope isn’t falling for it. She tells Steve his story sounds shaky and non detailed. “Brady, what’s really going on?” She asks Bo. Bo tells her that Steve is telling the truth. “I’ve called Roman and he and Marlena should be down here soon. Go with them and stay with them” Bo advises. Hope and Kayla kiss Steve and Bo goodbye. “ I hate lying to her Steve.” Bo says after they leave “I know, Bo, but imagine what would happen if we told Hope we were going to see the woman who killed her son.” “He killed MY son too. What the hell makes me so compelled to want to go see her?” Bo asks.

    -After Steve and Bo leave Hope is walking through the halls of the hotel just to try to get her minds off things, but hears two women talking about they heard a killer princess shot herself and was rushed to the hospital nearby. Hope gasps and realizes it is Gina, and anger wells up in her. She slowly walks off and out the door of the hotel.

    -Steve and Bo, on their way to the hospital, bump into Roman and Marlena. Both begin to tell them about what happened with Sami and EJ. Hope slips past all of them without any noticing.

    -Stefano is alone in his secret office and says "Whether my son fails or not, you will die Helena...and if need be...I must kill you myself if all else fails..."

    -EJ tells Helena that he does not want to know, now, why Helena and Stefano are fighting. He tells them that they must go somewhere and hide before any conversation between them goes on. The two walk away, as “Tony” opens the door, gun in hand. “I’m coming for you Helena”, “Tony” says.

    -Hope arrives at the hospital shortly, and asks the secretary if a woman named Gina Von Amberg is there. The secretary says yes and says she looks remarkably similar to her, and Hope nods and says with gritted teeth “She’s a friend.” and the secretary gives her Gina’s room number and Hope walks off.

    -After a few minutes Hope gets to the room where Gina is, and it is in a very dimmed area of the hospital and most people are off shift except several nurses and doctors due to the small size of the hospital. Hope slowly walks in, and she and Gina exchange a death glare.

    Then there is a split screen of “Tony” with a gun, and Hope and Gina’s vicious glare.

    -Bo, Steve, Roman, and Marlena continue to talk. Bo sighs and tells Roman he’d love to help, but he is going to the hospital with Steve to see Gina, and he’s not sure what he could do since he barely helped with the hostage situation in the DiMera palace earlier. Marlena interrupts and says she thinks its not a good idea for either of them to go see Gina.

    -Sami tells the agent she may have been a liar in the past but she wouldn’t lie about something as huge as this, but the agent sighs and says they need to question her anyway about the escape of EJ. Lucas looks at Sami and asks her what the hell the agent is talking about. Alexis watches from behind another building and whispers “Busted, Sami.”

    -Abe and Lexie stand outside the DiMera Palace and Nikolas’s body is wheeled out, and Lexie asks Abe if its going back to Port Charles. Abe nods and says he’s made arrangements and the ISA is flying it there immediately and he sent his condolences. Lexie sighs and asks if she will be tried for this murder too.

    -Hope stares down at Gina, who is slipping in and out of consciousness and is on life support. She slowly walks forward to her bedside and says in a monotone “After five gunshots in the past 21 years, you are still alive. If only any of my loved ones, like my sons, had been as lucky to survive things as you have.”

    Gina continues to stare, and as tears well up in Hope’s eyes she says “You just don’t stop do you? You just don’t stop murdering, kidnapping, and who knows what else?! You took away my LAST SON! I lost Zack that year, I lost Patrick, and to top it all off I lost Shawn!

    She stares down at Gina as tears come rolling down her face, and whispers “And you wanted to steal Bo too. Well that won’t happen, I will not lose another one of my boys. I will not lose ANYTHING else, to you, Stefano DiMera, Megan Hathaway, or ANYONE!

    *Life in Salem Opening*

    -Marlena says she knows Gina is also Britta Englund, and both of them have problems with her. She says it would be best if they didn’t go, and Steve says its not like they are going to try to kill her. Roman agrees with Marlena, and Bo says he has to go see Gina.

    Roman: No, Bo. I’m sorry brother, but I can’t trust you.

    -Hope tries to keep herself from breaking down, and she then shouts “YOU JUST HAD TO KILL HIM! IN ONE OF THE MOST GRUELING WAYS POSSIBLE!”

    She leans in to Gina’s face and hisses with emotion and sadness in her voice as more tears come “I didn’t even get to say goodbye. I did with JT and Zack, but not him..he was dead by the time he got to the hospital, and his body was burnt to a damn crisp!”

    She wails as she slowly stands…

    -Abe tells Lexie no, due to the fact Nikolas was about to kill Stefano and she basically saved his life. Lexie sighs and says fine, but thinks to herself Stefano can just die as well. She walks off, and stares back at Abe.

