He truly impresses me more everyday. He went straight from contrite and downright earnest with Trina to aggressive and hostile with Ava and held his own with MW. He’s such a gem. And even those few Sprina scenes sucked me right back in.

Def agree, was just wondering if anyone heard of any reaction from him. On Insta I saw some comments saying he already announced he’s leaving but couldn’t find anything official to confirm that

I hope you’re all right and that Sydney’s recurring status won’t stop Sprina from being a full fledged romance. They’re my main draw to the show these days.

Does everyone thinks this means Ingo is leaving? I hate that I still really enjoy his work on the show.

It would be a shame if we never got to see Sprina with these actors. But the way this show has been lately, I could see them just never completing that thread. Still if Sydney leaves I hope they recast Trina with Sprina in mind. I do not need to see this become sort of Joss/Spencer/Esme triangle

Agree completely about the decidedly intentional lack of chemistry between Spencer and Esme. I could buy them as partners in crime who like to cause trouble, but I really need the backstory. Was Spencer just bored and lonely in boarding school and that’s why he took up with her? If he’s staying with her now because he feels like he has to (either because he owes her or he’s afraid of her) I want to know that too. Spencer was coming on to Trina so hard at first and while it’s clear he still digs her, the script itself makes it seem like he’s loyal to Esme. I’m gonna need some explainin

The only surprising thing about Spencer and Esme sleeping together is they are SO not touchy feely with each other, pretty much ever. Even when they’re alone. But I can see Esme using sex as one of the ways to keep Spencer close to her. I doubt she has any real interest in him, sexually or otherwise. I was expecting all the college age teen actors to be on less, but somehow Eden, who will also be playing competitive volleyball, is still on contract? I guess there will be more Esme vs Joss. I was really hoping we would get a grand romance with Spencer and Trina.

That line made my heart hurt for Spencer. Nikolas just keeps making it clear his son comes second in his life. Which is in character but still really sad. I’m glad Spencer confessed though I guess this now goes in the direction of whatever future schemes Esme plans? I would really like Spencer to be in Trina’s orbit again so I hope this moves along quickly. One of the best moments of today was Spencer’s very sincere apology to Trina. Give us more of them show! Esme really hates Ava, it was apparent in their scenes today. I need a good reason for that. The actress is much better when not smiling smugly - I liked that her smile with Ryan was different than her smug scheming smile. Sonny is infuriating and I can’t handle that we are supposed to see his actions today as rational. Good for Nikolas for telling him he’s not even man enough to apologize. Next time remember you’re a Cassadine and threaten him with something horrible though.

It took me a second to get this and then when I did 🤣🤣 savage. I saw the chem btwn Esme and Cam too and now there are two teen couplings I want to happen that seem unlikely. Seriously, they were getting great buzz from Sprina so they decide to just not have them be alone together for months?

This show really is bizarre! Will this be yet another story that just gets wrapped up anticlimactically and without explanation? Or is this going to turn into some kind of slow burn where Carly and Jason still have the hots for each other (lol) and end up having an affair? I mean the answer is of course no because then Sonny would somehow seem less virile or whatever. So lame.

I’m so impressed by all the teens in real life. I’m not used to my soap teen actors balancing college with their shooting schedules (and somehow Eden will also be playing varsity volleyball?) and I love that they’re embracing the college experience. I hope they’re able to juggle it all because the teen storylines have the most potential for me personally. And speaking of the teen scene and colleges - Nick Chavez posted a pic at UCLA in his Insta stories. I love that he’s bonding with this cast mates.

I like the Cam and Trina friendship a lot, but I would really like to get some more Sprina scenes already. I’m ok with a slow burn with that relationship, and with Spencer needing to grovel for a while. But I don’t want them to start having Spencer/Joss scenes and testing those two out.

It is bizarre but honestly he should never have had that much say in stopping this storyline. The only time his Jason had chemistry with a Carly, in my opinion, was SJB and he really kept it from happening. Not sure why they’re going with it twenty years later in this haphazard fashion, with no build up or attempt at making it feel real. Even if they don’t want to try for passion, make it friends who love each other so much they want a nice comfortable life together. It’s just so poorly done and so rushed.

Spencer today being all “omg Trina said she liked me? Exactly what did she say and how did she say it?!” Was adorable. Hopefully Twitter makes a gif of that moment.

I wonder if we are going to be seeing even more of Esme because the other three teen actors will be balancing shooting with college. I understand her purpose but I want more of Spencer interacting with other people without her too. There was a moment today when Peter got a text and looked down at his phone and then up and said “Hmmm” in the most absurd almost satirical soap way…I can’t understand why is he doing this. He really did used to be good.

Same here. If this show were smart they would start building more family around Trina and keep her as Taggert’s daughter which basically makes her a legacy character. Bring in some cousins or something to start the next teen generation with Jake Spencer. But I love Taggert and hate the idea that he was duped.

I find Steve Burton’s cheekbones incredibly distracting. Especially when he’s with LW who looks very natural.

I missed many months there until Spencer and Trina sucked me in - does Trina still think Taggert is dead? I used to want this so badly. But I hate Jason now and can’t see what any woman on the show sees in him. He’s so apathetic about all his romances. So Carly can have him and their lackluster kiss.

Poor Trina she looked so sad at being outed like that and then she was all doubting herself. I was not pleased Spencer went at her so hard but I guess he’s that afraid of being caught out. Esme giving him those three options as if she would take the fall for him. That girl does not care about him at all. I guess we are supposed to agree with Joss and see Esme as pulling the strings and Spencer as her puppet but that’s let’s him off the hook way too easily. What I need now is for a cute PCU boy to come into the picture and for Spencer to get very jealous.

It’s possible MC didn’t even watch Ingo’s video and just Iiked the post without seeing it. Mindless liking on Insta is definitely a thing. Giving him the benefit of the doubt that he unliked it when he realized what it said.

Isn’t MB the one who was embroiled in the NLG/IG drama? The set must have a lot of tension right now. SBu has always rubbed me the wrong way too, but looking back on it most of what I’ve heard in terms of him being mean to other cast mates involved MB too. They were pretty rude to Jonathan Jackson’s wife Lisa (Hannah) but JJ still seems to be great friends with them so I guess those late 90s days are forgotten.