    -Gina continues to merely stare at Hope, and Hope continues to rave “And you took so much precious time away from my life several years ago when I was trapped in that tower, right here in Europe! You impersonated me for so much time, and tried to make Roman think he had some affair with you!” she shouts in between the tears

    “And then, lets go back even further!” Hope yells as she looks back at Gina “Because of you, Bo stabbed Steve’s eye out! Because of some trash like you! And then in 1986 or whenever it was, you caused me to get jealous of you because you wanted your former boyfriends! Then you got plastic surgery to look like me and created a new identity! You selfish bitch, you probably don’t care about anyone but yourself. Not even your daughter.”

    Gina’s eyes narrow at Hope.

    -Sami sighs and walks off out of instinct, and Lucas follows. He asks what the agent was talking about, and Sami tells him its just a bunch of bull they were feeding them. She walks away again, and Lucas sighs as he leans against the wall.

    -Gina stares at Hope coldly, and Hope remarks angrily “Did I strike a nerve? I probably did. I can’t say I’m sorry.”

    She walks around Gina’s bed and tearfully said “I lost my Gran. I lost my sons. I lost my life to you for a time, and at one point even thought I was YOU years ago, which took away even more time in my life! You could have come forward and revealed who I was at first but no, you had to scheme to get your beloved Bo! You have RUINED MY LIFE!”

    A smirk slowly begins to form on Gina’s face, and Hope finally screams out very loudly in anger it echoes throughout the halls, and she jumps at the life support machine and presses the activate/de-activate button several times.

    Gina tries to gasp for air but can’t, and Hope falls to the ground and finally breaks down in tears as Gina dies. Her wails echo throughout the room and halls in the hospital…

    -Maggie and Julie are back at Maggie’s house, and are putting up Thanskgiving decorations. Maggie says she can’t believe its that time of year again, and Julie tells her time flies these days. Maggie sighs and says its been almost a year since Mickey’s death, and Julie pats her and says she knows. Suddenly the phone rings.

    - Steve says “What? What the hell are you talking about?” and Shane says apparently her life support shut off unexpectedly, and Bo says that’s near impossible. Shane nods and says however they know of no visitors that could have shut it off, and Steve stomps off angrily. Bo runs after him.

    - “Tony” follows Helena through several alleyways, gun in hand. He smirks and thinks to himself that her time shall soon be up. Unknown to him, Anna is searching for him close by!

    -Hope sobs quietly on the bed inside the Italian hotel, and constantly flashes back to when back at the Italian hospital Gina’s smirk set her off. She remembers Gina’s blank expression as she died, and Hope finally realizes what she has done. “I killed a woman…” she whispers quietly in shock

    *Life in Salem Opening*

    -Julie picks up the phone and says “Hello”, and suddenly after a moment a frown grows on her face, and she begins speaking to the person on the other line, and then Maggie hears her saying:

    Julie: No, doctor, please don’t tell me over the phone. I will be at the hospital, but it will be a few days. His daughter is out of the country, and I don’t want to be there without her. Thank you.

    Julie slowly hangs the phone up, and turns to Maggie, and tells her the hospital has news on Doug.

    -Steve walks over to a building and punches it in anger, and he looks as it bleeds slightly. Bo walks over and tells him:

    Bo: Listen man, I’m mad about her death to…but don’t get yourself hurt over it…its just not worth it…
    Steve: Not worth it?! Bo, even though I can hate her like hell and it burned more than ever on that rooftop, I realized that maybe if I could just get her sat down instead of her getting shot for the millionth time or gallivanting around continents, there might be a small chance for her. But now, because of some DAMN glitch in a machine, she’s dead. And this time, I know its true. She’s dead, and neither of us can bring her back.

    -Anna walks down the sidewalk on a street in the town, and yells out:

    Anna: Tony?! Tony?! Are you here? (in a lower tone) Damn where the hell did he go? I’ve searched almost everywhere for him!

    In the alleyways, “Tony” continues to stalk Helena, and Helena can feel that someone’s behind her. She slithers through the alleyways, and for a moment she goes out into the sidewalk ahead of Anna, and Anna gasps in shock. “Tony” chases her and Anna yells “TONY?!” in shock when she sees him, and “Tony” glances at Anna and takes off after Helena.

    -Hope is shivering as she sits up, and whispers to herself over and over:

    Hope: I killed a woman…I killed a hospitalized woman…I killed someone…I’m a murderer…I’M A MURDERER!

    Hope breathes heavily and begins to cry frantically as she puts her hands to her face.

    -Maggie walks over to Julie’s side and Julie continues to explain that they want her to come down there for the news, but as she probably heard, she wants Hope home first before she goes there to find out the news. She continues on by saying:

    Julie: Hope is Doug’s daughter, my sister, and like my own daughter. I need her here, and it wouldn’t be fair to her if I did this without her.
    Maggie: I agree…but whatever the case, both of you will need to be there for each other. We all will, as we have been ever since Alice passed on. I can tell Hope is still reeling over her death, which is understandable, but also she is hunting down Shawn’s killer. I worry about her…she spent some time grieving over Alice and trying to get over Doug going into a coma…but I can still tell something is not right. This will be hard.
    Julie: I know, I know…

    -Steve sighs as he sits down on a crate nearby, and looks up at Bo. He says its hard to admit it, very hard considering he has wanted Gina/Britta dead a few times including this last issue with her, but he still cares for her in his own way.

    Steve: Not like the love I have for Kayla…but another type of care, you know?
    Bo: Yeah, I think I do. But any love I had for Britta has vanished over the years…or any type of caring. Especially when she killed my son…that took the last ounce away. And for a short time I couldn’t accept it, because of the sudden shock of learning she and Gina are the same person. But, no matter who she is, today I had thoughts of killing her myself.

    -Roman, Marlena, and Shane approach the DiMera Palace, after deciding to give Steve and Bo some time alone. Shane says they have the place on a pretty tight lockdown, and the battle between his men and Stefano’s has been dead for quite awhile now, now the ISA is searching the place from top to bottom. Marlena and Roman begin to ask if anyone’s seen Sami, but suddenly they see SMOKE in the palace!

    -Hope panics, and gets up and paces around the room. She continues to say she’s a murderer, and not thinking at all exclaims “I’VE GOT TO GET OUT OF HERE!”

    -Anna runs after “Tony” and yells to him what the hell does he think he is doing with a gun, and chasing Helena ALONE! “Tony” does not respond and continues after Helena, and corners her at long last in a dead-end alley, and Helena snarls at “Tony” and tells him to take his best shot. “Tony” looks to see Anna closing him on him and says:

    Tony: No time to take aim, but I am prepared with a Plan B.

    He takes out a large knife and charges at Helena, but unknown to him Anna took a small shortcut and yells “TONYY!” as she runs out RIGHT IN FRONT OF HIM! Then a scream is heard.

    Jay Vanderburg, who joined Life in Salem earlier this year as Co- Head writer has left the SONBC Soap. Vanderburg worked closely with Life In Salem Head Writer/Executive producer Tara Smith to wrap up The War storyline focusing on the Dimera’s and the Cassadines. When asked about his exit, Vanderburg said “It has been my pleasure working with Tara. During my time at LIS, I learned a lot of things about history of the show that I never knew. I thank Tara for the opportunity to learn, and I wish her and the show the best.” When asked about what’s next for him, Jay commented “ I can’t say too much, you will definitely see me writing again, sooner rather then later.”

    As for Tara, she also added "I loved working with Jay, he was a great addition for his time on Life in Salem and really helped out, especially with The War and that story would not be the same without him. I was dissappointed when he chose to leave the show, but we all have to go on. And there are no hard feelings between him and I, his leaving was just simply because he is moving on and I understand his decision. I am excited to see whatever he writes next, and LIS will continue on as it has. As for a new Co-EP/HW, right now its not in the cards, but you really never know, and if anyone is ever interested they can always contact me."

    Episode#191

    -Anna slowly says “Tony? Is that you?” and Tony slowly says “Anna? What…what happened?” and she says it is a long story, but they are in a DiMera compound on the island they were all at in November 1984 and they’ve got to get out of here!

    -Roman and Stefano both lie on the beach in pain, and both of them have been shot in critical places in their bodies. Stefano has a shot in his head and on his leg, while Roman is shot in the neck and shoulder. Marlena rushes to Roman, as he lies slightly consicious. He looks up at her and slowly tries to say “Do..c…” and Shane approaches and looks at both of them, and Stefano is already unconscious. He yells to one of the ISA agents:

    Shane: Get one of those jets back here now, that have some type of medical area! We need to transport these men to a medical facility NOW!

    *Life in Salem Opening*

    -Tony says “What?! Anna, I need to know what is going on! Last I remember we were in Aremid!” and Anna says she will explain it all but first they need to escape, and Tony sighs and says fine, but first they need to find a way to shut down the compound. Anna agrees, and Tony says knowing how Stefano designs places like these, he might know where a place could be.

    -Marlena to tells Roman to just hold on, and she looks down on him and breathes in and out as she says:

    Marlena: I know you can live…you’ve come through so much…survive for our love, our children, our family.

    Roman manages to clutch Marlena’s hand with his for re-assurance as he finally begins to fall unconscious, but before his eyes close a tear drops from Marlena’s eyes that land on one of his eyes. Kayla, Steve, Sami, Allan, and Hattie rush down to the beach and they see the ISA jet approaching, it not having gotten far after dropping Shane and the other ISA agents off, and Allan tells Shane that Anna must still be in the compound. He yells to Allan his men are trying to find another way in, they will get her in time. Kayla gets down and checks both Roman and Stefano’s pulses, and says they are barely alive but their pulses are fading fast.

    -Anna tells Tony to just lead the way, and he’ll say they will need to sneak past Stefano’s guards, but Anna says with a wink she has a better idea, and begins to explain:

    Anna: Again I’ll explain later, but Stefano’s men have a renewed respect for you. You can make it look like you captured me, and are taking me to wherever you are going to hold me captive. They won’t suspect a thing.
    Tony: I am still a bit confused by this all but I will go along with this.

    Anna smiles as they begin to make Anna’s plan look real, and they set off.

    -The jet lands, and Shane, Allan, and Steve and a few other ISA agents quickly get Roman and Stefano and carry them to the jet, while Kayla, Marlena, Sami, and Hattie quickly follow. Once boarded Kayla rushes to the small medical clinic-type area, and Stefano and Roman are quickly but gently put down on two beds. Kayla however says they need to hurry, because she can’t operate on them both. She sighs, and looks at the group before her, and says:

    Kayla: I need one of you to choose who I operate on: Stefano, or Roman.

    -Tony and Anna walk through the halls of the DiMera Palace, and guards stare at them though Tony and Anna stage their act. Anna whispers to Tony she thinks they are buying it, and he agrees. Finally they get to the place Tony believes to be the control room, and they enter. Anna laughs and says she is a professional at pulling off scams like they just did, and Tony grins. He walks over to the control panel, and examines them for a moment. He then says:

    Tony: Be prepared to run, Anna…the only thing I can do is self-destruct the compound…

    Anna sighs and says somehow she should have expected this, and slowly Tony pushes the button, and he grabs Anna as they begin to run and the compound starts to fall apart!

    -Marlena looks at Shane, and says she knows who she wants Kayla to operate on…but she needs to let him decide, because he is the one who will be the most fair of all. Kayla says they don’t have much time, and Shane sighs and looks at Marlena, Sami, and then Roman and Stefano. He briefly thinks of Kim, and then says as he stares at Kayla:

    Shane: Operate on…Roman. I will see if any of my ISA agents can try to keep Stefano alive…

    Kayla nods slowly, and turns to get to work…

    -Marlena and the rest go back into the sitting part of the jet as Kayla begins work on Roman, and she prays that Roman will make it. She looks at Sami, and slowly walks over to her. She asks her how she got to the island, and Sami slowly says in between tears she was with EJ…and they were going to try to stop Stefano and Helena, but EJ tricked her slightly and ended up being killed by Steve. Marlena sighs and tells Sami she is so sorry, but Sami says no and she will get over it herself…she wants to be here for Marlena this time.

    -Tony and Anna rush through the DiMera Compound while guards panic, and beams and lights fall, and Anna asks Tony how exactly the compound is self-destructing. Tony then answers apparently by collapsing, and both of them clutch each others hands as they run towards the main entrance, and once they get there Tony hurriedly begins to punch in buttons on the button pad to get the door to open, and after a few combinations he finally gets it open out of memory from certain combinations his father preferred decades ago. He and Anna rush outside, and see the jet and Anna says they must get there in time!

    -Marlena manages to smile at Sami, and thanks her, and Sami says its all part of growing up…she sighs as she begins to think about EJ again, and Marlena decides to leave her alone for the time being. While she awaits news on Roman, the pilot asks Shane where they are headed. Shane sighs and says he has been thinking about that, and then tells the pilot to head to Salem…it is a little ways but not extremely far, he just hopes Roman and Stefano can make it…

    -Tony and Anna rush towards the jet as Anna leads the way for Tony, and Tony yells to her once they are on that plane she better explain everything to him. Anna sighs and thinks to herself she can’t explain EVERYTHING just yet and flashes back to what Tony’s alter told her about Jan, but then outloud promises to Tony she will. Tony and Anna rush out onto the beach just as the ISA jet is about to take off, but both of them jump and they make it on in time!

    -Kayla stands over Roman as she and a few ISA agents try to remove the bullets from him, and she says she can’t lose him like the rest. She flashes back to Shawn Sr. dying because he gave too much blood to her, and then she flashes back to after the Chez Rouge ball and Caroline going into a coma…but then she vows to not let Roman go down in flames.

    -Shane, Allan, Hattie, and Steve all see Anna and Tony jump on, and Shane asks them in confusion whats going on. Tony says that’s what he’d like to know, but Anna says that Tony is back on their side and the DiMera Compound has fallen apart. Tony then says to Anna its time for her to explain what is going on.

    -Kayla continues to operate on Roman, as a few tears drop from her eyes. Meanwhile Stefano begins to flatline, and after a moment of running Kayla yells to Shane that they have to get to a hospital FAST or both Stefano and Roman will be lost!!!!!

    -On the ISA jet, Anna sighs, and tells Tony to sit down because it will be a long story. She then begins:

    Anna: Allan called me in Aremid, and told me Helena and Stefano as well as everyone else were all in Italy. You overheard me say Italy, and suddenly you started acting all strange. We went to Italy, and took part in huge drama with Helena holding everyone inside the palace hostage. You mysteriously vanished outside in the courtyard by the entrance, and later you were reporting the murder of Kate Roberts or something. You vanished again, and then later stabbed me on accident while you were chasing after Helena. Next after Roman got some information on where Stefano went, here to this island, we all went here and I found you. Then you, or I should say your alternate personality, told me you had DID…I didn’t want to believe it…but now I know its true.

    A tear runs down Anna’s cheek, and Tony says:

    Tony: No…that’s impossible…it can’t be…

    Anna begins to cry harder and then throws her arms around Tony…

    -Shane walks into the medical area on the jet and says that surprisingly Salem is not far from here, and they will be there soon and he’s already arranged for an ambulance to wait at the airport. Several medical-skilled agents try to revive Stefano while Kayla continues to operate on Roman, and begins to get emotional. Shane then says:

    Shane: Kayla, perhaps you should go rest and someone else can-

    Kayla continues to concentrate on Roman, but angrily yells:

    Kayla: NO! That’s what happened with my mother! I left the operating table and she ended up in a coma! I didn’t even get the feeling of knowing I at least tried! I AM NOT going to let my brother die, and I will not let myself make the same mistake with him I made with mom!

    -Tony slowly hugs Anna, both of them not even focusing on what is happening around them, and he slowly says:

    Tony: Anna…I…I am so sorry….I can’t believe I hurt you like that, or you had to find out this horrible issue…I don’t even know what to say, I don’t want to believe it…
    Anna: *crying*Tony…its not your fault and it wasn’t you…I don’t want to believe it either but…but…we have to…and I HATE to say that…

    Anna then briefly remembers what other thing Tony’s alter told her about Jan, but she thinks to herself she can’t tell Tony that yet…she needs proof first…

    -Shane nods slowly and says he understands, and slowly walks away. Kayla continues to work on Roman, but suddenly slowly she sees his eyes slightly open! She gasps in shock and Marlena and Shane both hear it and stand, and Marlena walks into the room and rushes to Roman’s side and clutches his hand again, and as she stares into his half open eyes she slowly says:

    Marlena: Honey, your sister is trying to get the bullets out now…and we’ll be to Salem shortly, just stay alive…please…

    Roman stares at Marlena, but suddenly, his eyes seem a bit dazed as he just stares, and Marlena stands at his side as Kayla continues to work, and Marlena then asks Kayla:

    Marlena: Wait…something seems…not right…whats wrong?

    Kayla looks at Roman for a moment and her eyes widen, and then responds sadly:

    Kayla: He’s not dead but…and I will wait for official confirmation once we get back in Salem…but this doesn’t look good…

    -Anna says they just had a situation like this back in Aremid, and she hates having to go through some revelation again. Tony slowly says he knows, and they continue to embrace each other. Tony promises her once they get back to Salem they will figure all of this out.

    -Marlena snaps to Kayla she doesn’t need her to be vague, and Kayla sighs and says she can’t be sidetracked while trying to remove two bullets with so little help and she doesn’t want to panic Marlena, but Marlena again tells her to tell her what is happening to Roman. As Kayla stares down at one of the bullets as she tries to remove it, she says:

    Kayla: I…I think Roman is going into a catatonic state due to the gunshots…

    *Life in Salem Opening*

    -Shane decides to check on Stefano, and walks through a curtain that was sat up between Stefano and Roman, and asks the agents that are tending to him how he is. The most medical-skilled one says he’s struggling, and flatlined earlier but they managed to barely save him, but he’s holding on by a thread.

    -Anna nods slowly, and thinks to herself she has more than Tony knows to do when they get to Salem, and thinks to herself she needs Jan’s, Tony’s, and Marlena’s DNA to run a test…so she knows for certain who Jan is.

    -Marlena says no, that can’t be possible, but Kayla says it will all be certain in time they just have to see. Kayla continues the operation, as Marlena tells Roman not to leave her…

    -Shane tells the agents to just keep Stefano alive until they reach Salem, and he doesn’t want anymore people to die. The agents nod slowly, and Shane walks out of the room and sighs. As he sits down in the sitting area, he sighs thinking about all the drama that has occurred in the past month.

    -In the medical area, Marlena continues to hold onto Roman’s hand tightly, and he begins to look at her as he fades in and out of consciousness. She sees confidence in his eyes, and Marlena briefly smiles at him and holds her hand up and blows him a kiss.

    -Everyone except Marlena, Kayla, Roman, Stefano, and some agents are in the sitting area of the ISA jet…and it is announced they are coming up on Salem!

    -The ISA jet prepares to touch down at the Salem Airport, and Marlena whispers to Roman they are almost to Salem, and he can get more help at the hospital. She promises him he will survive, and Kayla says that she almost has the first bullet out. Meanwhile in Stefano’s room, the agents have barely any luck with him!

    *Life in Salem Opening*

    -The jet touches down at the airport, and the agents begin to quickly wheel Stefano out and yell that he needs to get to a hospital IMMEDIATELY! Stefano and Roman are the first ones off of the jet, and Marlena walks aside Roman’s bed and continues to tell him to hold on, and Kayla follows as well. As Roman and Stefano are loaded onto separate ambulances, Kayla quickly goes over to a distraught Steve and tells him she has to help her brother. He nods slowly as Kayla gets on the ambulance after Marlena and Roman are on, and meanwhile paramedics tend to Stefano and the ambulances soon drive away.

    Sami gets off of the plane, and shoves her way right past Steve, as EJ’s body is also carted off. She sheds more tears as she sees the motionless, cold body…and Steve looks at EJ’s body emotionless, and flashes back to when he shot EJ several times back on the island during their struggle.

    -At the Carver house, Celeste is still watching Theo since Abe and Lexie had a delay in getting back to Salem from Italy, and as Theo naps she turns on the news, and hears about the shooting of Roman and Stefano and learns they are headed to the hospital now! She gasps and quickly calls a babysitter to watch Theo and plans to head to the hospital!

    -Shane, Allan, Hattie, Tony, and Anna are all off of the ISA jet, and Tony sighs and says so much has happened…and Anna nods slowly and tells Tony maybe they should get some rest, but Tony says no, and that he wants to be at the hospital to see what happens to Stefano. Anna says its whatever he wants, and Shane says he’ll be going there as well. Allan tells them he needs to get back to the police station, and Hattie says she has no reason to sit around some hospital so she’ll be going back to the Salem Inn. All of them then leave the airport.

    -The ambulances arrive at the hospital, and Stefano and Roman are rushed inside. Kayla and Marlena go in as well, and Kayla tells Marlena she shouldn’t be in the room with them. Marlena reluctantly says fine, and Roman is rushed to surgery, as is Stefano. Marlena sits in the waiting area as the operations on both men begin, and Marlena prays Roman survives, but hopes Stefano bites the dust…for good.

    Only weeks ago, the recently-hired Co-Executive Producer/Head Writer Jay quit the SONBC soap Life in Salem to go write his own OLTL blog. Since then, Creator/EP/HW Daysfan//Tara Smith has continued on her own as she did before Jay came to LIS. But suddenly she was contacted by aMLCproduction, who has created and writes sister network SONOP's soap S.T.E.A.M., hoping to join the soap as the new Co-EP/HW. Smith happily accepted his offer and welcomed him to LIS.

    "I was so overjoyed, and surprised. I didn't expect to be contacted by someone in such a short amount of time," Smith said "But I was so happy, and he has not written any episodes yet but he has so many story ideas and has watched Days for years and years, he will add a breath of fresh air to LIS. And he is thrilled just as much as I am and assures readers no MAJOR shake-ups will happen."

    ML's first episode will air at an unknown date, and also S.T.E.A.M. fans need to not worry, for ML will continue to write that soap as well.

    -Abe and Lexie arrive at the airport after finally returning from Italy, and Abe sighs as he turns to Lexie and says its time for her to return to jail, and Lexie begs him not to do it, and says:

    Lexie: At least let me see Theo, my son, one last time. I did this all for him, not for you, him! That’s the reason I contacted Shane Donovan and the ISA and if I had not you, not to mention the rest of Salem, might not be alive! Just please take that into consideration, Abe, please!
    Abe: I’m sorry, Lexie…

    Abe takes out handcuffs, but suddenly his cell phone rings.

    -After Julie gets off the phone with David, Jeremy says:

    Jeremy: Your SON is coming to Salem?
    Julie: Oh yes! You all will love him! He’s such a good and kind man…I am so glad because I have barely seen him in the past couple of decades…
    Abby: Why?
    Julie: He ran off after his old fling, Renee, was murdered…I have been worried for him ever since. But now, he’s coming back to Salem…possibly for more than just the holidays.

    -Marlena attacks Kristen at the hospital, but Kristen manages to push her back and the two get into a struggle! Kristen warns Marlena to not push her to her limit, but Shane and Bo break the two up. Shane tells them this does not need to happen here and now, and Kristen tells Marlena she is the one who needs to be locked up. Marlena angrily tells her she will never take care of or see Roman ever again. Kristen snarls as she tells the doctor to take her to her father, and he leads Kristen off. Marlena sighs, and tells Kayla to take her to Roman. As they walk off, Bo says it looks like new trouble has just risen from Stefano’s ashes.

    *Life in Salem Opening*

    -Abe answers his cell phone at the airport, and hears Allan on the other line. Allan is at the police station and tells Abe all about what happened at the island, and how Roman and Stefano are now at the hospital. Abe’s eyes widen in shock, and soon he hangs up the phone. He looks to Lexie, and says:

    Abe: Looks like we’ll be taking a side trip after all…your father and Roman are in the hospital, and news just came back on both of their conditions…Roman is catatonic, and Stefano is in a coma…

    Lexie is silent in shock as Abe gently grabs her and they leave the airport…

    -Abby asks Julie if that’s a good thing, and Julie says it certainly is, its just she wonders how he is. Abby says if anything is wrong with him the whole family can help, and Julie tells Abby she’s right. She then says for now, they should just focus on getting the Christmas Tree up.

    -Kristen walks into her father’s hospital room at the hospital, and she looks down in silence at his comatose body. As she sits, she whispers to him that he will rise again like he always does…but if he doesn’t, she will rise for him!!! Celeste walks in, and says:

    Celeste: How the mighty have fallen…
    Kristen: Shut up, Celeste. You shouldn’t even be in here…you’ve betrayed my father like everyone else.
    Celeste: Because I am wise.

    Kristen is about to shoot something right back at Celeste, but suddenly both women hear:

    Vivian: I’m here!!!!!!!!!

    -Marlena walks into Roman’s room with Kayla, and Marlena sits at his bedside and looks into Roman’s open eyes, though he does not move. Marlena clutches his hand, and whispers:

    Marlena: Don’t worry…I know you’ll come out of this…just be strong, but I know you will be…you’ve already been through the worst of it…you’ll make it through this, my love…

    Marlena closes her eyes as she runs her hands through Roman’s hair, and leans in close to him as the screen fades to black…

    -Nicole sits in her room at the Salem Inn, and she watches the news and snorts at the news about Roman and Stefano, saying this was a long time coming. She picks up her cell phone and calls Greta, but no answer. She then leaves a message saying:

    Nicole: Hey princess, its me. Have you made your decision yet? You don’t have much time left, and its either leave Salem and all of its citizens behind for good, or your secret to daddy comes out. You better hurry…

    -Tony and Anna are still with the others in the waiting room, and Bo says he needs to see his brother. Kim tells Bo to just be patient, and that Marlena needs this time with him. Tony then says to Anna:

    Tony: That blonde woman, earlier…something seems so familiar about her…I just can’t put my finger on it…but I keep thinking of Aremid…
    Anna: I’m not sure, Tony…although I think she’s Stefano’s adopted daughter.
    Tony: I…think I remember her being mentioned years ago…Kristen Blake, but I still feel like I knew her better…

    -Kristen asks Vivian what the HELL she is doing here, and Vivian says she heard about Stefano on the news, and that she is his ex-wife after all…and she slowly says she sees he lived through all of this madness. Celeste slowly asks Vivian if she hears dissappointment in her voice, and Vivian lies and simply says:

    Vivian: Oh no…I am glad…it gave me a chance to come here and see my ex-husband after all.
    Kristen: You really don’t need to be here, Vivian.
    Vivian: Oh yes I do…just incase…something happens…

    -Marlena continues to sit with Roman, and she then stands and takes out her phone and leaves a message for Belle to come to the hospital and tells her about Roman’s condition. Marlena sighs after she hangs up, and sits back down. She says Stefano may be gone and Helena may have vanished, but Kristen is back and it feels like new trouble is just on the horizon…

    *Life in Salem Opening*

    -Anna says they just need to figure all of this out, and they will as he tries to cure his DID. Tony nods slowly, and tells Anna he thinks they should go. Anna agrees, and says these have been some past couple of days. Tony and Anna say their goodbyes to everyone else, and then leave the hospital.

    -Kristen snaps to Vivian NOTHING will happen, and Stefano will rise again soon. Celeste watches the argument, and Vivian tells Kristen that you never know what’ll happen, and even Stefano might not survive this round. Kristen scowls, and Vivian says now that she’s seen Stefano its time for her to leave.

    Kristen tells Vivian to please do, and Vivian walks out of Stefano’s hospital room.

    Once Vivian is alone, she says:

    Vivian: Well, if Stefano doesn’t croak on his own…I will have to make it happen.

    -It is a new day in Salem! Lexie is back in jail after she briefly visited Stefano while Abe spoke to Shane the previous night, and she is visited by Celeste. Celeste tells Lexie it shall take her some time for her to get out of this, but Lexie assures her mother it won’t. She says she just needs the police to look at that security tape once again to prove Tek’s murder was an accident.

    -Kristen is at the DiMera Mansion, and she says to herself it is good to be home, she just wishes her father was here with her. She also wonders what was wrong with Tony last night, and wishes Roman could be awake.

    -Marlena stayed at the hospital overnight, and Belle is there as well. Belle didn’t take Claire due to the fact she came in the middle of the knight. Belle is slightly panicked, but Marlena tells her Roman will make it out of this ok. Belle slowly nods, and says she just can’t believe he’s like this, but Marlena again says he will make it out of this and be reunited with them.

    -At Bo and Hope’s house, Bo and Hope are both still sleeping. Hope lies in Bo’s arms, but she is having a dream of her being executed. She begins to toss and turn in her sleep, as in her dream she is being injected right now as all of Salem watches, and as Hope dies in her dream she sees Gina laughing above her…

    Hope suddenly awakens and shoots up, and whispers “No…no…”

    She jumps out of bed and begins to get the rest of her clothes on, and then walks out the door…

    -Celeste tells Lexie it will be hard to even get the police to do that, and Lexie says she has to try. Celeste tells her daughter she wants her to be free, but it will be very difficult. Lexie sighs as she tries to think, and Celeste then tells her she needs to leave, but she will try to help her as much as she can. Lexie nods, however after Celeste leaves, she thinks of something and tells the guard she needs to use her one phone call now!

    -Hope leaves her house, and is walking through Salem. She continues to flashback to her nightmare, and exclaims to herself that can’t happen. She slowly walks by a liquor store, and stares at it for a moment…

    -Kristen keeps thinking about Roman, and flashing back to some of their times together in the nineties. She says to herself she must go see him one last time, and quickly stands up and leaves the DiMera Mansion and heads for the hospital!

    -Belle and Marlena continue to sit beside Roman, and Belle says she should probably go get Claire, and asks Marlena if she would like to come. Marlena looks down at Roman for a moment, and then says yes, she probably should get away from this hospital for a bit. Belle and Marlena both then leave.

    -Hope looks at the liquor store, and she walks in, but then says:

    Hope: No…no I can’t…I can get through this without drinking alcohol…I won’t go down that road no matter how stressed I am…I…can’t…

    Hope stares at the bottles of liqour, and constantly tries to tell herself “No”, but she continues to stare and nearly grabs a bottle!!!

    CUTS GALORE ON LIS! JAMES SCOTT OUT!!!! AND OTHER CHARACTERS PUT ON RECURRING/BACKBURNED!

    During the past few weeks as The War ended and the aftermath settles down, LIS can now report that huge cuts have been made to the cast. First of all, gone completely is James Scott(EJ Wells Cassadine DiMera). His contract with the show expired and was not picked up, and EJ, a major character on LIS and one of the main characters in The War, was killed off in the finale of The War.

    "It was a blast writing for EJ," EP/HW Tara Smith says "But, I knew from the start he wouldn't stick around forever. I made him the lovechild of infamous villians Stefano DiMera and Helena Cassadine, and also explored his relationship with Sami. As readers know shortly before his death EJ and Sami gave into their love and made love, and also became officially a couple, but EJ was shot in a struggle on the island with Sami's uncle Steve. His death has already had a huge impact on Sami and will for some time, as he was the best man she had entered a relationship with. But also the impact it will have on Steve and Kayla is immense and sets up a new story for them in the coming months triggered by EJ's death."

    But how will Helena feel when she finds out Steve Johnson killed her favorite, and last, son? "Let me just say that she will have alot in store for Steve and Kayla."

    Also expect many actors and actresses to take an extended vacation from LIS, although a few will be gone permanantly. "We have shown many of these characters heavily, and now it is time to give them a break to give time for us to focus on other characters. Roman(Drake Hogestyn) has already been rendered catatonic while Stefano(Joseph Mascolo) is in a coma, herefore shoving them out for a time. Stefano will be playing a huge role still, but he won't be up and about. Meanwhile Charles Shaugnessy's short term run with the show is ending shortly when he returns to Europe to lead the ISA, but Kim(Patsy Pease) shall go with him, because her role on LIS has ended for now."

    Mary Beth Evans(Kayla Brady Johnson) and Stephen Nichols(Steve Johnson) shall take a hiatus from LIS soon, along with recurring player Shayna Rose(Stephanie Johnson), but shall return in upcoming months with a HUGE story triggered by EJ's death as mentioned above. "Their hiatus shall set it all up, but when they return their new story shall take full course. It will be huge."

    Helena Cassadine(Constance Towers) has vanished after The War ended, and will not be back anytime soon. "She is on recurring, and in months she shall have a role on LIS once again, just perhaps not as big as her role in The War was. We don't want to cut Helena fully, but we showed her alot during The War and now its time for a break." Constance Towers has been placed back on recurring as she was before The War.

    Expect more cuts to be announced soon, but also expect for some MAJOR returns. Especially Horton and DiMera returns. In other casting news, Eileen Davidson has returned from her several month hiatus as Kristen DiMera. "Kristen shall grow into a huge character on LIS in time, we just had to get The War done and her pay for the crimes she committed earlier this year." Tara said
